I bought this shoe in black suede and love it. I'm an 8 and ordered both the 8 and the 8.5 for comparison. The 8.5 was too long and was slipping on my heels. The 8 was a little snug (they are on the narrow side), but after several wearings, they fit fine as suede tends to stretch. Very comfy, almost like wearing slippers. Like the reviewer in Boston, these are my "go to" shoes and look great with jeans. As always, Zappos customer service is the best and the return of the 8.5 was a breeze!

Finally! I am keeping these! I have ordered and returned a handful of ballet flats. They always have some sort of problem. This was more than I wanted to spend on flats, but after so many tries I now realize these are worth it. They are comfortable, classy, and well-made. I am keeping them. I am usually a size 7 in close-toed shoes and a 6½ in open-toed shoes, I bought these in a 7 and they are perfect (I did not have to order up a half size as all other flats require). My feet are medium width and the width of these shoes are fine (contrary to what other reviews suggest). I got them in the yellow and am pleased with the color, it is saturated and will give a subtle pop of color to neutral, or otherwise boring, outfits. Thanks Zappos, you are my favorite online store and make my shopping experience so much better.

Great shoe. Excellent quality! Very sharp looking shoe which isn't always the case with ballerina flats or driving shoes. I love these shoes and I've already started buying more outfits to wear them with!

This is the tenth pair of Elie Tahari Driver that I have purchased in the last 11 months. Beauty and comfort!

Love the look of this shoe, but it isn't styled for a wider foot. I couldn't see from your website photo that the shoe is so 'pointy.' The fit was a little snug (I could order a half size larger, but the 'pointiness' would still look silly on my foot). As a point of reference, I usually wear a 9.5 medium shoe. Hope Elie Tahari will design a similarly styled shoe for a less slender foot!

Decided to spend a bit (actually a lot) more on a pair of flats than I usually do. Well, they are worth it. Like the other reviewers noted, the shoe is somewhat tight when you first wear it. Now I find them very comfortable to slip on. They are really beautiful shoes, glad I purchased them.

Love these shoes. I just recently decided it's time to add some flats to my mostly-high heeled collection. These are pretty, comfy and versatile. I am usually an 8 with pumps and 7 1/2 in flats, but ordered the 8. It could be a tad bit smaller but I think the 7 1/2 would've been tight. I figure I can always add a heel cushion if it gets loose. Well worth the money.

Fantastic - The is my third, yellow, azalea & bisque, pair of the Janine driver shoes. The most comfortable, walk-all-day shoe I've ever owned. At first, they may be a little tight but stretch to fit your foot very soon. Otherwise, spray a little water where they're tight and wear them awhile, advice from an experienced shoe salesman. I have a sore spot where bunions begin. No problem with this shoe. It's a cushy walk. The leather is soft and molds to your foot, sizing reliable, the shoe expensive looking, others are beginning to copy the sole. If you buy no other shoe, your feet deserve a pair of these! Go for it! Worth every penny. What a difference between a Tahari and any other flat.

The best -- I had tried them on in a store but didn't like the color. This metallic goes with everything. Wore them non-stop during a trip to Paris -- not a single blister, had great support for a ballet style shoe. And I fit in.

Luxurious, comfortable & stylish! Bought a pair of green ones at a high end department store and they're unbelievably cute, stylish, and unique. It was between the black and the green - and the green looked much better. This was European sizing and I normally wear a 7.5 but I had to go up to an 8. Also, there's no 'toe crack' issue to worry about - definitely recommend buying. These are padded and will give you more protection than those other shoes that are really flat and have no arch support (hence they're like under $50 bucks). Pay a little more and you'll get comfort and style.

Beautiful but too small! I ordered these in dark gold and they are gorgeous but they are a size too small. I sent them back and am thinking about ordering up a size because they are gorgeous on - preppy but casual. Totally not my usual style but it works!

Love this shoe! Very cute and comfortable. Shoe pad in the footbed makes it pretty comfy, but also makes the shoe fit a full size smaller. I have a narrow foot.

Fabulous. Not too much to say about the shoe--extremely comfortable, stylish, compliment-fetching, perfect for slipping on and running the kids around. The padded bottom slips around when taking the shoe off, but it is not bothersome.

Love Them! This is a great shoe! I get compliments on them all the time. They're cute and comfortable and look really great with long shorts or jeans (if I wore skirts, I'm sure they'd be great with them too). I wear and ordered a 9 1/2 shoe and the fit is perfect. My only complaint is that as the weather turns cold, wet and grey I will have to put them away. They are definitely a sunny day shoe :)

Great shoes - The shoe is very narrow which is great for me since I wear a double AA. The right shoe has rubbed a blister on the top of my little toe. Otherwise shoe has a great fit.

Worth Every Penny! So many shoes hurt my feet, but not these guys. I bought two pairs and have easily gotten my money's worth. They make take a day or two to get used to because they are so flat, but they are my "go to" shoes and I always get compliments. Wear them with shorts or jeans and they look great either way. I am back online looking for more colors.

Great shoe, classy, comfortable and chic. Great shoe to walk all day on, I have problems to find real comfortable shoes that look sexy and hip, this fit like a glove, the only problem is that they squeak, but, they are so gorgeous so, I can live with that! Would buy again. Felt true to size and width.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THESE SHOES... I have never in my life been so excited about a pair of shoes! I wanted a pair of metallic ballet flats and had been searching the web when I came across Elie Tahari's Janine Driver in silver. They were out of my price range but I couldn't get them out of my head. They were simply adorable. After considering how much my husband spends on all his fishing gadgets I thought I would treat myself. Just a few clicks and they were mine. Of course Zappos was fantastic! My shoes arrived the next morning at no extra charge. They are everything I thought they would be and more. The fit is true to size and they are extremely comfortable. Heads will turn with these babies on my feet. I really love them and you will too! Happy shoe shopping...

Beautiful shoes with well crafted detailing. I can imagine they would be comfortable with their thicker than normal soles for flats. The throat pinched my wide feet, so back to Zappos they will go.

I must have owned 10-15 pairs of this shoe in different colors over the years and I always get lots of compliments for them. Lately they have become narrower and less comfortable and they are inconsistent in their fit. Hence only 4 stars.

This shoe is beautiful and was exactly what I was looking for style-wise. Unfortunately, it cuts right across the bone at the base of my big toe and rubs like crazy. I think maybe these were a little too narrow for my feet. So these are going back. Also, just as an FYI, the pewter color is lighter and more metallic/silver than the picture appears (although this is what I wanted so that was not an issue for me).

Sizing might be weird - I might be a 7 3/4. I'm a 7.5 and that's what I got. They are borderline tight, but the 8 would be too big. The overall construction of the shoe is worth the price. It's made to last and use. There are pads on the bottom and arch support on the inside. The leather is soft, too. I got the Anthacite color - a pretty gunmetal shade that's a big change from basic black. Love the color. Might try to break them in around the house.

These are cute but they aren't the fashionable sort-of walking shoe I was hoping for. The vamp cuts right into the base of my big toe. I have slightly wide feet but I only have fitting problems with flats that have extremely low-cut vamps. So for that, I have to give 2.5 stars for comfort and 3 overall.

First, let me say that this is more than I normally pay for a shoe. But I am looking for a neutral flat and ordered these hoping that I would fall in love with them regardless of the price. That did not happen. The shoes were way too narrow and small. I almost could not get my foot in them.
