Jerry Hsu has done it again! I got these shoes purely because Hsu put his name on them. These are, by far, some of the best skate shoes I have ever skated. I skate everyday, kick flip and varial like a beast and my shoes are fine. There is some normal wear and tear, but otherwise nothing is wrong with these shoes. Go get some, you won't regret it.

Awesome shoes, good for skating, the only problem was they were half a size too big, so I had to reorder half a size smaller than my normal shoe size, I wear size 9 I had to order 8.5 for them to fit.

Happy Feet - My skate boarder son picked out these shoes and liked them so much we bought another pair- same shoes!- in a different color. He's a fussy sneaker kid and is really happy with these. Comfortable, look good, wear well.

This was one of the best pair of skate shoes I’ve had in a while. The soles are nice and grippy and don't wear down too fast. I skated hard in them every day for over a month and they're still skateable. The grip is starting to get flat and I have a hole in the bottom so I ordered another pair. You definitely want these shoes.

Emerica Hsu - Emerica Hsu - I love this shoe so much! It’s the perfect shoe for skating hard! Big drops are nothing for these shoes! No heel pain or bruises what so ever. Great grip as well! You’ll catch your tricks 6ft high and catch em' bolts! I recommend these shoes for all types of skating, vert and street! Get these shoes if you’re looking for amazing durability, comfort, board feel, and grip. Oh yeah I’ve been skating these shoes for about three weeks and no holes whatsoever I do tre's and k-flips all the time.

These shoes are great. Perfect size and everything, only con is that the bottom on the shoe starts to come off after about 3 weeks or so. Bought my second pair, I don't think I’ll ever skate in a different shoe.

This shoe is pretty good. It’s true to size, amazing grip and feel, but choose wisely. Emericas don’t always last that long, but this is Jerry Hsu's pro model shoe, so go get it!

GuessHsu!? The Hsu came out on other skate sites a week or so ago but I knew Zappos would get it soon! Right when I saw it on here I had to get one! Can't wait to skate them, and enjoy the great service of Zappos that came with the wait! GO JERRY!

Hella comfortable and snug. I have flatter feet and they are medium width. These shoes run narrow but don't worry, they will adjust nicely. I wear them daily, I don't skate (since 1991), lol.

I ordered these for my husband. He is very particular about shoes and really likes these. He usually wears Circa but likes the styling of these. He is happy with them so far and wears them daily. We thought the side panel was going to be grey but it is black-just a different material.

These shoes are awesome. I had two pairs of Hsu's before these. They're skateable right out of the box, after you lace them and take out whatever is inside the shoe, of course. The toe cap outlasted the grip. My only problem is that these didn't come with the same insoles as the other pairs I had. They were just plain black ones, instead of the ones with his face on them. I didn't realize that when I bought them because it's clearly in the picture. No big deal though, those insoles provide some type of arch support, where as the others ones didn't. I'm probably going to buy another pair of these just because they are so sick!

Hsu First Impressions - Alright, so I got this shoe in the Grey/Black suede colorway yesterday, but this is more of a first impression thing than a review. They were surprisingly more comfortable then I expected since I've heard they weren't that comfortable, but my pair seem fine. I skated 30 minutes in them so far and they have good flick and the grip seems decent… that's all I can tell so far, but I feel they will be good.

Uncomfortable and poorly constructed - The way the tongue is sewn into the shoe creates a big bump that digs into my foot. Also, one of the shoes I received had really bad stitching.

Jerry Hsu - These shoes were very comfortable and were great for learning new tricks. But only after 2 weeks I had a huge hole on the right shoe and a little bit of tearing on the left shoe. Even though they didn’t last that long, they were great while they lasted.

Skates great, lasts not so long - I love skateboarding, and walking around in these shoes, they are very similar to the Emerica Francis... but the sole detached from the bottom of my shoe after only about 2.5 weeks of skateboarding... that’s lame, but I’m still shredding them and they skate awesome!

So I enjoyed the look of the shoe but as soon as I put it on I realized it was the most uncomfortable shoe ever. It could be that this shoe in particular was made incorrectly but the seam in the bottom of the tongue just digs into my foot. Also three days into actual use of the shoe, the sole on the inside of the right shoe completely separated from the leather. I hope I can scrape more than a month’s worth of use out of these shoes, but I severely doubt it. This is a weak shoe.

These shoes are pretty narrow. I'm a 9, and a 9.5 fit perfectly. They come with white strings just in case you were wondering. Good shoes, had them for about a month and only a little stitching has come off which is easily fixed.

I would skate like 3 times a week and these shoes were really great, they lasted me 2 months. They were super comfy and I would definitely get them again.

Overall great shoes. They shipped here in a couple days, they are comfy as hell, and you should get them. They look gnarly as hell.

Still wearing them so they must be pretty good. In fact, I have them on right now! Quite comfortable.

The shoe fits pretty well, just a little tight around the top of the foot where the laces end. Seems like it is going to stand up to all the skating I plan on doing.
