I normally wear size 10, but that can vary between 9.5-10.5 at times. I got a 6.5 in these Blundstone 500’s. I’ve looked at them for a long time, finally pulled the trigger. Glad I did. I wore them around the house for a while to make sure I wanted to keep them-my feet got hot. (I don’t wear socks.) They will be a good fall/winter boot & will get more comfy over time. They aren’t easy to get in-I have a high arch, but that will get easier too.
Good, classic style.
Great Zappos quick shipping!

I went to the Bean store in King Of Prussia to buy a pair of Bean boots but saw this brand and decided to try them on. I have wide feet and usually need to buy shoes that come in wide sizes. These boots felt awesome as soon as I tried them on. I usually wear a 10 but apparently Australian shoes run a size larger because the 9s fit perfectly. These are extremely comfortable and they are hardy enough to wear every day ( which I do ). I liked them so much, I bought a pair as a gift for my son. He wears his every day too. *** Note: the only thing we noticed is that in the larger sizes ( 10 and above ) the vamp part of the boot seems to be further away from the top of the foot.

This is my fourth pair of Blundstones, either BL500 or BL510. The last pair is 5 years old and still serviceable as work boots, but not presentable for wear any place other than the hardware store or the lumber yard or shop.
I tried some BL550s, but I could feel the extra seam on the inside arch. Also the 550s have a much softer toe cap compared to the 500/510s. The stiffer toe cap isn't like that in a steel toe boot, but it does protect against some toe banging or squashing, especially in the shop.
Looking for a bit more toe room I tried a half size larger than my regular. The Blundstone site says the 1/2 size up will be the same length as the whole size, just wider. It felt to me like the extra width was mostly in the heel.
I don't think the quality suffered when Blundstone moved production to Vietnam. I've worn Blunnies for nearly 20 years. This is one of those products I really like. They fit me well. I like the style. And they are durable.

I saw these boots in a catalog of work clothes for women, but they cost too much. Then found them in the men's footwear section of LL Bean. Score!
Do pay attention to their sizing suggestion for women buying this boot. I wear a woman's size 7 street shoe. I bought the men's size 4 boot per the catalog suggestion. I would normally have purchased a size 5. Glad I listened to the suggestion as these boots run a bit large. They have enough room to allow for thick work socks. They are very comfortable with enough cushioning in the footbed for even my fussy feet. You will need to use the heel loop ( or a shoe horn) to pull the boots on as they are snug to get into at the ankle, but fit beautifully once on. I live in Montana with winters that are challenging for good footwear with adequate traction. These boots fit that requirement with ease. The oiled leather withstands snow and mud. And, they look great with casual wear, not clunky like some men's wear can be. I love these boots!

The best boot, as was my first pair. This time I got half a size up so I could wear them comfortably with handknit socks. They feel like slippers. I love them.

The fit and size were true to what they say. I normally wear a 6.5 or 7 so I ordered a 6.5 and they fit perfect. The heel is a little loose but not too bad. Great quality leather that will stretch out over time. They go on really pretty easy I was hoping I could slip them on really easy and I can with two loops it helps. I want to wear the around the house for a day to see how they break in.

I am very excited. My feet are on the wide side and I’ve tried the Timberland classic boot wide and it was too narrow, so were many others. These in the wide were perfect (wide is the .5 size). I love that they make your ankle look slim so that they work also with skirts not just pants. Excited, plan to get other colors and summer version.

These shoes stretch to the perfect fit! I'm a Women's US 7 - after trying on the 4 and 3.5 multiples times I ended up with the 3.5. They felt very snug so I replaced the Blundstone insert with a thinner insert - this gave my toes a lot more wiggle room. After walking in them for a day, they fit perfectly. They're so comfortable! I also love the dark, almost black, brown color of the leather and the brown elastic gore. These shoes seriously go with everything.

This was the first pair of Blundstone's I have purchased, and I LOVE them! They are so great. I will say that I ordered the 'stout brown' color and the coloring online looks a lot lighter than in person. The rust webbing material online is actually brown and the leather itself is very dark and appears black. I've had two friends say, "oh, you got the black ones." With that said, I would purchase the same ones again as you can wear them with any outfit combo. I am a women's size 8 and ordered the 5 and the fit was spot on.

This is my first pair of Blundstone's and I love them! I do just want to point out that the picture online of these boots is much lighter than in person. The rust color webbing is more of a brown and the leather itself looks almost black. At close inspection it is a dark brown...but very close to black...if you want a visible brown boot, I'd go with lighter. With that said, I still love them and its a great color to wear with any outfit! I am a women's size 8 and got the size 6 in these and the fit is perfect!

I usually wear a size 8 boot. I usually wear a medium width but my foot is more a wide-medium. I read the online reviews and ordered a size 8.5 and it fits perfect with a med weight wool sock. I had a pair of Blundstone's 20 years ago that I wore until their death. I decided to order the BL500 because I wanted a waterproof boot and the dark brown/black color goes with everything. I love these boots, so comfortable and they keep my feet dry in the wet fall weather.

A friend has a pair of Blundstone boots and was singing their praises. I googled them and was so happy to know that LLB carried them. They are a higher price point than I would normally choose, but I had some bean bucks so I ordered them. I was on my way to a wedding and decided to wear them out of the box on the trip (with a backup pair of Asics!) and they are a dream. I normally wear a 8.5 women's and I got a 6 Blundstone. They are snug to put on and take off, but I don't think this is a negative. The fit is beautiful and they just feel so good. I wore them from 9a-10p and my feet felt great. These are a great investment and I can't say enough good things about them. My daughter is eyeing mine up already (ready to trade in her Doc Martens which is saying something) so I might need to save up the bean bucks for a pair for her. Bean doesn't allow discounts on these, so it is really the only way to reduce the price a bit.

I'm writing this because it may help clear up some sizing questions. I wear a US size 13 (and sometimes a 14). In Merrell shoes, a 13 fits great, in NB sneakers, I need a 14. The Blundstones are sized with Australian sizing, so a 12 Australian approximates a 13 US, so that's what I ordered. They fit perfectly and are extremely comfortable. They are also lighter than I thought they would be, which is great and my wife says they actually make my feet look smaller. The top of the boot does fit under jeans with a narrower leg.
The image on Zappos is seriously off with coloring. Stout brown is a dark chestnut, which is a very nice color. The elastic on the sides is a lighter brown, not red as the image shows. The Blundstone website has a closer approximation of the true colors.
This is my first pair of Blundstones, although I have a pair of Keen insulated boots with the same pull on styling. I have a problem with my heel slipping in loafers, but not in the Blundstone (or the Keens for that matter. This style really makes for a comfortable, secure boot.

This is my 3rd pair - I've been wearing them since middle school. Got my second pair in high school when I outgrew my first pair. Those lasted about 10 years and now I am on pair #2. Currently I am a farmer and they are my go-to workboots. I got my first pair for horseback riding (I lived and worked at a barn 7 days/week for a while... they hold up). The quality looks the same as my original pair. I'll be interested to see how long these hold up. I bought a pair of RedBacks (another Aussie brand) which are still made in Australia, and although they also seem very high quality there was way too much shoe for me (too much and weird arch support, sole rocked me forward onto my toe). I sent them back and ordered Blundstones. Love them out of the box and I know the leather will get more supple with age.
I recommend waxing them or weatherproofing with a heavy-duty oil (I use mink oil). This seems to help preserve them significantly.

I have worn Blundstones for almost 30 years, my husband has worn them for almost 20. We both have multiple pairs in various stages of wear ("dressy" ones, pairs for riding, yard work, etc.). They hold up extremely well, resist water and snow (and are easily waterproofed with SnoSeal or other wax dressing as they age), have good traction but not too grippy for daily use, and are extraordinarily comfortable for standing and walking on a variety of surfaces.
They are extraordinarily versatile boots.
Sizing can be a bit of a challenge, but the various models are consistent size-wise. I wear a women's 11 medium in most shoes, and wear an *Australian* size 8.
It should be noted that Australian half sizes are wider not longer than the whole sizes.
"Blunnies" have a roomy fit, so I generally wear a light SmartWool sock (year round).
The elastic will loosen up slightly with some wear, so if you have larger ankles, don't despair!
I ride in these and have not had trouble with the soles being too grippy. Make sure your irons are wide enough, though, as Blundstones will have a wider profile than a traditional tall boot.

Love these boots so much. My last pair I had for about 8 years before the sole completely fell apart. They are incredibly comfortable. I feel they are a touch wide...enough so that I can comfortably put an orthotic insole in. I primarily use them for riding and barn work, but they are adorable around town with jeans.

All reviews about sizing are true! I'm normally 7.5 --AUS 5 was too roomy, even with thicker Stance socks. I still had a little bit of room around my foot with the AUS 4, and that felt better to me. Also felt the AUS 4 fit better around the ankle. First time wearing these (can finally afford a pair!) and they're awesome. Thanks also to excellent customer service at Zappos.

Love these boots — I’m a true women’s US 8 and ordered the AU 5.5 after reading reviews that they run small. NOPE! The 5.5AU/8.5US was huge — very wide, so much so that it buckled above my foot with extra leather, and much too long also. Returned for 5AU/8US and they are perfect. There is plenty of room for thick socks and the ankle fits snugly so they don’t rub or shift while walking (common with non adjustable boots, I think).

I am a women’s US 8 and after reading reviews suggesting to size up, bought the 5.5AU and it is definitely for an 8.5 foot unless you plan to put in new insoles or wear very very thick socks — I wear wool socks, medium weight and the 5AU fits perfectly. The 5.5AU also had tons of volume, so I believe what some say that the half sizes are a wide width, I just also think they are longer. I have a normal to low volume foot (average arches, bony foot without much muscle or fat, normal width) and they are snug at the ankle which is necessary to keep it on the foot when there’s no lacing for adjustment. Love my boots, love Zappos!
