Perfect! I've been buying and returning because the toe of the shoe doesn't come up high enough, so it cuts my foot in the wrong spot. Not so with these, and I've got to say the style looks like a Ferragamo shoe! Finally a 'flat' shoe that isn't a ballet flat. I'm a grownup. I work. I need real shoes, not slippers. These have support, style femininity. They are worth every penny. Buy them.

This shoe fits beautifully. I have flat, narrow feet, and haven\'t had success with any flat shoes, no matter how expensive. Flat shoes always gap, they are wide, and not flattering. Somehow this shoe comes up a little higher, is narrow, and fits great. Makes my feet look nice. What a welcome surprise. It does run a little large so I had to order a 7.5 instead of an 8.

These shoes felt great right out of the box. I wore them for an entire day without any problem. I have flat feet, and need a wide toe box, so it is a joy to find a comfortable dress shoe. Not a lot of arch support, but they still felt great. I usually wear an 11, but needed 11.5 in this brand.

I own this shoe in every color (black, navy, white, black patent). As a matter of fact, I have two blacks--one pair stays at work in case I need to change into a respectable pair of shoes for a meeting. I wear the black and the navy shoes with jeans and with slacks. The leather is soft and buttery for extreme comfort. A fave in my wardrobe.

This British size is not the equivilent of a US size 11. I am definitely an average 11 and this shoe is equivalent to a 10 at best. In addition, it is cheaper looking than most other same price shoes; I suspect just because it is an import. I am here to tell you it is a Payless quality import. Needless to say, I am returning these shoes.

Cute shoe and great shade of navy however it is not lined in leather as stated in the description. The trim around the top edge of the shoe and the lining are fabric. Since that never wears well for me and invariably produces rub burns I am returning them. Of course, that's always an easy process thanks to Zappos fabulous customer service department!

Bought these shoes in Black and loved them so much I bought a second pair in brown.

I really comfy and nice looking. I wore them for the first time for my son's graduation which was an all day both outdoors and indoors. It's rare that I can wear shoes without feeling like I've made a mistake. I am thinking of getting a pair in another color.

Good but Inconsistent - I purchased a pair of ara's Bali shoe last year and they were fabulous. They were very comfortable and wore like iron especially walking on New York City streets. Lucky for me, they also run wide. I reordered two more pairs this fall and it appeared that that they were a bit different. The picture looked the same. However, the heels were not stacked rather they were made of a very shiny material which would not have been my preference. One pair fit well so I kept them. The other pair did not so I returned them. I hope this new model wears as well as last year's model.

This shoe looks really nice and would be a good looking shoe for work. Initially ordered my regular size but since that felt tight I returned it and ordered a half-size up. This shoe initially felt great when I was trying it out at home, but after wearing it for a full day at work it had stretched out at least half a size, so now it's too big, even with inserts.

First ordered this shoe in my usual size but it felt a bit tight. Then got it in a half-size larger and it felt great to begin with. The shoe box is very comfortable without looking clunky. However, the shoe must have stretched more than half a size during the first day of wear so now it's very loose. Will try other Ara shoes since they look nice, and am hoping that it's a safer bet to stay with regular size even when they are tight to begin with.

I got the Pewter Metallic and its more like darker and bronzer taupe than color shown. It runs a half size larger -- so go half size down or it will be too loose on you. I usually wear 8 but ordered a 7.5 US and after wearing it for an hour it stretched to conform to my feet. The sole is rubberized so good traction. The heel on the Pewter is stacked. You can wear with casual, work or going out. The patent toe will take you from work to cocktails.

A refined, understated, well-made shoe in deep navy, suitable for business wear. Heel is unusual in that it flares gently as it reaches the floor. Comfortable, with a slightly padded footbed. The "narrow" isn't particularly narrow; I would have gone a half size smaller to compensate, had it been available.

Needed a comfy shoe that looked dressy enough! I was invited to a ship christening in Europe. I needed a shoe that looked dressy that I could wear with nice black pants and a blazer. I also needed a shoe that was comfortable enough to walk all around the ship in - including going up and down many sets of stairs. After the tour of the ship, I stood around talking to people for several hours. These shoes were great. Comfortable and no blisters! They were exactly what I needed for this event.

A knock off Chanel with better support, what more could a girl want? I didn't mind the shoe, but the leather was soft and didn't give me the support I needed. They were returned.

Comfortable low heal shoe ideal for work. I wear this with both skirts/dresses and pants. These are a great lower heel alternative when you don't want to hear higher heals/pumps especially when traveling and walking through airports. I do have a wider foot and have great luck with the Ara brand. I recommend these shoes!

Good fit with support for walking, but with a dressy appearance. The color matches everything.

I have this shoe in black and wear almost every day. Needed brown. Most comfortable shoe ever. True to size.

I had to send the first pair back to order a half size smaller. I am between a 9 and a 9.5. The toebox is sufficiently wide and is not cut too low. The shoes are attractive and appear to be well made. I haven't actually worn them out yet but just trying them on they feel comfortable. Expensive but I could not find a dressy black flat that fit the bill.

Really pretty shoe. I like them and will keep them however for the price point I feel these are low quality. For example the sole is thin and I call feel all the rocks walking on bumpy asphalt. Sure I can buy some pads for the inside but who wants to spend a lot and still have to do this? I will avoid this brand in the future. Paying this much I expect a higher quality feel. Shoe is cute but I will not add this brand to my regular rotation of work shoe brands.

This shoe is really cute, but I wear a size 7 and this pair had to be at least a 9 (even though the shoe says its a 7). I could easily fit two fingers between my heel and the back of the shoe. I think this pair must be mis-marked, so I am returning them to Zappos. Since the shoes did not come in a box, I'm guessing I'm not the first person to have discovered this problem. Hopefully, Zappos does not keep sending this pair of shoes out to customers wanting a size 7.

Very comfortable but still stylish

Bought these for my 20's daughters in sizes 8 1/2 and 9, M width. My younger daughter has a narrow foot and said her foot slips out slightly in the back, but both women love the shoes so much that they're keeping them and my younger daughter will use an insert to close up the small gap in the back.

I love the style and comfort

I recently had ankle/foot surgery and needed a comfortable flat to wear as I transition from my walking boot. I went up a half-size so I wouldn’t need to squeeze into them with my still slightly swollen foot. These will fit the bill! They are beautiful, well constructed and comfortable.
