This is my all time favorite shoes, I have gotten four pairs already, all black ones from Zappos. It is like stepping in clouds except that it feels sturdy. Skating wise, it is great. It is not too thick like Circas or Nike SB and not too thin like Vans' Chukka Low. It provides great heel protection. It doe snot last very long if you skate everyday, around one to one and a half months. But it is cheap, and worth it!

This shoe is fantastic! I skate everyday for about 6 hours. The shoe kept in place for about 3 weeks then the suede started to wear down. I still have them; this is the fourth week and plan to keep them for a little while more. Also the side of the shoe was the first to start ripping, so I hope they make a leather pair. So anyone who has good taste in shoes and wants to skate like crazy GET THIS SHOE!

MANCHESTER -
The Manchester Selects are probably my favorite shoe from Lakai. They’re super grippy which is a major plus, there's tons of board feel I could actually fell the curves and that’s something I haven't done with other shoes. They feel worn in from the moment you put them on they are just an overall GREAT SHOE.

Perfection on my feet -
Great shoes! Comfortable, tight or loose, and no real downside unless you get them dirty, can't wash the material.

My Skater Nephew is THRILLED -
We bought these shoes for my nephew for his 14th birthday - he is passionate about skateboarding and just LOVES these shoes. The look, feel, fit, and "cool factor" scored some big points for this Aunt and Uncle! Thanks Zappos, it was a pleasure to do business with you!!!

These shoes felt so good when I first put them on. They felt like I had been wearing them for a month. Skated good, but ripped within four weeks or something. They were great and the arch support was bangin’!!!

Definitely a Great Shoe!
I've been testing out different skate shoes for a while now and one of my friends recommended the Manchester Select, so I gave it a shot. I was pleased to learn that they needed little break-in time and felt great right out of the box. They are also great shoes for long skate sessions due to their durability and comfort. They have pre-formed soles so make sure you get the right size or they may feel weird at first. Overall this is one of the most stylish and skate-able shoes I have ever worn. Great job Lakai!

Best skate shoes on Earth! Both colorways of the Manchester selects have been the best shoes ever. They are like wearing really grippy, comfy slippers when I am skating. I ordered my shoes at 7 pm, and I got them by 2pm the next day. Props to Zappos for being the best online shoe retailer out there!

Buy this shoe -
I got these in the normal black/white and absolutely love them. They’re super grippy, have perfect amount of board feel. And they are the most durable vulk shoe I've ever had. I usually skate in old school vans so it's pretty hard to find a shoe with enough board feel and enough impact support but this is it.
It's also extremely sturdy for being a low shoe. The sides are kinda hard and soft and a perfect way so that if you take an awkward step or something when you’re walking you don't die and it won't hurt.
There’s also lace protection all the way up the shoe which is great because I didn't rip a single shoelace while skating these.
They are the perfect shape of your foot, and they're actually wide enough so your foot doesn't really overflow of the sides. And I don't have wide feet so don't think they'll be too loose for you.
They are my favorite shoe to skate in ever, they're really simple, they look great, and they skate great and I'll definitely buy more pairs.

If you are a fan of the original Manchester you will love this shoe. It is one of the best shoes I have ever skated. Its comfy right out of the box and doesn’t take long to get used to at all. Simply put, the Manchester Select is the best shoe, ever!

Theses shoes look great. The only concern I have is that they get dirty quick. But they are decently cheap shoes for a great price.

Great skate shoes with excellent board feel. I've owned 3 pairs and loved them all. And Zappos is the best place to buy them from.

Attractive shoe, comfortable out of the box. Seem to be pretty well constructed so far. Not much in the way of arch support which on my flat feet led to discomfort standing for long periods, but not many shoes that I've tried in this style are much better for that.

Comfortable right out of the box! The only skate shoe I haven't had to break in. Some of the stitching split after minimal skating (about an inch), but they're still great shoes.

This shoe has nice gel feeling insole once broken it. The shoe kind of forms to your foot after a while. The durability is good. If you like a good suede shoe, this is a choice.

These shoes were very stylish. I skate, so i decided to try these shoes out, and the rubber in the toe cap almost wore off the first time i skated them. I decided just to keep them as my school shoes. So, the only problem was them ripping too fast.. besides that. they're great: Comfy, stylish, and good board feel.

Awesome shoes. I have had tons of comments, both from skaters and from people who have no idea who Lakai are. I bought two pairs: bright orange and pink. The pink is a good rich jewel color. The orange is a wonderful glowing orange without being hunter orange. I ladder laced and tucked in: no problems with too short laces. I am a woman’s 8.5 to 9 and narrow. I ordered the 6.5, which is my usual size and found it was too short. I put it up against a pair of 6.5 Chuck Taylor’s I have and it was significantly shorter than the Converse shoe. So, I went up to a 7 and voila, perfection.

This is a perfect shoe. It is long lasting and comfortable. It is a little bit low, so not much ankle protection. Otherwise, the shoe is great. It takes about 3 days to break in the shoe. I would rate this shoe about 8 stars out of 10 just because of the low ankle. Don't let that stop you from getting a pair!

When I first got these shoes I thought, These shoes are really stylish. They have great board feel. I cant really say if they are good or bad because I have only skated them a few times. But for first impressions, they're great shoes. Zappos was great with the shipping, it only took 2 days to arrive. Thank you!

Great shoe. Footbraking will rub through the sole quick if you longboard. Grippy, good looking, but they get really weird looking when they are broken in.

This shoe looks amazing, feels great, and helped me learn new tricks...but it rips extremely easily so if you got the money to keep buying this shoe then get it; if you don't I would recommend Lucas Puig shoes.

Amazing Shoe!!!!
You can start skating in these right when you get them, no need to break them in. These stayed intact for about 2 or 3 months and didn't look worn out much. They've got great arch support and unless you have really gargantuan feet, these are nice (for the narrow-footed people). And, they look cool, so what's not to love?!

These were quite possibly the most comfortable shoes I've ever set my foot in. They felt broken in right when I got them. However, after skating for about a month, the front part started to peel off (the white part). But that was easily fixed. They're cool style-wise, skating-wise, and comfort-wise. I highly recommend these for the amateur skater to pro.
