Great boot. Looks good, makes foot look smaller (I'm a size 10). I didn't keep it because I have a painful large toe which needs a lot of room around it and I could have used a tiny bit more space. I would say they run very slightly shorter than their US equivalent. I ordered a 7.5, equivalent to a 10, and it felt more or less like an 9.8 or 9.9. Still, because this is a great, handsome product, I give it a 5 star overall grade. I am also marking it true to size because it is closer to being true-to-size than not. An important thing to note: This company makes a series of boots that look virtually identical, but have slight differences in fit. I also ordered the virtually identical style BL558, which had a higher toe box but felt ever so slightly shorter than the 510. Neither pair was a perfect match for me, and I decided to return both and go with Clark Wave, which gives my big toe all the room it needs. A note about this company: They have an interesting approach. They make the same style boot in many almost indistinguishable variations. If you look at their women's boot selection, you'll see 10 pairs that look almost identical, but each has a different model number. It would be helpful if the company wrote a short guide to its products, which says something like: 'within your size, if you are looking for a bit more toe height, then x style is for you. If, however, your foot is slightly long and thin, then Y is for you.' I bet they would get a lot more orders - and gratitude - if they explained their quite progressive philosophy (at least this is my understanding of their philosophy from the brief encounter with these boots).

I purchased these boots from Zappos several weeks ago. They are my 3rd pair of Blundstones, but the first pair of 510's (black). Both previous pair had been the standard brown 500's. I wear Blundstones 90% of the time and over the years have come to appreciate their consistent quality, comfort, durability and good looks. With the purchase of the 510's, I've had my first taste of disappointment with their product. The 500's I own are Australian made. These 510's were produced elsewhere. This in itself wouldn't bother me, except that the quality of materials and build has suffered in the change. The leather is not as thick or well processed. It feels stiff and brittle - not supple like the 500's I've owned. I can't help but think that Blundstone has cheapened their product in order to hold costs down. I would prefer they raised the price and maintain their quality, as I can no longer recommend the 510's - especially for the price.

As a horse stable manager, I rely on durability in my footwear. Blundstone are built to last. These are pleasantly nice and wide in the foot bed. I ordered a size 8, as I nearly always wear a size 8 in boots. Aside from that, these boots may be the most UNcomfortable footwear I've ever worn besides heels. I do have high arches. I wouldn't recommend these for people with high arches. My left foot "fell asleep" often when in a seated in position. They were very hard to get on, even with the pulls. I put theses away after only a few uses and they sat for a couple of seasons before I reached for them again. This time, after only 1 use, my toes were in pain and felt squished as if the boots were not long enough. To my bewilderment, my big toe on the right foot had a bruised nail. So badly, that I lost the toenail months later. I will try to find someone to give these to who were are flat-footed, and wear a size smaller as they are practically the indestructible.

I've wanted a pair of Blundstone for a long time, so finally decided to take the plunge and order. So disappointed in these. First off, the arch is almost non-existent. Granted, I am accustomed to wearing Keen shoes/boots and have gotten used to the excellent arch in those, but these don't even come close in comfort for the arch. Would definitely need to put in an insert. That aside, as it would be doable, the deal breaker for me was the sole. The thermo urethane outsole has a seam in it in both the front and the back, making them look really cheap - like plastic cheap. For the price, I don't want something that looks like plastic.

Absolutely love these! They exceeded my expectations. I am a women's size 7, and can often wear a 6.5. I have narrowish feet. I got the 7 (AU 4) and they fit perfect. They feel already broken in! I've been wearing them around the house today with some medium thickness socks and have room to spare. The feeling is not much different than when I have my Uggs on! I really love this style and was in search of this Chelsea book look, but with function and quality for the Seattle weather. I imagine these are going to hold up really well. The quality seems superb.
I also ordered the Dress Boot style in a 7, and those were bigger. I would have totally needed the 6.5 (AU 3.5) in that style. Hope that helps other shoppers! Both styles are super cute. The Dress boot is just more square and maybe a little more narrow looking. I may have to get those too! :)

Love the shoes. I read others' reviews to help dial in the size and was happy to find I made the right choice. They are stiff out of the box. I suggest wearing them for short periods of time (with socks!) for the first month or so. I was really pleased to get them earlier than promised, very smart way to create a loyal customer.

I’ve been wearing these almost exclusively since i got them a week or so ago. These offer a lot more traction on snow / slick pavement than my doc martens, and are a lot more comfortable to walk in in cold weather as well (to me the soles on docs get too hard in cold temps and lose some of their comfort and traction). I’m so far impressed with how these have held up with the snow/salt/slush of Chicago weather. I sized up a half size (normally a 9.5, ordered a 10) after trying them on in person elsewhere. They work well with thick socks and with normal socks, and I haven’t had issues with my feet being too hot or cold. Definitely would consider these one of my best purchases of 2018

I had a pair of these in the brown, and they have been amazing. I\'ve had them for a few years, and for about a year I was wearing them every day almost. They are warm enough to be a good city boot throughout the winter and cool enough to be worn in throughout the shoulder seasons too (here in New England). Stylish, comfortable on long walks, and highly functional.

Do you know how every once in a while you find something that you like so much that it almost becomes an extension of yourself? These boots are comfortable and practical. Can't wait for the weather to cool down again so I can wear them every day.

These boots were comfortable right out of the box. The fit was perfect. I wear a woman's 8 US the 5 1/2 AU is spot on. These fit like my Harley Davidson boots.

My first pair of Blundstone's lasted over five years...these are my second pair. I love them, they are comfy and water resistant. Note that they are large for their size (assuming you make the normal AU->US size conversion) - they kind of assume that you are wearing thick socks. If you don't, you might want to order a 1/2 size smaller.

I've been yearning for a pair of Blundstones since I first saw them on a trip to Europe over ten years ago. Since that time I've moved to Alaska where it seemed they would be even more practical than in my native Texas. This year I finally decided to take the leap and order some I planned to use as work boots in an Alaskan office casual environment. I did a lot of research about the sizing, and even found a printable sizing tool, and came to the conclusion that I'm a solid Australian size 10. I don't think I've ever been so anxious for to get a pair of shoes in my life -- I checked the tracking information a couple times a day while I waited. When they finally arrived and I tried them on I was crushed. My long and very narrow feet swam in the boots. I imagined a tighter fit. But I realized the nine would be too short so I looked for solutions. I realized that some companies ship these boots with an insert to compensate for skinny footed people like myself, but my shipment didn't include this piece. Today I visited a Juneau ski shop and after the fellow there pulled the same style insert out of his boot fit kit and I threw it in my boot the shoe became the perfect fitting piece of foot gear I imagined it would be. So be advised, all the Aussie sites point out Blundstones are like clogs or outdoor sandals, and say be prepared for a loose fit, but if you aren't willing to accept that and you have thin feet you can snug them to a perfect glove-style fit with one two millimeter fit insert from your local boot or ski shop. Now that I've solved the wide shoe skinny foot problem I know I'll cherish these boots for years and already have my eyes on the brown version too. It's worth noting that I use Superfeet insoles on top of the insert and with that setup the boots have great arch support too.

Seriously Disappointed -
First, the good stuff: These are much lighter on the foot than I expected, the soles are quite springy, and the overall look is attractive.
Now, the not-good stuff (and why I'm sending these back):
Don't know where Zappos got their size equivalents on these, but the 7.5 is absolutely NOT a Women's 11. I couldn't even get my foot into the boot with a sock on. A 10, maybe. But that's a fix-able issue...What's also not fixable is the poor quality construction--raw fabric edges, cheap lining materials, flimsy insoles, and rough seams inside that would chafe and fray. For the price of this short boot, I expect WAY better quality than this. Frankly, having now inspected a pair in person, I'm mystified by all the hoopla about what great shoes these are. I'm not even going to try to find a size to fit. They're not worth having.

I LOVE MY BLUNNIES!!!!
I have all sorts of arthritic changes ruining my toes, and these are so comfortable, and supportive, and I look FINE in them.
I always wanted a pair and now I know why. I wore them nearly non-stop from the day I got them until last week when it got too hot.
My knee stopped hurting and I swear I get fewer shin splint since these Blundstones came to me.
A touch of polish and they get very charming indeed.
Seem to run a teeny bit large.

The most important thing about ordering is the size chart. I normally wear a women's size 8 and had to order a size 5. My new Voltan Black boots are a perfect fit. These are great if you need a wide toe box. Very comfortable with no break in needed. The openings where your feet enter the boot are a bit narrow at first but will eventually stretch. I have a small ankle and it took some patience to get them on the first time. When ordering also consider the type of socks you'll be wearing. I wear mine with thick wool socks. Absolutely love these boots!

I’m usually a 10.5/11 in women’s and went for the Aussie 7.5 and they fit great. The first time I wore them right of the box for 8 hours. Walking around downtown and standing for a concert. They are so comfortable. I wish I had given in and gotten a pair years ago. Worth the price!

These are very durable and you can use in rain or winter with some wool socks. Make sure you look up sizing. I wear a size 9 women and got size 6. Little tight in the top part of the foot but you just need to break them in.

This is my first pair of Blundstone boots and I read many of your reviews before I purchased! I was looking for a sturdy, well made pair of boots that would last many years. I think I’ve found that with these boots. I am in between a 9.5 and 10 and opted for the 9.5 with the thought that the leather will stretch slightly and mild to my feet over time. Just over the past week I can feel them relaxing, so far so good. I have high arches and it was a bit of work to navigate my feet into the boot the first time but now they go on easily.

I love these boots. Have been wondering and wanting to try this brand for a long time, and I'm so happy to have them. I don't have many pairs of shoes, and so I wore these a LOT over the past few months and they seem to be holding up really well. I like their wide toe box and overall low-key cool look. Happy customer. (Zappos delivery was so fast as always, even in a pandemic. Thank you!)

I adore these boots! They were comfortable right out of the box on a trip to Disney...amazing! I have a tiny issue on sizing, but it's not a deal-breaker. Being a solid 7.5 in every shoe I own, I wish the 7.5 Blundstones were just 1/8 inch longer. I tried size 8, but they were way too big.

I love these! And I'm extremely picky with my footwear. I'm on my feet all day working in a school, and usually suffer from heel pain by the end of it. But these feel like clouds, are surprisingly light, and can be dressed up or down. I'm typically a size 8/8.5, and the 8.5s fit perfectly (with thin or thick socks). They also don't make my feel sweat at all. All around, I can't rave enough about Blundstones. If you're like me, and have been thinking of buying these for years, just DO IT. You won't regret them :)

BLUF: Comfortable, durable, and versatile. I waited to review these until after my latest tour in Europe with my band, including shows and daytime walking tours through cities and fields. For years, I looked for plain black "stage boots" and spent too much money. In the Blundstone BL510s I got much more. Best pair of boots like this I've ever owned, and may get another pair in a different color. Thank you, Tasmania (and Zappos)!
