Not only is this slipper snug and cozy, but it is built with a tough sole to take outside... very sturdy, long-lasting slipper.

I work at home and I hate sitting so I'm standing at a drafting table all day. Even though I'm on carpet, I need support - otherwise my dogs are barking by the end of the day! I normally wear a 6.5-7 and the 7's in these fit my extremely wide forefoot (across the toes) comfortably. The Nakiska is almost a mule - the back doesn't come up high enough to hug the heel much on me but maybe they wouldn't slip off the heel on someone who's more of a true size 7. As the lining squishes down I might add another insole beneath their furry insole as it is removable. My boyfriend wears Spenco Supreme slippers and they are almost like an athletic shoe, which he needs for an arthritic ankle - the Nakiska is a floppier slipper but is still supportive. If you have bad foot issues you might want something more like the Spenco. The Nikiska warm and cozy and I love the way they look - I'm going to wear the heck outta these!

Thought they would be awesome seeing all the reviews. I have a narrow heal so my heel slips up and down while walking. With or without socks and I tried two different sizes as well. The shoe itself it comfy but the slipping would drive me nuts. Going to try the slides.

I really like the style of the Nakiska! It does keep your feet warm. They are very well made, and stitching is durable. The only beaf I have with the slipper is the wool does wear down. They are still keeping my feet warm, but they can be hard to keep on when walking upward, stairs etc.. I needed them for 2 main reasons. 1. For the warmth 2. For the width. My feet tend to swell and they are great for that. They have a little arch support when the wool is still fluffy. I am thinking about getting Ugg insoles when the really wear down. These slippers will last forever! I am happy with them for what I bought them for. And as always, Zappos rocks!!!!

I've been wearing $35 slipper moccasins for 2 years now and decided I should invest in a better slipper since I wear them non stop at home in the colder months. These slippers are super comfortable and warm with great support. My only surprise was how quickly the shearling packed down. I wore these for 3 days and now have to wear them with socks of they slip off.

This is a wonderfully comfortable slipper that is perfect for my problem feet that are sensitive to pressure and need lots of padding. I love the durability and good construction of the exterior suede and the rubber bottom which is great for stepping outside to get the newspaper or take out the trash. The one downside (which is why I took off one star) is that the artificial fleece that lines the interior and decorates the outside was not durable to the wear and tear of rubbing on the sides, so wore out and looked very ugly after about a year while the rest of the slipper was going strong. I gave it four stars for style because it's cute and great for hanging around the house but not meant to be fashionable. However overall it is a wonderful slipper so I am ordering a new pair to replace the old ones! Highly recommend.

I usually wear a 9 or 9.5, I ordered a 9. It feels a little snug with socks, perfect without. I was debating exchanging for a 10, but I think I will just stick with the 9-- in hopes that perhaps the fluff will flatten out a little and then they will be a perfect size.

Was hoping for a little more arch support.. but the overall comfort and warmth of these slippers won me over. They stay on my heel, are supportive and are warm without being too hot. Love them!

As per doctor's orders to wear a hard-soled slipper in the house due to a foot condition, the hunt was on! I have ordered and returned a couple other pairs I tried that didn't make the cut. The Sorel is firm with the indoor-outdoor sole, the lining is soft (although I have some concern as it does seem to pack down quickly); and my 9-year-old granddaughter proclaimed them cute! This is the most I ever spent on a pair of slippers, but it's worth it for the comfort and stability.

These are great house slippers, and I've worn them everyday since receiving them in the mail. The arch support is much better than typical slippers, but the cushion does unfortunately wear down some. However, it's still better than any other slipper I've owned. They fit true to size and the bottom sole is durable. I love the pink accents on the shale color too!

Although the color is a little more drab then I wanted (I got the Hawk) they are great slippers. I wear a 6/6.5 and got a 7. They are a little big but that makes sense because sometimes I wear them with fluffy socks.

I like them okay. They are certainly good quality, and if I had it to do over again, I don't think I would have returned them. The problem with this style of slipper is that while the open back is supposed to let your foot feel warm in the front and not too warm in the back, the wool inside still makes my foot so warm that my foot sweats inside and then feels wet and cold. I don't remember that happening with my Uggs. But the wool inside the Uggs was completely worn out after two years, which seemed too soon so I switched brands. Also, this style is deadly to wear in the winter, again due to the open back, because it's so easy to slide the shoes across the floor, and shuffle along, creating tons of static electricity - exactly what you want right before you go to touch a light switch. Now that I've proof read this, why did I keep these?

These slippers are great, although not as structured as I expected based on other reviews. They are very flat, with no difference in heel height - a teeny bit can be comfortable - and I can't really feel any kind of arch support. I do love the style and how warm they are, though, and will definitely be wearing them to death once my feet return to their usual size (I'm 37 weeks pregnant!).

Warm cozy and good looking! Although the arch support is NOT there as some other reviewers have stated there was. I have terrible arthritis in my right foot and was able to add arch support thanks to Dr. Scholls. Now they're perfect!

The slippers are so comfortable. They are more structured that expected but just fine. The bottoms are rubber so a quick run outside for a dog walk is okay. My feet do get a little hot and sweaty when worn for too long but putting them on on a cold morning is comforting.

This is my second pair of Nakiskas, and I'm very happy with them. After my first pair wore out (it took years) I got a pair of Qwarubas, which were more expensive and fell apart in 2 years.

I have worn these almost constantly when I'm in the house ever since I got them - they are very comfortable and they work for my feet which have very high insteps. The footbed is removable and can be replaced - a great plus as far as I'm concerned. I am disappointed with the quality of the synthetic lining, as it has deteriorated quickly (pieces of it wad up and come off!) but they are warm and comfortable. Sorel could really improve these with a better choice of lining material. Other than that they're excellent.

I really like these slippers. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that sometimes my feet start to get hot after a while. That being said, I still wear them all the time, including around the office whenever the boss is out. They offer enough support, the rubber bottom is sturdy. I'm very happy with these slippers.

These slippers are warm and very comfortable. They have a slight arch support which is a must for me. My heels are on the narrow side and I need a roomy toe box. These slippers stay on my feet and fit all my requirements.

This is my second pair of these slippers! They are so comfortable, and I wear them around the house and to the mailbox all year. They fit well, do not stretch out and become loose and floppy like some other slippers. The only downside for me was that after a couple of years of hard wear, the wooly lining got too stinky to bear, and the sole at the toe of one slipper began to lift. I still love them!

I have been looking for slippers for two years and I finally found what I wanted. I find these slippers to be warm, and comfortable. The footbed offers some support (I would like more but these are more than all the others), the toe bed is roomy but the way they are cut they stay on and are not sloppy. They are not heavy like Uggs, either. I bought a 9 I usually wear an 8½.

These slippers would be perfect except there is a plasticized tag sewn into the inside of the upper. The tag rubs against the top of my foots and drives me batty! If it weren't for this stupid tag, it would be 5 stars all the way.

These slippers have a negative heel, almost like an "Earth" shoe. I did not like the way it felt to walk with the ball of my foot slighter higher than my heel. I am returning them,

I ordered these because of the rave reviews and I needed a good winter house shoe as I cannot go without some support on my feet. I thought they were comfy, tho not really much arch support other than the fleece lining. The biggest reason I returned them is because they were SO HOT on my feet! I have uggs that have wool fleece linings and they are warm but not hot. These made my feet feel like they had a furnace on them! I guess if you live in Alaska they would be great. I live in Chicago and it gets cold but these were crazy hot. I think it's because they have a wool and acrylic blend lining and not just wool which is generally heat regulating and doesn't make your feet sweat. I feel these are basically a slipper, so don't expect the support of a shoe, and they are hot. If your feet are always cold I would certainly try these!

I live in MN. and am always looking for a good looking slipper that will also keep my feet warm. The Nakiska does just that and a little added feature is that I can run to the mail box as they have a rubber sole too. If they ever make this good looking slipper come up another 3-4 inches so the whole ankle is covered that would be a perfect 5.
