Great Boot - I did not like spending this much money on any footwear, but this is a luxury and necessity item I assure you. I had a similar, almost exact exterior quality boot 20 years old now from a major outdoor retailer who stopped making this high quality type footwear about 10 years ago. This boot is mostly for snow and the occasional hunting wet weather, I could not easily tell if the boots leather is waterproof and doubt it for immersion, but rain and such is fine. I primarily use it for snowmobiling and outdoor activities. I ordered this boot to size on the foot chart. When I got the product I was a little concerned about tightness, but the card on the boot said if the liner fits good out of the boot, it will form to your foot, I was apprehensive, but they were correct. I wouldnt run a race in this boot as it is 1" longer than the normal boot of its size to accommodate the slipper like liner. The only thing I dont like about the boot is the crease tension when sitting extended periods in the crouched position on the snowmobile, but not an issue. This boot is as good as my old boot, the sole is firm at the bottom, but above that it is very rubbery gel like… not an issue just different. Inside is a waffle bed and a reflective liner that add like 1/4" in interior height, these as just free floating and I actually removed them on a warmer day. Above the rubber part of the boot the leather, tie system, look, and fit are quality. The thin inner liner is like a black material, not sure its purpose. The only reason I replaced my old boots is because of age and the thin inner liner adhered to the leather was becoming unattached in places. This boot relies entirely on the entire foot liner and the two inserts for the boots warmth so this should not be an issue years down the road with this boot. This manufacturer has other high quality boots in the same extreme range for a little cheaper with more diverse features and I may have purchased them as well, but they were out of my size here by the time I went to purchase this year. I am convinced this is good footwear and can’t see where I would be wrong. If it ages well, I will be very happy. Oh and warmth is not an issue, I have put this boot on cold over a cold foot with a thin cotton sock and in 20 degree weather snowmobiling and I was toasty within 1 hr.

The warmest boots this 52 year old has ever had, A little tight in the sides but I'm sure the padding will brake in.

Amazing boots, love the fit, comfort and how easy they are to get in and out of. Never had a warmer pair of boots. Whether it's ice fishing, trail riding or shoveling the snow at -25 or colder, they stand up to the challenge.

Best pac boots I have ever owned! I deliver heating oil in Massachusetts, so I'm outside in the snow all day. These boots are warm. I wear Smartwool socks with them and my feet are dry at the end of the day. I use Superfeet insoles in them for comfort and support. I have had one pair for three years and they still look great. I did put Sno-Seal on them to help with the waterproofing. Great boots and well worth the price.

These boots are incredible and worth every penny. My husband wore them on a winter camp out and everyone was gawking at his boots. His feet stayed warm and dry in the snow. They are super cushy and very comfortable.

My boyfriend has these and loves this but wishes there was just a little bit more support in the arch. Otherwise he says fantastic!

If these boots had fit, I would have been happy to keep them. For the overall size (mass) of them, they were relatively light, and if they are built to keep feet warm in sub-arctic temps, that should work for the Adirondack winters. They seemed very comfortable. The size I ordered states US 8 (mens) and Euro 40.5. I usually wear a woman's 8.5 or 9/Euro 40, so I thought these would work with room for heavy socks if needed and an orthotic. These boots were more like a Euro 42-just too big. I have tried other Baffin boots - the Evolution fits me in a men's 7, and the Granite fits in a size 6. Not sure what's going on with the sizing, but I couldn't get these in a smaller size, so I have to return them. Too bad.

the 5th time I put them on one of the eyelets pulled out of the boot, and they felt a little tight, i am returning for a larger size and I hope the eyelets stay in this time.

I loved the look, feel and initial performance of the boot. I live and play in the Rockies and my foot has never been more warm or more comfortable than it has been in this boot. The problem is that one of the top eyelets broke away from the boot within the first two weeks of wearing it. I replaced them with another pair, thinking this was a one time issue. The exact same thing happened to the new boot within two months. I SO wished Baffin would fix this, I would buy another pair IMMEDIATELY.
