Zappos is wonderful! First of all, Zappos is amazing. My shoes came almost overnight for free! Great service! The shoes are very cute, but need some wear in. After wearing them all day the 1st time I had blisters on my heels from the high backs. After padding with band aids and a few weeks of wearing they are comfortable.

Narrow - Dansko makes great shoes. If you wear clogs and they fit your feet great, these might be too narrow for your feet. I had to return them.

Another wonderful pair of Danskos - It's a great shoe. I picked it because the heel is a little lower than the usual Dansko heel. Also, I like it because it makes my size 40 foot look a little smaller.

Zappos and Dansko are awesome! I ordered these shoes late in the evening. The next day when I got home from work, they were in at my door. What great service. With regards to the shoes, they fit great just like all my other Dansko shoes.

My 5 yr old daughter has a very narrow foot so we've had a tough time finding cute shoes that fit well. In general the selection of cute narrow shoes is very limited and very disappointing. I turned to Zappos and the online reviews to help me find a brand or style of shoe that ran narrow. They recommended Kid Express, Jumping Jacks and Petit shoes. We ordered both Kid Express- Charlotte in Pink (we ordered one size larger b/c this brand ran small) and Jumping Jacks Petal in Pink (true to size). We went with the Petal pink Jumping Jacks b/c she was able to pull the strap tighter across her foot. She really liked both pairs and it was a tough decision. I thought they both fit pretty well for her narrow feet. We are thrilled to have finally found a pair of shoes! Thank you Zappos!

Awesome! I already was a Dansko fan, but even more so now. I was in desperate need for another pair of shoes and they HAD to be good. I have a broken foot and have been forced to walk on crutches for 3 months with all my weight on one foot, so when I say it had to be good, it really did. I was not disappointed one bit, I wore my (one) shoe all day, right out of the box and it was so comfortable, no break-in necessary. I absolutely love the way they feel. I also own the Mandolin. My 2 pair of Danskos and my tennis shoes are the only ones I can wear now. Needless to say, I will be buying another pair soon. I’m thinking about the Lotus and can’t wait to get them.

Dansko Danielle, GREAT SHOE!!! True to size, great fit, very comfortable and supportive. On my feet all day and would never know it when I wear these shoes. Would definitely buy another pair. As for ZAPPOS, would definitely do business again. Fast shipping, great service. Wouldn't buy shoes anywhere else.

Cute as a button! (And comfy too) I just LOVE this shoe!!! It's very autumn, very girlie, and very stylish. Everyday I wear them someone asks where I got them from. (Zappos of course!) Extremely comfortable to walk many a city block on rough pavement without hurting my feet. (I only wear them with socks or stockings) High quality leather takes city abuse very well.

Love my little red shoes - These shoes are so cute. I had to have them. They seemed a little tight and stiff at first, but I loved the looks of them so much that I thought they'd work out after a bit. They have! Love them!

Cute and Comfy - I walk to work, about 2 miles one way, on most days and have always loved Dansko's for nice, stylish footwear that is supportive and comfortable for walking. I have slightly wide 8.5 size feet with a narrow heel and the Danielle fits perfectly, it took only one wearing to break them in and get them formed to my foot.

Dansko's Danielle - I like the look but I thought this style would be as comfortable as my other Dansko's. They're not; I'm just hoping they are going through a break in process that my other Dansko's never went through.

Cute but stiff - These shoes look cute and are very comfortable for standing, but the sole is very thick and stiff and doesn't bend much for walking. I'm hoping they'll break in a bit. Generally I love the comfort of Danskos.

Nice shoe - Purchased smallest size and need to wear rather thick sock for proper/comfortable fit. I am usually a 6. I may try children’s next purchase of Dansko.

Disappointed - I should have read and heeded the reviews before I ordered this shoe. It is adorable and I love the look, but like the others who tried it, I find it very uncomfortable. I have seven pairs of Danskos; both clogs and dress shoes. They are all comfortable and fit well. This shoe is stiff, tight, and rubs in every place it shouldn't. It is so expensive that I can't afford to try and "break it in" for fear that I can't return it. I will return it and while always pleased with Zappos service, I am extremely disappointed in this shoe.

Adorable but uncomfortable - Dansko is one of my favorite shoe brands because they have great arch support for weak ankles. I ordered the Danielle loafers in chocolate brown and the look is completely adorable. They do look a smidge clunkier than other loafers, but the brown multi-toned leather is beautiful and the little bow is too cute. Sadly, they just are not at all comfortable. I couldn't even walk in them in my apartment because the leather was so stiff and rubbed my heel and ankle. If the leather actually did soften up, it would take a horribly painful break-in period. I also immediately felt pressure on my big toes (not good for people with bunions!). Just sitting on the couch with these shoes on was really uncomfortable. The arch support is decent but not at all up to the standards of Dansko clogs. I ordered Dansko Merrie clogs at the same time and I love them. It's amazing that these two pairs of shoes can come from the same company. The difference in comfort level is like night and day. Dansko fans, don't waste your time on the Danielle loafer. You'll only be disappointed.

I had liked Dansko shoes very much, but this is the last time I buy this brand, the shoes are not as comfortable as the ones that I had purchased in the past. I hope that Dansko will not start making their shoes overseas.

SO DISAPPOINTED! I so badly wanted to love these shoes - I live in my Dansko clogs. Alas, the other reviewers are right: these are some really uncomfortable shoes! They were narrow and not nearly enough height in the toe and across the foot. They were stiff and super painful. I gave some thought to stretching them out and hoping the pain might go away, but the shoes are just too expensive to hope they get better. I wish Dansko would make a cute shoe like this but with the same roomy-ness as their other shoes.
