I went to the Bean store in King Of Prussia to buy a pair of Bean boots but saw this brand and decided to try them on. I have wide feet and usually need to buy shoes that come in wide sizes. These boots felt awesome as soon as I tried them on. I usually wear a 10 but apparently Australian shoes run a size larger because the 9s fit perfectly. These are extremely comfortable and they are hardy enough to wear every day ( which I do ). I liked them so much, I bought a pair as a gift for my son. He wears his every day too. *** Note: the only thing we noticed is that in the larger sizes ( 10 and above ) the vamp part of the boot seems to be further away from the top of the foot.

I saw these boots in a catalog of work clothes for women, but they cost too much. Then found them in the men's footwear section of LL Bean. Score! Do pay attention to their sizing suggestion for women buying this boot. I wear a woman's size 7 street shoe. I bought the men's size 4 boot per the catalog suggestion. I would normally have purchased a size 5. Glad I listened to the suggestion as these boots run a bit large. They have enough room to allow for thick work socks. They are very comfortable with enough cushioning in the footbed for even my fussy feet. You will need to use the heel loop ( or a shoe horn) to pull the boots on as they are snug to get into at the ankle, but fit beautifully once on. I live in Montana with winters that are challenging for good footwear with adequate traction. These boots fit that requirement with ease. The oiled leather withstands snow and mud. And, they look great with casual wear, not clunky like some men's wear can be. I love these boots!

A friend has a pair of Blundstone boots and was singing their praises. I googled them and was so happy to know that LLB carried them. They are a higher price point than I would normally choose, but I had some bean bucks so I ordered them. I was on my way to a wedding and decided to wear them out of the box on the trip (with a backup pair of Asics!) and they are a dream. I normally wear a 8.5 women's and I got a 6 Blundstone. They are snug to put on and take off, but I don't think this is a negative. The fit is beautiful and they just feel so good. I wore them from 9a-10p and my feet felt great. These are a great investment and I can't say enough good things about them. My daughter is eyeing mine up already (ready to trade in her Doc Martens which is saying something) so I might need to save up the bean bucks for a pair for her. Bean doesn't allow discounts on these, so it is really the only way to reduce the price a bit.

I have worn Blundstones for almost 30 years, my husband has worn them for almost 20. We both have multiple pairs in various stages of wear ("dressy" ones, pairs for riding, yard work, etc.). They hold up extremely well, resist water and snow (and are easily waterproofed with SnoSeal or other wax dressing as they age), have good traction but not too grippy for daily use, and are extraordinarily comfortable for standing and walking on a variety of surfaces. They are extraordinarily versatile boots. Sizing can be a bit of a challenge, but the various models are consistent size-wise. I wear a women's 11 medium in most shoes, and wear an *Australian* size 8. It should be noted that Australian half sizes are wider not longer than the whole sizes. "Blunnies" have a roomy fit, so I generally wear a light SmartWool sock (year round). The elastic will loosen up slightly with some wear, so if you have larger ankles, don't despair! I ride in these and have not had trouble with the soles being too grippy. Make sure your irons are wide enough, though, as Blundstones will have a wider profile than a traditional tall boot.
