These shoes are super comfortable! I wear them to work and they are perfect. Casual, comfortable, and easy to slip on. I got my exact size, and while they are a tiny bit roomy, I think it adds to the comfort and ease of putting on. The only con I would say is I wish they used their traditional yellow stitching on these.

Great shoes! I use them for work and they are very comfortable, my feet never hurt after wearing them. When I first put them on I was worried because the tongue felt tight on the top of my foot but after a few days of use they loosened up. I ordered a half size smaller than I usually wear and they fit perfectly.

What a great shoe! These are so comfortable! I purchased these for a trip to San Francisco, as we planned to do a lot of walking. I wore these all day long, and my feet were still happy at the end of the day. Easy on, and easy off. Now, I wear them at work all day too. I am on my feet a lot, and these shoes keep my feet comfortable all day long.

This is my second pair of this style of shoe. I love the simplicity of not having to worry about shoelaces; I just slip my feet in, and I'm out the door. They fit a little snug at first, but they eventually stretch out. All around, I love the shoe and will probably buy this style again when I wear this pair out.

I have wide feet but if I get a size larger, Doc Martens fit fine, with a little breaking in. Quality unbeatable as I still have the Docs I bought in 1998 and 2006.

I shopped a lot during the holidays through Zappos, including a wrong color and the service was great - will continue to shop with Zappos.

Great shoe as most Dr. Martens are. Came as advertised, dark brown slightly distressed leather upper with muted yellow stitching attaching sole. However, did manage to scuff toe in first 2 hours wearing them.

This is my first pair and I knew immediately that I had a winner. I thought they looked clunky, but when I put them on my feet, clunky made no difference. No break-in period needed. They do not scuff easily and feel like I have had them always. I will buy more.

Had an older pair of Docs that was worn down. Bought these to replace them and was happily surprised that they were the most comfortable pair of Dr. Martens I've worn.

This might be the most comfortable shoe I own! All materials seem very high quality and, overall, I am very happy with this shoe. Fits great, but seems a little wide. Only 4 stars on style because I thought it looked "dressier" in the picture than it really is. I can wear this with business casual (clinic attire) but wouldn't wear them with a suit or for a dressier function.

Very comfortable, no break in period to worry about. They just keep getting better and better.

A workhorse shoe that lasts repeated wearings for quite a long time. Well made and comfortable.

Visited Kyoto, Japan last fall and needed a comfortable, good looking slip-on for the miles of walking and ease of slipping on and off. This shoe is spectacular for going the extra mile and really comfortable all day long. Who needs those laces? And with the right length hem they look sharp. They're easy to care for and will last forever from what I can determine after wearing them for a year. Best travel shoe I have ever worn besides bare feet on a sandy beach....

Good looking solid shoe. Wish I would have gotten a full size smaller though. Feel like I'm swimming in them 6 months later.

My husband bought these for our trip to Europe last summer. I don't think we ever walked more in our lives - yet his feet never bothered him. I think the extra-thick rubber sole adds to the comfort and durability of these shoes. Plus, they look great!

Excellent. Nice comfortable fit from day 1. Can walk several miles in them and they feel great -- even a year later. Looks professional for at an office but casual enough to wear with jeans.

Comfortable, I walk 8 hours a day in these shoes and the comfort is amazing. Totally slip resistant on slick, water covered floors. Easy to walk in and durable. Easy to clean as well. Would buy another pair, but they probably will not wear out in a very long time.

This item was a last minute add-on to the Christmas list and there wasn't much time for delivery. The item was exactly what was wanted, the size and color were available, and the shipping response was fantastic. I would recommend this site to anyone - the service was great.

I've never written a a shoe review before but I felt compelled to write one for this shoe. Overall, it is the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn. These shoes are like wearing slippers! In addition, they look great with jeans or pants. For slip-ons, they fit snugly and are true to size. This is my second pair of Dr. M's. My first pair was not nearly as comfortable but are nearly indestructible. Since these shoes are so easy to polish, I bet they will last forever.

Insanely great shoes! I wear a US 10.5 and ordered the 10. Fit perfectly. These are the most incredibly comfortable shoes one could imagine, and they look cool, but do not expect them to be waterproof. They aren't. I've got to figure out something to take care of that. Great shoes!

These are great shoes. I bought a pair of these in black and a pair of Tevins in brown. These shoes are replacing two pairs of Dr. Martens slip-on shoes (model no longer made) I bought almost 6 years ago; I wore these things like crazy and you can tell by looking at them, but they are still 100% in tact and free of holes. The new shoes (Orson and Tevin) appear they will last just as long. I was a little disappointed in the lack of 1\/2 sizes. I typically wear a size 10.5 (Timberland, Nike, Puma, Teva), so I ordered the Dr. Martens in size 11, but they felt 1\/2 to 1 full size too big... I had to get the size 10.

These shoes are great! I am going to buy more of these for Christmas presents for my family.

I love these shoes. I've worn Doc Marten boots for about 10 years now. This is my first pair of low-tops or loafers. They're even more comfortable than my boots have been, and they come on and off very easily. My only complaint is that they look a bit wide. But they're so comfortable I wouldn't let that stop you from buying them. And the price? Good, considering they're built like all Docs and will last you years of daily use.
