My son is 18 and works at Dunkin Donuts on the weekends. The other day he was complaining that his back was hurting him after having worked his Saturday and Sunday shifts. Both days he works 9 hours each. His shoes are cheap shoes that are specifically non-slip for this type of flooring so I decided to get him these orthotics to see if that helped. Today is Sunday and he just worked his two, 9 hour days in a row and he says his feet and back feel great. No back pain and he says even his feet and legs don't feel as tired as they did before. So happy with these. They aren't cheap but they are worth it. Hopefully they will last. I do want to mention that my son has very flat feet and he tends to pronate so I was worried that the firm arch support might be uncomfortable for his feet but he assures me they feel great. Also these run true to size.

Great off-the-shelf orthotics/insoles - These work for me. Firm enough arch support, thin enough to not change the fit of a pair of Brooks' Beasts or Addictions, affordable (compared to orthotics). I put them in every pair of Beasts and Addictions I wear.
I'd also recommend:
These plus the Brooks Beasts or Addictions are a winning combination.

Great insole - My podiatrist gave me these when custom made inserts did not give me the pain relief I needed. The Powersteps were perfect for my foot. I have had several surgeries for tarsal tunnel and plantar fasciitis and I felt like I had a new pair of feet. I have bought several pair so I don't have to remove them when I wear different shoes. The down side is they do not fit dress shoes, but they are perfect for most casual shoes.

A lot of arch support--almost an aggressive amount of arch support, which seems rare among insoles, or at least those I've tried. If you need tons of arch support give these a try, but for a more moderate amount I preferred the New Balance QuickFit Low-Mid Arch insoles.

A great investment. I have purchased 6 pairs of Rockport shoes over the past ten years and found that their quality varies widely including the inserts. The Zappo inserts that I received last month are top quality and I am able to easily slip them in and out of my shoes. I was concerned about the width because I have narrow feet, but the Zappo inserts are practically perfect. At 56 years old exercise is more imnportant than ever and having good shoes is critical.

I had a Dr tell me to try these over going with a full blown orthodic. I had a ton of foot pain as I do commercail sales and I am always on my feet. These little puppies made a huge difference in the amount of foot pain after a long day. I have also tried the Superfeet as well and those worked great as well. I refuse to wear a pair of shoes that I cannot put either in.

I live in Columbus, Ohio and these are made in Cincinnati! I love them! I had a knee injury and my doctor recommended them. I wore them and ran four miles...yeah, and I did not have any more knee pain! I love this product!

These are great insoles for people with fallen arches. You will have to adjust to them, as they are very firm inserts. After your feet adjust...you'll be comfortable and happy. I've been a long time customer of PowerStep insoles. Usually I wear the Pinnacle version. These originals are slightly thinner up front, to provide little extra space in shoe. POWERSTEP originals are good for your feet.

I read others reviews and thought I would give these a try knowing if I did not like them Zappos will let me return them. I have used a few other brands, gel soles no real difference. I am on my feet 10 to 16 hrs a day with work and hikeing with my dogs. I am shocked, these have made my feet feel like I can still keep going after 16 hours.

The Powersteps are working for me. My daughter and some of her Yoga and running friends recommended them. My podiatrist said it was the exact one he would have had me get.

Have used these ever since having a stress fracture last summer. Provides arch support and more structure. No need for custom orthodics.

I wear these insoles in my running shoes. They have helped eliminate foot pain as I have increased my running distance. Great product.

Super comfort - I bought these after I was disappointed how hard the green Superfeet felt. The arch support is perfect and there is super cushioning throughout the entire insole. The insole fit perfectly in my shoe no trimming. It does not feel too thick etc. Right now I'm nursing a foot injury but will report back if anything changes once I get back to full workouts.

I purchased these inserts several years ago and they have held up very well with regular use being switched around between athletic shoes, lightweight hiking boots, and snow boots. The arch support is excellent, especially for a low-volume insert. I ordered the Powerstep Pinnacle and Pinnacle Maxx inserts at the same time for comparison and found this Original style to be the most comfortable for my foot (wide, high arch, high instep) and shoe styles. Will definitely purchase another pair if/when these eventually wear out.

These are the best over the counter supportive insoles that I have ever tried. They fit well in anything with a removable insole. They are fairly rigid but flexible enough that I don't feel the edges.I now have three pairs so I can keep them in my favorite shoes and even slippers, although they are easy to insert and remove.

I should have purchased these before the Pinnacles. these seem slightly lower and they are better for me. I wish they were slightly less hard on the bottoms.
I'd also recommend:
Powerstep: Comfortlast, but they are rather thick and do not fit into every shoe

These insoles may be the answer to my problems. I overpronate and need moderate arch support and it is almost impossible to find shoes that are attractive and comfortable. The shoes I have to buy are expensive and sadly my toes make indentations in the shoe beds within a few months making them uncomfortable to wear before long. The outside of the shoes are still in good condition, but the shoe beds seem to wear out quickly and you cannot buy replacements from the shoe manufacturer. I bought a pair of Gel Asics which had a squishy very comfortable foot bed that I really liked but the arch support was not enough. I removed the footbed that came with the shoe and replaced with these and I was able to keep the new shoes and walk long distances in them. I do wish the heel and toe area of the powerstep inserts were squishier, but the arch support is great. When I put my shoes on I can feel the hard arch but within 3-5 minutes, I am no longer aware of it. So if you haven't tried them before, wear them for a little while before you decide they aren't comfortable. I had also purchased the Powerstep Pinnacle which has even higher arch support, but I am not sure I need that much. I ordered them in a half size larger and would have to cut them to fit in my shoes, so can't really try them out to know. Since buying inserts is new to me, I am going to buy multiple brands of inserts now to try them in my older shoes that I would like to continue to wear. I hope I find something that is very soft, but supportive through the arch. I bought some Spenco 3/4 length inserts in college for my dress shoes, but they don't seem make them the same way any more. As noted above, if you wear a half size shoe, make sure you try the size below or you will have to trim the inserts.

Much better than the ordinary insoles I was wearing. I think they will extend the life of some athletic shoes I own and that were stretched out. These insoles are too thick for dressy, leather business shoes, in my opinion. One would have to buy something more specialized. These are a good buy for those who want to "upgrade" but don't want to go into custom fitted orthotics.

Nice thin insert that offers moderate arch support. This probably wouldn't be the best choice for someone with higher arches who needs more arch support. It does, however, offer more support than the insoles that come with the sneakers.

This helped out a ton, though after about three months they will need replacing from the constant pressure put on them.

Arch support is fantastic, but they aren't cushy at all. I'll keep 'em and use them in my old tennis shoes.
