If you are looking for durability, style and comfort, these are the boots for you. I researched all the Blundstone styles and settled on these for versatility in terms of dressing up or down. I was looming for a slightly more stylish/feminine pair, and these delivered. I can wear women’s size 8 flats without socks, but normal opt for a women’s size 9 boot to wear with thick socks- , as I did with my trusty pair of Frye boots. These fit me perfectly in a AUS 5/womens 8. I also own the Blundstone 558, but those are a AUS 6/women’s 9, so a full size larger but fit the same. I use the extra insoles in neither pair. The first day I wore these 063s, I took a 20 minute walk in the pouring rain in these, and I was shocked that despite fitting fairly snugly with thick socks, no chafing pain or blisters at all. These felt like walking on clouds, stayed completely dry. Very impressed so far, happy with my purchase!

After reading other reviews about converting US sizing to the AU sizing I decided on purchasing size AU 5.5 in the Blundstone Black 063. My typical shoe size is US 8.5 - 9. When I first slipped these on with regular crew socks they felt a little roomy, my foot could wiggle a good bit inside. However, the ankle is very tight. Then I tried them on with super thick insulated socks and the boots fit absolutely perfect! The wiggle room is just enough space if you want to add thick socks or extra insoles (or both in my case!). So I'm glad I got the AU 5.5. The boots are classy and don't look clunky at all. Since the ankle is so tight it rubs a lot, so you have to get used to wearing really tall socks or tucking pants into them. There was a break in period for me, the first few wears the back of my heel rubbed a lot inside the stiff leather and I got some blisters. The boots are softening now and I also rubbed some boot oil on them. As for comfort, these are just okay I'd say. I have very high arches, and these have no arch support. So I will be adding my own more comfortable insoles. However, the rubber sole is cushy and walking is a breeze.

I ordered the boots and asked for a US size 11. They were huge. I normally wear that size. They felt so much bigger. Had to send them back and get a size smaller. Thank goodness for Zappos being so cool about the returns.

This show runs 2 full sizes too big. I normally wear a women's 10 1/2 or 11. Or a men's 8 1/2 or 9. I wear a women's 9 in this shoe. I had to send it back twice - buyer beware. It is a great boot, once you get the right size. It is slightly wide toed - good for folks with broad feet. I love Zappos!

Excellent quality, recommend to wear with thick socks to avoid chafing of leather against shin. Perfect for cold winter walks / rainy days.

Really nice boots! My first pair of 'every day boots' and they have become my favorite footwear. They are comfortable and easy to wear; stylish and practical.

I finally had to write to express how dissatisfied I am with these boots. Mainly because I know they usually get really good reviews. I originally got the size 8.5 which pinched the top of my arch so much when I first tried them on that I exchanged them for the 9's. The 9's are pretty loose which is odd for me because 9's usually fit me well. These 9's are too long and float around on my feet, so much that I keep stubbing the toe of them on carpet and I have to wear thick socks. The soles squeak a lot on marble and tile floors. More than sneakers. The finish came off them within the first month and the unpolished boot has a greenish gray hue to it. It looks like I just mowed the lawn.

Love this style for women. It has a sleeker profile than the 500 series. Very modern. Breaks in nicely. I have a narrow foot so these can be roomy but I put in my superfeet insoles and they made a huge difference. Now they fit like a glove. I polished them for some extra shine. Highly recommended. I am a true US women's 8 (5 AUS) and the 8 fits perfectly with just enough room in the toebed. Have no idea why people struggle with the sizing of these.

Great boot! I love them and they work great in the Michigan winter. I was looking for a boot that didn't look like I just stumbled out of the woods, and these boots look great with jeans. Now for the sizing, I wear a European 40 in almost every shoe, from Born to Brooks. According to most sizing charts, a European 40 is a 7 in the Australian sizes. Way off! I ordered a 6.5 (which was huge) and finally settled on a 5 which fits great. According to the sizing charts, that's a European 38, two sizes smaller than I normally wear.

Awesome boots! Even with a high instep and wide (EE) these fit well. Easy on/off. Do not use the waterproofing (niWax?) as it leaves a white film.

Overjoyed. This is my fourth pair of Blunnies, each of the predecessors were worn until there were irreparable holes in the leather. I love these boots so much. I typically wear a US women’s size 10.5 or 11 (european 41/42). My previous Blundstones were the round toe version; I had them in a men’s AU 7.5. After reading other reviews here, I sized down in these a full size to a men’s AU 6.5. Sure enough, a perfect fit! They were comfortable right out of the box, if a little stiff. Soles and arch support are exactly as expected. Bouncy. I love the subtle femininity and formality of the square toe. I expect to wear these every day. Happy :o)

These are great boots, and a welcome addition to my collection. Right out of the box, I know there is too much volume for my foot, so I slip in the Suoerfeet insoles (brown). This is a bit annoying, as I have a high-volume foot, and have to order wide shoes for most brands. But the annoyance is worthwhile - great looking boots, and they last forever.

I have a feeling these boots are going to last forever! Just incredibly stylish and sturdy. The square toe and slimmer fit gives it a more polished look than a regular Blundstone work boot — great for men or women. I much prefer wearing these in the office than flats or heels. I live in Northern Michigan, so I think these boots will be perfect year-round! A few notes: - I am regularly a women’s US size 9 (AU 6), but after reading the reviews, I decided to order a whole size smaller to a US 8 (AU 5). The boots fit perfectly — not too tight with just the right amount of wiggle room. I know the 9 would have been *way* too big, so please keep sizing in mind if you decide to order these boots. - I was a bit worried about the leather consistency at first. It arrived as a rigid matte black (almost looked like a rainboot?), but I had initially imagined them as soft and shiny. I talked to my local boot shop and they recommended I use the colorless Tarrago leather shoe cream on it with a horsehair brush. Once I used the cream, they immediately became softer and shinier! I think it even helped with the break-in process, as the leather was more supple and molded easier to the shape of my foot. - The footbed isn’t incredibly comfortable — it just feels like a standard insole. They are removable, so I am considering purchasing the Blundstone comfort footbed (or something similar) just for a bit of extra cushion. - I developed some blisters on my first wear, but I have incredibly sensitive feet, so I expected this. After wearing them for about a week with doubled socks, I can now wear them normally without any pain. Just wear them in small increments and you'll break them in within no time! - The section of leather that covers the top part of the foot was a bit hard to break in, but it feels lovely now that the leather has loosened up. Moral of the story: Keep wearing them! They’ll soften up over time and act like stylish little havens for your feet. :)

Insanely-comfortable boots. Hardly any break-in period. I read other reviews and opted to get a half-size smaller than I would normally get and they fit perfectly!

Love these boots for wearing around town. Not really hiking - sole is relatively smooth. Size perfect. Can wear with (almost) business wear and they fit right in. Exceptional comfort.

You can not beat this boot for comfort and versatility. Great for any kind of weather. Will loosen up some after putting on and off a couple of times. I ordered half size smaller than my regular size.

I got these boots for my 19 year old son and he hasn't taken them off since he put them on. They are sturdy but stylish. Great for walking in the city.

Wonderful shoe that stands up to a lot of wear and tear. These are the only closed toe shoes that my husband will wear!

This is the second pair of Blundstones I have. The first pair I bought over a year ago and they are as comfortable as the day I bought them and still look great. I bought these only because I needed a pair in black. Great boot and I doubt I will buy anything else if I ever need boots again.

These boots are comfortable and run true to size. They work very well in snowy Wisconsin even with a suit. Not too industrial looking and very versatile as they can be worn professionally and casually. Just what I was looking for.

Excellent everyday city boot. It holds up in all seasons; Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter. The last which has tested its waterproofness with all the slush in my area. Regardless, my feet have stayed dry. With respect to style, its look makes it extremely versatile.

I liked the style and look of these boots, but was concerned about the comfort. Well no need to worry because they feel really good and I can walk and live in them all day and my feet are happy. Come with wax for waterproofing, which make them great for all weather situations, too. They are casual and dressy at the same time; my new fave footwear for the winter!

My husband has size 13 and is picky about fit, style and function. He got these for Christmas and hasn't complained and is wearing them to work in Chicago and out and about. He was surprised that they are actually pretty warm, since they aren't lined. Nice looking and comfortable shoe for him.

These are very stylish, and can be worn with business clothes. I had another pair of Blundstones so got the same size, and they are spot on. Extremely comfortable as well, and good for walking around all day.
