Perfect comfort right out of the box. There was no break-in period. Only boots I've ever owned that I can wear all day in comfort. They offer support and flexibility in all the right places for motorcycling. Love these boots.

I love these boots. I wear these boots all day, every day. My initial idea of this purchase was to have a nice, sturdy, protective boot while riding my motorcycle, however they are so comfortable that I only begrudgingly take them off my feet at the end of the day. This is my first real pair of boots, coming from mostly wearing sneakers. Honestly, they feel as comfortable as any pair of athletic shoes. In fact, if you compare the insole to that of any decent running shoes, you'll find that it is almost identical! I normally wear a 10-10.5 tennis shoe, and a size 9 of these boots fits me perfectly, but your mileage may vary. After a full year of (ab)use, they finally started wearing out to the point that they need to be replaced (In my case, the zipper blew out from the seems, and the uppers are starting to deteriorate -- local shoe cobbler could not repair them to my satisfaction), and I wouldn't consider ordering any other boot. Given that it normally takes me about a year to go through a pair of shoes, I'd say this is acceptable wear!

Great Boots! The break in time was rather short, around a week, and these boots are perhaps the most comfortable piece of footwear I've ever worn, no lie, at one point I was sitting on the couch and forgot I was wearing them. The fit is also exact and true to size and movement is a pleasure in these boots, excellent footwear and highly recommended.

Great boots even better buying experience! My normal size felt a little small with thick socks at a local store. I figured with the return policy at Zappos, I couldn't go wrong buying a bigger size. Boots are comfy and light. I ordered on a Thursday evening, expecting to receive them on Tuesday. I came home for lunch Friday and wore them back to work that afternoon. Less than 24 hours. Email said they upgraded my shipping to thank me for being a customer. Their little ploy worked, I'll but again!

These are too roomy. A surefoot insole helps and heel padding. The composite toe is a plus but makes for a weird fit. Otherwise the side zipper is great. I wish there were heel loops to pull on the boot faster. I felt the fit was better in a Bates but the zipper fell appart in two weeks. The Magnum is a fine light boot.

Only problem I see... Great boots, very comfortable, only 1 complaint- they scuff very easily. Every time I brush up or hit something with the toe it leaves a white scuff mark- I imagine the composite toe material is white and it shows through.

Great Boot! This is a really good safety boot! The composite is a lot lighter than steel toe and they are very comfortable. The zipper opening on the side is not quite wide enough to take the boots off or put them on, but that is the only flaw I see. Well worth the money.

Short Lived - At first the boots seemed very strong and safe. I have owned them for 6 months and the soles have started to fall apart. It has become a safety concern since I work/live on a US Navy ship and cannot use them anymore. That was a lot of money for only 6 months use!

I bought these boots for the primary purpose of riding my Suzuki DRZ 400 Dual Sport motorcycle. My main concerns for my boot were: to find something very sturdy around the ankle, sole, and toe, yet comfortable enough to work and walk around in when i wasn't riding and also a side zipper for easy on and off in a hurry. I have had these boots for about 2 months. I am very happy with my purchase so far, no complaints. A little early to comment on long term durability, but flawless as of now. I wear a 13 and the fit was accurate and correct for my size. The sole of the shoe is very sturdy and feels good on the foot peg of my bike. I feel very comfortable going off road in these boots on very rough terrain. Boots are also a good fit for working and walking around in town, at the store, ect. Side zipper with pull tag works great and is a smooth pull up and down. Good amount of room to get your foot in and out of the boot, yet still zips up with a firm fit. Very solid toe construction and a supported feel around the ankle. Yet easy to maneuver your foot to shift/brake and whatever else. I haven't had these boots long enough to say they will last forever but so far so good. I wear these for riding my Yamaha ttr125 as well as my dual sport. Nothing but expected bumps and scratches around the toe. Comfortable for wearing all day working, hiking, fishing also. As of now, I would definitely buy again.

Wow! What a breath of fresh air! I ordered my work boots fully expecting to have to return them two or three times. I was pleasantly surprised. The size was right on the money and they were very comfortable right out of the box: no break in period at all. They were delivered in less than two days and I didn't pay for shipping! I am definitely going to buy from Zappos.com from now on for all my work boot needs. Just make sure if you wear a size 11R shoe to buy one size smaller in this type and style of boot.

These are really nice boots, but it is disappointing that despite side zippers, you have to fiddle with loosening the shoelace to get your feet into them, then tighten up the laces for a secure fit. That defeats the point of having a speedy side zipper. True, this may not be the case for your feet, since mine are a little thick arch to top. But not that much I do not think, since I have never noticed this problem with any other boots before. The full gusseting at side zipper and sole is very nice and overall I would really like to wear these boots, but I do not want to spend 5-10 minutes adjusting laces every time I put them on and take them off. Life is too short for that, so through the woods and over the hill, back to grandma's Zappos house they go!

I have been in Private Security for 12 years and I have owned close to 15 pairs of boots (numerous styles and manufacturers). I stand a post or patrol 36 acres on foot for 12 hours a day and I have never had any problems with my Magnum boots. They are by far the most comfortable and Durable (I am on my 2nd pair in 4 years). My next pair of boots will be another pair of Magnum Stealth Force. My only complaint is that I wish they had a pocket for my boot knife.

I use these boots for riding my motorcycle. I love these boots. They are so comfortable and lightweight. The soles are oil and slip resistant which is exactly what I want and need for riding. I highly recommend these boots.

I bought a pair of these from Amazon back in 2012. They were ok, but seemed a tad narrow for my feet, in accordance with the size. I was working in a desert environment during the spring and summer, and the boots started deteriorating after about three to four months, being worn every other day. I am 6', 225 pounds, so maybe that and the desert environment caused the damage. This was my experience. Good luck, maybe they will work for you.

Super comfortable and supportive. Best work boots I've ever had. However, the finish on the leather is really cheap and terrible, and it doesn't hold up well even under light duty. It started scraping off within a month of owning the boots, and less than a year later the toe is all scraped up. It's alright for a dirty work boot, but it's no longer something I'd even wear around the office. I still wear them because they're comfortable, but I wouldn't buy it again.
