No need to break this shoe in! I've never worn such a comfortable dance shoe. They came straight out the box, onto my feet, and we were on the dance floor. I love the easy buckle and the spilt sole. I only wish it had an option for a higher heel. Besides that, these shoes are ideal!

Half a size too small for my size.

I've had these shoes for almost a month now, and I love them! They are so beautiful and really show foot articulation, unlike some other character shoes. I followed other reviewers' advice and ordered up a half size. I'm a little concerned that they might stretch out a little bit, but so far they're staying true to when I got them.

I received the brock shoe in the tan color. I tried it on and I love them. I ordered 1 whole size larger and it fits perfect and feels great. Very flexible material. Definitely recommend these shoes for dancing.

A sweet dancing shoe. I usually wear a 9, but ordered it in a 10 because of my wide feet. Glad I did. They feel fine as I step and walk. Zappos is an amazing shopping experience. The process of looking for what you want and what is available is so easy to understand and see what is available. The deals are great. The folks on the phones are always so kind and helpful and never seem to be put out with you or pushy. And the speed of delivery is unbelievable! Great shoe. Terrific alternative to a character shoe. Runs small though! I always wear a 10, and these feel very small for a size 10.

I read all the previous comments and based on that ordered 3 different pairs ranging from 7 1\/2 ot 8 1\/2. Depending on the shoe I usually fit between a 7 1\/2 and an 8 but it turns out that the 8 1\/2 fit the best. I am so looking forward to wearing them for class and at my recital.

It took two days for them to process my order and ship out my shoes, and another two days for the shoes to arrive. Personally, when I first received them I was surprised at how 'plastic' and shiny the leather looked. The heel doesn't look like 2.5 inches. It looks more like 2 inches. When I wore them they made my feet look very chunky, but it did have excellent arch support and the T-strap lengthened my legs. The buckle is nifty though! I wear a street size 8 and ordered a size 9 for these shoes. They fit perfectly.

Way too small. I wear an 11 street shoe. These don't even come close. I suggest ordering an entire size larger. They look like they would have wonderful as practice shoes for tango. Too bad they don't come any larger.

I ADORE these shoes! Super comfortable, cute, light weight, and you can easily decorate them. This is the third pair I've bought and they are worth every penny. I've performed in these shoes all over the world and they have done well on many different floors.

I just started taking serious dance lessons and these shoes are incredible. Very comfortable and easy to move in. I wear medium width and they are slightly loose, but not a problem. I usually last about 10 minutes dancing in heels before I go barefoot, but I have taken 6 lessons at 1 1\/2 hours each and one dance party for three hours with no problem!

I purchased these character shoes for my daughter who is in high school. She has been dancing for many years and she is impressed with the comfort, looks, and flexibility of them. They actually allow you to have a nice point. The heels are stable and make your legs look great. Her shoes are a half size larger(9) than her street shoes(8-1/2) and fit perfectly. We have ordered from Zappos many times. The service is always fast and efficient with no hassle on returns.

This shoe is as comfortable as a flat, with lots of arch support. I have a wide metatarsal area and still had room. It puts the competition to shame in terms of comfort. You will need a full size larger than you usually wear, but don't let the medium width scare you.

I love these shoes! The are very flexible yet suportive. I have a wide foot & this was the only manufacturer where "wide" accommodated my foot. I also ordered a half size up then my regular street shoe size. Zappos has been wonderful to business with. I went through 8 different styles/brands/sizes before finding the perfect fit. I had no trouble with the return AND shipping was free! I will certainly do business with Zappos again!!

Quality made, comfortable, heeled shoe for toe protection during dances. My feet are wide, and this shoe actually fit. No complaints.

Since most of the reviews said this shoe runs small, and I am a true size 5.5, I ordered a size 5.5, 6, and 6.5. Amazingly, the 6.5 was the most comfortable and best fit in the toe box. Even though there's a bit of space behind the heel, because of the T-strap, the shoe does not slip off. I have never worn a 6.5 in my life. The size 6 (1/2-size up) was too snug for me in the toe area. And I have a bit of a wide foot. But these shoes are SO comfortable! Too bad they weren't more chic-looking, and too bad they don't have true soles, and instead they have suede soles, then I could wear these high heels to work and just "dance" through the day!

These are my 1st real ballroom shoes and I love them. They run a little small, I usually wear a 7W or 7.5 medium and the 8W is a good fit. Good solid heel for balance and flexible forefoot.

I usually take a size 8, but with this shoe, I needed an 8.5. I would recommend them highly. They are very attractive, as well!

The shoe came and it was a size 9. It was not a true 9, but way smaller. It's more like a 7 1/2 or 8. Otherwise, might have worked.

Amazing shoe. Even though everyone seems to be saying they run small, I think the issue is that women are notorious for wearing their shoes too small with their toes hanging over the front edge. I ordered my normal size (8) and they fit perfectly. No heel slippage, plenty of room in the toe box; this is a wide shoe, as opposed to a women's B. Great flexibility. Great non-skid. Wonderful comfort. These will rock when I dance the Lindy Hop at my son's wedding.

This is my first ballroom dance shoe for rumba and cha cha lessons. It is very comfy and the heel is wide enough at the base to allow me, a beginner, to feel secure and not break my ankles! It really added a lot to my dancing. I wear a size 9 street shoe and originally ordered a 9 1/2. It was still a bit snug, so I ordered the size 10 and that was perfect. At first, I ordered several brands of dance shoes. The BLOCH shoes were more expensive, but so much more comfortable. They were worth it. The Capezio shoes I tried would have taken a long painful time to break in.
