i got the tan ones, and Zappos was offering free shipping 4-5 days free. so i'm thinking ok i'll get b4 christmas. and it'll be by friday and i ordered saturday. i got it tuesday. they shipped it sunday. GO ZAPPOS oh and love the shoes the are awsome and comfy.

I bought this product because it looked really cool and after wearing it it around my town, which is frozen all the time, and not slipping once, I must say, bravo. This is a great product. It looks good and it performs well.

These shoes looks nice, but they are built horribly. I had the black for for a little less than two months and they are already falling apart at the seams. I am very dissapointed in the quality.

Excellent shoe. I just moved to Philly and had to deal with snow, cold, icy sidewalks, etc. This shoe works great in combination with high wool socks. I've had the problem of chaffing on my heel but can't really blame the shoe alone. This is not a nonslip! Icy sidewalks are dangerous!

Overall a good, functional, very stylish shoe. Good for walking through the snow or wearing casually to the club or for the everyday walk.

I bought these shoes because I thought they looked very cool. Mistake! These are, perhaps, the most uncomfortable shoes I have ever owned. They are overly stiff and have these weird ridges on the inside of the heel that render them pretty much un-wearable for me. Zappos service was great, but these shoes are bloody awful.

I purchased these boots for my son who is a student in Philadelphia. With a particularly snowy and cold winter he reports that these boots have excellent traction and keep his feet protected from the elements. He is normally a size 12 and his foot runs wide but the 12D-Medium were fine.

First, I'm a DVS girl for life...there is no comparison to quality and style of the shoes. These kicks are great for riding my gixxer...they don't get hot or melt like my dc's and they grip on everything! I've tortured 2 pair for the last 4 years...when no other shoes could hang (dc)...these kicks still want to go for a ride. Thank you DVS...please make more 6.5. Go Zappos...stay cool.

I am well pleased with my purchase of the DVS Shoe Company's "Militia Boot Snow!" My only "knock" on them, is that the laces are 6" shorter than they need to be. I can always buy longer laces. The boots are just what I was looking for. The delivery was faster than advertised.

I have a black pair for almost 2 years now. And they are just starting to break and fall. And the shoe is very comfortable. Getting ready to buy my second pair. Love the shoe - best one I have worn in years.

I ordered this shoe about a week ago and it got here in good timing, about 2-3 days, so I was pleased with that. I like the shoe, like the look and it's been great wearing out. I needed something like a boot but didn't want to go spend a lot for a nice pair of boots. These will work fine for where I live at. I find it a little uncomfortable standing on them for a long period of time but I can get over it. Though I'm sure you could buy soles or something.

It is hard to get pants to cover the top of these boots. Regular jeans only cover down to the top lace. the arch support is great and they are very comfy. My heel always comes up when I walk because they are such a wide boot I cant get the laces tight enough. Other than that these are great I will keep them as they are hard to get a hold of and are perfect in the snow.

First and foremost the service from Zappos is great and that is why I shop there. The DVS snow boot seems good. Fits well and looks great. Great workmanship...but I have yet to wear it more than a couple of times...methinks it work quite well.
