Good for dancers with a higher arch.

This style is 1/2 size smaller than normal. I wouldn't be able to dance in them.

I've worn 9.5 in other Bloch jazz shoes, but these must run extra small. Instead of going up half a size from my normal size 9, I'm going to try them in 10.

I wear a size 9 street shoe. Originally I ordered the Neo-Flex in a 9.5. It was too small. So I ordered a 10. That felt even smaller, which was odd. So I switched styles to the Super Jazz and ordered an 11. It was much too big. Bloch has no consistency in their sizing. I really like the Super Jazz style though, so I will try a smaller size. But this is becoming quite the journey to find a pair that fits comfortably.

These ran one size small. Potential he more. I bought them for my 11 yo. Other than sizing, they were good.

When your preteen asks for "Jazz shoes" as a present, these Bloch shoes are pretty much what they want. Flexible, light and with a custom dance sole. A great value here, since there is no huge retail mark-up.

I have a narrow, and perhaps a smidgen longer than a 7.5 size foot. The 7.5 in this shoe was too short. My foot fit inside and the rest of the shoe was snug but not too tight, as one would like a dance shoe to be. However, the end of my big toes strained inside the shoes and were crammed into the ends. The toes bulged out of the end of the shoe and the pressure of the leather back against the toe was painful. It would definitely have resulted in bigger problems if I had danced in these. I returned and ordered a size 8. Sadly, the size 8 was too big on all accounts. Too wide, too long and too loose.

This shoe may not work if you have wide feet. I ordered the size I normally wear in Bloch Salsa shoes but the width of this jazz shoe was way too narrow for me. I'm going to have to switch to a different brand to find the wide width option. (I always shop with Zappos since they have the best return policy!) Aside from the width this seems like a nice shoe. The heel is soft and comfortable right out of the box. Although it doesn't have the traditional arch support you would find in a sneaker, the material really hugs your arch and ends up providing more support than a ballet slipper would.

As someone with a very low arch who uses these for contra dancing, i am very disappointing in the utter lack of arch support these shoes have. They fit my feet well and were otherwise comfortable, but are not serving their purpose to support me while dancing.

Order one size up. I wear an 8 1/2 and returned them for a size 9. I need to powder my feet to get these on. They are supposed to be a medium width. I hope they will stretch out over time.

I loved these dancer’s shoes. Unfortunately, I couldn’t fit them over my instep. I had to return them.

Unfortunately these shoes didn’t fit over my instep. I really couldn’t judge them on the foot length, etc. as I couldn’t get them on. I returned them immediately.

So I just went back and re-read the reviews. Most people are saying to order a size up. I've owned Bloch in the past and that's usually true. IDK if I just got a pair with the wrong size marked but these are at least 1 whole size too big. I also ordered the Bloch Pulse, same size, and they fit as expected, very snug. I think these shoes would probably be great, but they are just too big. The soles are extremely slippery, so if you need them to do spins they would be great. Definitely order a few sizes and return the ones that don't fit.

These ran very very small. My daughter usually wears a 5.5 or 6, and we had to send both back. We'll try a larger size, but my guess is that she'll need a size 7.

First time I have bought a dance shoe that was not Capezio, but the reviews were all good. These run small. I got a nine and they are tight, but I don't have time to get another pair so I will pray the stretch and don't cripple me. The overall quality seems decent. Usually I am spot on size-wise or dance shoes run large on me, so I was surprised these were small.

Getting a full size up doesn't help the fit. One needs a wider toe box and the size they measure. I wear an 8 or 8.5 getting a nine only shifted my foot around in the shoe such that the arch was in the wrong place. This shoes just doesn't work for me. I have hammer toes and the fit must be right or it gets worse and hinders my dancing. If any one has a suggestion for a dance shoe that comes in different widths, I would love to know about it.

These shoes are not street size. So I recommend googling BLoch shoe size chart and seeing what size jazz shoe from them you should order. I did this and they were still a little small for me. It could have been they run narrower than for medium widths or I just needed to size up 1/2 size. Anyways this shoe is a bit flimsy and I was expecting a better quality shoe, so its being returned.

I was told to get a pair of jazz shoes to use for ballroom dance practice. I have narrow feet and got these because they had an elastic gore. I ordered my street shoe side and these shoes were rather short. While the shoe fit over my instep, there was a gap of more than an inch at the ankle and hence absolutely no support. These are going back. They are not appropriate for people with narrow feet.

So much smaller than size I couldn't even get my foot in them.

Crazy small! We've had to return twice to get a true fit. My daughter is a 6 and we finally had to order the 8! Ugh. Only buying these because they are required for school.
