Khombu Russian... I haven't had a chance to try these boots in the cold weather yet, but they feel very warm! They are nice looking; I can wear them with my black dress coat as well as my jeans. I could have used a half size larger, a full size larger would have been too big, I think. That is my only concern.

Crossing Guards Delight - I am a school crossing guard and have been looking for a pair of stylish, warm, comfortable, waterproof, winter boot for about three years. I am so delighted that I happened onto your website because I purchased this boot. I had two other pair of boots that claimed to be waterproof, however, one and a half hours in the pouring rain can test any claim. This boot however passed the test, after my shift, my feet were still dry, in fact, my socks were still dry. I must say that this was the best price I have ever spent.

I got these boots for a ski trip, and I'm so glad I did! They are comfy, really warm, and super cute. Also, I ordered the boots the day before I left for the trip, not realizing the free shipping was now standard (4-5 days) and not overnight. So, I called Zappos fully expecting and willing to pay for an overnight shipping upgrade. However, Zappos provided the upgrade free of charge, and I received them in time for the trip! Thanks Zappos!!

Exactly what I was looking for! The Khombu Russia is true to size, look and advertising. It's completely weather proof, warm without being suffocating, and fashionable without being too trendy. I get so many complements on them and they look amazing with jeans. That's the only drawback to these boots: they can only be worn with and over jeans. They would not operate well to be a permanent accessory to skirts or dress pants, but if you were going to change into other shoes once you arrived at your destination, they're perfect for the journey (particularly with the brutal winter we've been having in New England). Also, Zappos has the best customer service I've encountered in a long time. I ordered boots that didn't fit and a new pair were on my doorstep the very next day with my account credited and the return process was simple. I'm very happy with my purchase and would definitely order from Zappos again.

Good shoe with minor issues. Pros: This boot will keep your feet warm. (They can withstand Chicago's -30°F wind chill.) I have a wide foot, and they are comfortable in that aspect. They are adorable. Cons: I had to buy arch supports. They shed, a lot. I bought the black ones and I have cream carpeting. Anytime I wear them I have to break out the vacuum. Overall a decent shoe.

Get it - I got this boot in black and it is amazing. It looks really cute and it keeps my feet warm in snow, slush and negative temperatures. My jeans tend to have a lot of flare in them, but it's a lace up boot so it's still very easy to fold my jeans into the boot to keep them dry. I am normally a 6 ½, but I had to get a seven since they don't do half sizes. It's a little roomy with regular socks, but not so much that it's uncomfortable. I would definitely recommend this boot. I adore it.

Khombu is the boot! I just love this boot; lots of people admired it also. It looks good and very comfortable, and very warm. I needed to double up on socks because I had to get a size bigger. I wear an 8 ½ and they only had a 9s. Thanks.

Super Pleased! I was so happy to wear them to Lambeau Field for the playoff games for the Seattle Seahawks vs. the NY Giants game! I was totally warm with two pairs of socks and these great boots (even with wind chills of -25 degrees)!

WOW! I feel like I am wearing bedroom slippers!! I ordered these yesterday and they were here in less than 24 hours, for free, too!! They are so comfortable. I feel like they are warm, fuzzy slippers. I have a really hard time with boots. I am very pleasantly surprised this time! I may order other colors! I usually wear a 7.5 and I ordered an 8. Perfect.

Seriously! I read the reviews, but stayed skeptical until I actually bought them. I'm wearing them right now and I could not be more pleased. I got the tan ones - cute, warm and just a little bit saucy. They do run small. I'm usually a 5 or 5.5 and I went with the 6. Perfect. I can tell there's not a TON of arch support, but I'm okay with it. I'm not the long and lean type which seems to look good with the Uggs so this one seems to balance out my "assets"! It's in the low 30's right now (and dry, believe it or not) in the Pacific NW so I can't wait to go out and face the elements!

Outdoors woman - I am an outdoors woman-I love to hunt, fish & be in the woods. Living in NY, our winters can get pretty severe-lake effect snow; bitter wind-chills. I would usually have to come in early from the "elements" due to cold feet! NO MORE! I ordered a pair of Khombu Russia boots size 7. When they arrived the next day, I thought, "You gotta be kidding"-these boots are so light! I tried them on, and was amazed at how warm they are, and how they "move" with you-not clunky at all! I was also able to put on a pair of heavy duty wool socks for a perfect fit! Let's just say I like these soo much that I am going to order another pair to use just for hunting season, which can be our coldest months of the year (Nov-Dec), and ice-fishing (Dec-Feb). These boots are comfortable, warm, durable, stand up to walking in the woods, sitting in a tree-stand, sitting on a frozen lake, or going out to a mall! My main concern was to keep my feet warm which they do-all the rest were just "perks!" Time to order another pair!

Adorable Boots! I bought these for my daughter and she positively loves them. We have the pink and the color is so pretty. They are also warm and very stylish and perfect for a wintery day. She wears them turned down so a lot of the fur shows. I ordered a 1/2 size up since they don't come in half sizes and they fit perfectly.

Khombu Russia - I love, love, love these boots. I got them in pink and they are too cute--I've gotten tons of compliments. They are very comfortable and fit perfectly. You can't beat the price---they look like they'd cost so much more. I highly recommend these boots.

Khombu Russia- Dark Brown - These shoes are ridiculously cute. I have an extremely hard time going shoe shopping, since I'm so picky with everything, but I had to find boots fast. I live in Manhattan- weatherproof shoes when the snow starts falling is a must, I have to walk in that snow every day. These are what I was looking for- tall, weatherproof boots that are nice enough to wear every day during the winter. Honestly, when I first saw the shoe, the heel looked a bit clunky, and the heel color is a bit odd, but when I wear them you can hardly notice anything. And the best part is- I got them on sale. Everything is better on sale.

Khombu -- Dark Brown - These boots are so much nicer than they look in the picture! The picture makes them look short and clunky, but they're not at all! I wear them with jeans tucked in, and the tops uncuffed -- except for the tongue and the front corners. They look perfect if you leave everything uncuffed while lacing and tying; then you turn down the tongue and sides (kind of like lapels). REALLY CUTE "Ugg boot" sort of look! I got the dark brown and they look great with everything. As for size and arch support -- I typically wear a 9 or 9.5 and the 9 works for me as long as my socks aren't too thick. No extra toe room at all though, so if you're a true 9.5 and have concerns about pinched toes -- you might need the 10. The cushy furry lining is SO comfortable and provides moderate arch support. I've had my boots for a couple of weeks and have worn them a lot. They're well made, comfy and cozy! Definite favorites!!!

Arch support issue - I'm a big fan of arch support (I own 2 pairs of Dansko clogs) so I was a little wary of buying a pair of boots that 54% of reviewers said had no arch support. It's true; they have modest amounts of arch support. The sheepskin footbed makes a big difference however. I can't wear flat flip-flops, but I can wear these because the sheepskin itself provides some support. They're extremely warm, and if you're walking briskly in them they'll warm up your feet very quickly. I've got some concerns about the pink color though...I can see them getting dirty pretty quickly, especially with more wet weather coming ahead. So if these are your only winter boots, consider getting them in brown. The look is very cute, but when I've got an 8 1/2 foot and a 9 boot, the calf part of the boot doesn't hug properly so it kind of sags and ripples in a funny way. It doesn't stand tall and straight like the picture. And this is true with pants tucked in. Thankfully the ripples don't look that bad but it's something I was conscious of at first.

OMG these boots rock! I purchased the pink boots; they aren't nearly as clunky as they look! Plus, the top fur on the tongue and boot flip up, making for a nice, high, dry boot w/ an awesome attitude! My feet start to freeze in September here in Michigan; they loveeee these boots! Well made and excellent grip on icy and snowy conditions.

Oh how I adore these boots. The Russia has a "Nordic Princess" slash "Snowbunny Chic" SUNDANCE film festival thing going on. Originally I spotted these at Marshall Field's back in November and waited to purchase them. Seems I waited too long and were all gone by the time I decided to go back and get them. Then I checked Zappos and *pouf* there they were in the right color and in my size! Plus, the price was better. I ordered the tan and they are beautiful. Sizing for me was a tad tricky. I wear a 9 1/2 in a closed toe/heel boot or shoe. So I was at odds over which size to order. What I did was order both the 9 and the 10. After much obsessing and deliberation (trying them on with various socks and my insoles) I kept the 9 with the intention of wearing regular and not too thick socks. They will be warm enough anyway. The 10's were really wide and my heel slipped out too easily. Also they didn't hug my calf as nicely as the 9's and would flop over even if I wanted the upper part to stay put. These boots are beyond fantastic and are a departure from anything I'd normally wear. My husband loves the way they look too. I'm so happy I found them here and cannot wait to wear them every chance I get. You will be so pleased with this stylish, warm, well-made boot. *I rated the boot "true to size and width" because once I got it "right" out of the two sizes I purchased it made sense to rate it this way. The size 10's felt a bit wide, sloppy and clunky on my 9 1/2 foot.

The Best Snow Boot I Ever Bought- I saw these boots at Macy's and fell in love with them at first site... Zappos had the cheapest price. They feel really comfortable and are very warm. I looked at the Uggs but didn't like the way they looked. These are the cutest snow boots ever. This year would be the warmest winter ever... I can't wait for a big snow so I can test them.

Khombu's Russia- Just as comfortable as Uggs. I love these boots! Warm and super cute! I have received so many compliments! These run true to size. If you want a fresh, unique change... definitely buy these! You won't be disappointed!!!!

Amazing! I was kind of skeptical about buying boots online. But when I got them (in less than 48 hours) I was instantly in love. They are so comfortable and they look so good. I'm wearing them right now.

Khombu Russia - Very comfortable and they look good also. We had very wet, slushy snow yesterday and my feet were warm & dry!

Good boot - I love the traction and the warmth. The foot is water proof but the top section of the boot is not, only a problem if you are in deep snow. I am just going to spray mine. Great boot overall and cute!

Awesome boot! I got mine in Pink and I love them! I get compliments everytime I wear them. They seem true to size and very comfy. I haven't worn them extensively yet so I can't say how they will hold up over time, but I am thrilled with them.
