Gorgeous Sweater - Great sweater. I grew up in Alaska's "Little Norway" and have always wanted a Norwegian Sweater. This is a beautiful one; however, I recommend going up one size. Normally I'm an XS or S so I bought the Small, and it fits, but is pretty snug, I regret not buying the Medium.

It does run small...as per other reviews I ordered an XL. It fits perfectly. The details on this sweater are amazing....the buttons on the sleeves, the zipper and the embroidery on the yoke is beautiful! Very comfortable and warm.

I bought this as a gift for my mom who lives in Vermont. Ordered the larger size as it does run small ( thanks for earlier reviews). Just a beautiful sweater-it is expensive, but well made (quality is fantastic) and will be a family heirloom my mom will hopefully be able to wear for a long time!

True to US size

We did return the first purchase (for Christmas) for one size larger and that made all the difference--great sweater, quality and look and feel. Zappos was superb about the return and helping me get the right size for my wife.

True to size

Dale of Norway is an incredible brand and this is the second Dale of Norway sweater that I have purchased. It is stylish, comfortable to wear and keeps me warm on those cold winter days. I agree with the comments of others about going one size up from their usual size. These sweaters will last a lifetime as they are that well made.

I purchased the ice-blue Dale of Norway Peace sweater. As we have a trip plane to the Norwegian Fjords. The sweater is just beautiful. I have to agree with others. I would absolutely go up a size. Which I did thankfully after reading the reviews. I normally wear a womans medium in sweaters and the large fits perfectly. Love Zappos...their service is so quick and efficient! Staff is always so helpful and friendly.

I've been eyeing Dale of Norway sweaters for years, and finally got this one as a gift. I wholly agree with the other reviewer, who writes that the sweater fits on the small side. It definitely does. I am almost always a size small (4-6), and tried this in a small, certain that it would fit. It was a touch tight in the arms and too short in the torso and sleeves. The medium is far better and fits me perfectly. Dale of Norway doesn't make a woman's XS, so I think the size small really is more like a XS or for those who are size 2. The knit is dense, so there really isn't much give in this sweater. I could have got away with the small only if it had been longer. If you're tall, like me (5'8"+), forget about the woman's size small unless you want to look like you're wearing your kid sister's sweater. I love the quality and craftsmanship that goes into the Dale of Norway brand.
