Apparently I have monster calves because these were really really tight around mine. I'm returning them because of that. Otherwise, they'd be perfect! I love them. They're cute, stylish, warm, and comfortable.

I normally wear a 7.5 in running shoes. I tried on the medium, and my toes were RIGHT at the end and way too squished to the point that they would have hurt my feet. I ordered the Large, they are quite big, so be prepared they will feel a little sloppy. The padding makes up for it in the inside, though. Also, if you want to tuck your pants into the boot, they are quite tight around the top. They are ideal for leggings, or any tight pants, but otherwise your pants will have to go over the boot. They are very comfortable!!! Warm too, although they are a little big I still LOVE my boots!

I read the reviews before I bought these boots & laughed at the one that commented that they were noisy. Now I laugh every time I wear them, because they are a little noisy--walking produces a crunching sound like an old snowsuit. I wear a 9 & my toes are definitely snug. If you sometimes wear a 9.5, this is not the boot for you. There is a little bit of a weird disconnect when you walk - the boot liner (I think?) slides up from the bottom when you take a step, making a little bit of a delayed reaction when your heel hits the pavement. Overall, these boots are toasty warm, waterproof, cute, and have a great tread - perfect for trudging through the snow.

I LOVE THESE BOOTS. I read other reviews about squeaking etc. they aren’t loud and it doesn’t bother me… in fact, they don’t squeak very often. They are very warm and so far have been great in the snow. I I’ve been walking around in over a foot of snow in them for the past 2 weeks. I wear an 8 1/2 or a 9 and the large size fits perfect, even with thick socks.

Boots were very warm and stylish, kind of tight around the calf, hard to put pants in the boots to keep snow off pants. Loved them with a pair of leggings and sweater. Wore them on my trip to Colorado; it was about 0 degrees and my feet were toasty warm.

These boots are very cute and SUPER warm, but the sizing is a little bit weird. I was hoping that if I ordered a Large (even though it said 7) it would fit. I normally wear an 8.5, so it really is my fault that they were too small. I don't understand why DC made a size 7 their large, but oh well! I am returning them, but if you have small feet, I'd recommend them... they would be AWESOME!!!

These boots are a fancier version of the original moon boots, which we all know are hideous. My 11 year old daughter thought because they were DC brand would be super cool. However, when we brought them out of the box, they were much fatter than the picture and not at all snow-bunny looking. She loved the way they felt on, but they are so noisy that she could not bear to wear them. Who wants to hear every crunchy step they make? Cool idea, but not so cool result. Ended up getting her Sporto Paulas.

I love these boots! I just got them in today and I couldn't be more pleased. Very soft...perfect fit. I usually where a 7.5 and was nervous when I ordered the last pair of mediums (no large was left) but they fit -- aren't too snug at all. They did have a squeak so I put some powder in as someone else had suggested and it seemed to take it away. If it happens more I'll try the lotion. I hope this will help anyone who's on the fence about purchasing. Go for it...you won't be disappointed!

Beautifulboots, but don't work if you're a size 10! How about offering a larger size? I had to give my beloved white DC Chalets to my sis for Christmas!

Great boots! Since we haven't gotten snow yet I've been wearing them all day in the house, that's how comfy they are! They do squeak, but thanks to the other reviews, it's easily fixed. Worth every penny!

Love the boots! Feels like I am walking on little pillows. I was surprised when I tightened the strap thing and bent the back DC logo. Other then that, love them. If you need winter boots (we can get a couple ft at a time here), definitely get these!

This boot is a little bulky, but keeps my feet warm and the cold out! Very cute style. They were very squeaky. Found out that putting lotion, vaseline, or baby power between the boot insert and shell of the boot gets rid of the squeak!

I love these boots! If you're not sure if you should buy them, just do it! You won't regret it! They're warm, toasty, very cute with jeans tucked into them & super comfy! I'm a size 8.5 in almost all shoes & the large fits me perfectly! I've read a lot of reviews about how these boots squeak. Mine were very loud & squeaky when I first bought them, I removed the boot liner, then I used my silicone makeup primer (just a tiny dot)...rubbed it over the slick waterproof coated areas, and put the boot liner back in & I've never heard a squeak since! The silicone doesn't degrade the waterproof coating, it isn't wet, and doesn't wear off for a really long time, if at all. After doing that, my boots are completely silent! Not kidding. Just thought I'd share that piece of info, because if you were concerned about the squeaking, yeah it's true, but it can also be fixed very cheaply & easily at home! Now you have no excuses not to buy these!

I am very satisfied with this snow boots. It arrived in 24 hours, just in time for my niece's ski trip to Tahoe. She LOVES it!!!

I recently purchased The DC Chalet boots and I seriously couldn't be happier. They are the most comfortable, warmest, and sweet looking boots EVER. They mold to your feet and are amazing. Oh, and they are waterproof. I live in Michigan so we have nasty winters and these boots have definitely made my winter a happier one. I recommend these boots to anyone and everyone. I have zero complaints.

LOVE these boots! Super cute! I wear a size 8 and they were plenty tight with cushy socks, but too loose with no socks. I haven’t worn them in deep snow yet, but for 1-2 foot of snow, they were perfect. Kept my feet plenty dry and warm.

I love my boots! I needed a pair of good snow boots cuz I tend to fall down a lot! ;) but I didn't want to get some ugly cheap bulky things. My husband and I saw the white ones of these boots last year and thought about them and finally found them here at Zappos! I was so excited and decided with the black for cleanliness...I am so glad I did! This was the first time I had ordered from them, but so glad I did! They were quick and easy! My boots are so comfy and warm, and so cute! They have been wonderful in the snow! And they look great!

Very warm boots!! Great to actually have a decent boot that keeps my big feet warm and are also very stylish. Would recommend to others!! The water-proof feature makes me fall in love with this boot especially in the mountains!!

Just like a Moon Boot. Comfortable, warm and snow-proof. I personally don't like the fur on top, but got them anyway because they are less expensive than Moon Boots. Also, there is a left and right, which Moon Boots don't have. On Sizing, I usually where a 7.5. The boot I got was "Medium", "6.5 to "7.5" and it fits perfectly.

These are my favorite winter boots. I got them because I go to school in New Hampshire and I need to get to class without breaking a leg. Just a heads up, they are pretty noisy. You don\'t notice when you\'re outside, but wearing them inside can sometimes make you feel a little conspicuous. I would say the warmth, comfort, and traction make them worth it though! I always get compliments on them, but just be aware that they are a little bulky if you can\'t tell from the picture.

I wear a 7.5 in Converse All Stars, and I got these boots in Small, which says 5-6. They are a bit snug, but it was the last pair in the store and I needed these boots. They do not pinch and they do not feel too short. So far I have had about six compliments on them from girls and guys. I wear them with tights and skinny jeans. I intend to be buried in them.

I love these boots! They shipped fast and were better than expected, the DC logo is sparkly and I love it! I'm usually a 7-7.5 shoe size, and I ordered the Medium and they fit perfectly. There is a lot of padding so it makes for a snug fit, which I like for the winter time. Go Zappos!
