Best shoes in the world! I absolutely love them I have wide feet and they have a wide toe box. Perfect. Walk up to 60 miles a month in them!

These shoes are the best! I ordered 6 other pairs so I could try them all on and choose the best ones (thanks, Zappos!). I wanted them for hiking and rock climbing. They felt like sneakers, so soft and comfy right out of the box. No break-in time at all! The first time I wore them, a friend took me on an unexpectedly rocky, slushy, icy mountain trail. These shoes gave me great ankle and arch support, they stayed dry and kept my toes warm even though it was freezing out! (By the way, I'm one of those people who rarely writes reviews...but these are so great I had to run home and tell you all about them!) After a few hours of hiking, my feet and my entire body felt great. Not one blister or sore spot. And did you see the price? They turned out to be the least expensive ones I tried. This choice is a no-brainer.

I've been using these shoes for stair-climbing, and they have worked out well. They're comfortable, and I didn't have to break them in at all. I like the looks of these shoes, too - I bought mine in blue.

I love these shoes! The most comfortable shoe I ever wore! My feet swell due to arthritis; shoe sole, and all round comfort and totally helped my feet!

I love these shoes. They're my first pair of Merrells and I bought them strictly for hiking the trails in the foothills. I used to buy cross training athletic shoes for running and hiking, but now that I have tried these I will keep them separate. Highly recommend.

This shoe has a roomy toe box and is wide enough to accommodate my orthotics. I need shoes with a relatively rigid sole, which this shoe has, because of Hallux Rigidus (osteoarthritis in my big toe). They are not as streamlined looking as some other Merrell styles, but aren't too clunky. Nice with khakis. I had to order a half size up.

These are great shoes. They are comfortable and supportive, plus the mesh panels really do ventilate just as the name implies.

From day one, these shoes were more comfortable than my broken in gym shoes. Also, for a sturdy as they are, they are pleasantly light-weight.

I got these shoes for future hiking trips and haven't done anything very long or strenuous in them yet but have worn the for walking several miles at a time in the city and they were really comfortable right out of the box. I usually wear a 6.5 and got a 7 and they fit great. There hasn't been any hot weather where I am since I've had them so don't know how cool they'll be in the summer but the support is really good.

These are great shoes for walking and trails. I wore them in Costa Rica on the tours in the jungle and on the volcano. Very comfortable. Now that I'm home I wear them to the gym. Only thing is, I'm a white sneaker kind of girl so I wish I'd gotten the tan colored ones. But my sister got those.

I really like the look of the shoe, just need to order a 1/2 size up for comfort.

This is, by far, the most comfortable walking/hiking shoe I've ever worn. No breaking-in time required. Put them on and walk for miles. I hope these shoes are made forever!

I have an 8 to 8 1/2 foot and got the size 9 Moab Ventilator. There is between 1/4 to 3/8 inch between my big toe and the end of the toe box, which one needs in a walker/hiker shoe. As stated by others, the toe area of the shoe is on the wide side. I can wiggle my toes in the shoe. I don't have a true wide foot, but my toes don't like to be cramped. I need adequate arch support and this shoe delivers. The shoe feels/walks a little hard, but when out performing, seemed fine. I haven't had any problem keeping the shoe tied.

Love these shoes. Great support, very comfortable. The only problem is the laces are a bit short and like to come undone.

The very best sneaker on the market for my feet. I have broad feet and these sneakers give my ankles stability and protect my knees. I walk 3 to 4 miles every day and wear them to work. Attractive and excellent quality. 5.5 is a tough size to find and they make my size.

The laces are in the wrong place for me, and rub the top of one foot where I've got a slight bunion. Other than that, these would have been very comfortable. I have several pairs of Merrell - sandals, another pair of hiking boots, and I just ordered some boots, and I love the brand. These had good cushion and support, but alas, they just didn't work for me.

Awesome walking/hiking shoe No break-in required. Hugs your foot in a most supportive and comfortable way. I am so impressed with this shoe I asked Zappos to find me another pair in size 5. Only drawback is that the laces require a double knot to stay put.

Good service from Zappos. Shoe exactly as pictured. I ordered a 1/2 size longer to accommodate heavier socks. Comfortable shoe with high toe box. Kind of clunky looking.

These are nice shoes. Merrell's are great for my bad knees. These, however, could use some additional cushioning in the insole. They're very hard and my feet hurt after wearing them all day. Of course, that can be remedied with some inserts, but for the money you'd think they could spring for a little foam in the insole.

I tried several different shoes for my plantar fasciitis. These are the best for me. They have good support and cushion. They fit well and are very comfortable.

Love this shoe. I have a very wide foot (D) and it fits! would like to see a little more cushioning in the footbed but I can always put an inset into it.

This is my 3rd pair of Merrell "Q-form" hiking boots. With other hiking boots I experience some over pronation. I find the "Q-form" design to be a distinct improvement in aligning my steps to my hips.

Great, comfy shoes. They fit perfectly right from the start and even after an entire day of outdoor activity, they feel like I just put them on. In fact, after an entire day of wearing them, that evening I forgot to take them off until I was getting ready for bed! I highly recommend if you've got lots of walking and running around to do. Plus they look terrific!

I have been using this shoe all summer 2-3 times a week for day hikes of 10-15 miles, mostly on smooth dirt and rough rocky trails in the Sierra of Northern California. There is almost no wear on the soles and minor wear to the uppers. This shoe is a little more flexible front to back than most trail shoes, but that is what I need due to a condition I have called Haglund's deformity, or heel bumps. I cannot wear a stiff soled boot or I will get heel pain. Very comfortable and cool in hot weather. For me a great shoe.
