Great shoe! My search for shoes that would feel as great as they looked resulted in my purchase of the Birkenstock Bali. While they were on the expensive side (I'm used to thrift shopping), they were worth the price! I knew I wanted Birkenstocks, and these had everything that I needed - they look girly, they don't go between my toes, and they have a back strap so that my toes are not clenching the shoe on my foot all day! I also discovered that a narrow size worked best for women. They are perfect for me, and I'm extremely satisfied with my purchase!

A great Birkenstock for narrow feet - This is a good-looking, well-fitting sandal. I wear 8.5 narrow and the 39 medium is perfect.

Great shoe - Very comfortable. Easy to walk in. Okay for business-casual at work.

I tried this as a summer sandal for the coming season, but it just wasn't comfortable with the ankle strap. I really like the soft footbed version of their shoes, but just didn't like the ankle strap. The sandal just doesn't seem flexible enough for an ankle strap. When I tried walking in it I just felt like I couldn't bend my foot. It is super cute though. Looks great on. If you can get by the ankle strap feel it would probably look great with skirts or jeans and khakis.

The footbeds on Birkenstock seem to be cut for a medium foot, even when ordering a narrow. Would be nice to find a true narrow very casual sandal. With a couple extra holes punched in the leather, this one will stay on comfortably and this will be my first pair of Birkenstocks I've been able to keep. I wish the interesting colors had been available in my size instead of just brown.

I found this sandal to be very comfortable right out of the box. No problem with the buckles (like I had with the Bali's - which rubbed my little toe raw under the buckle!). I wear an 8 1/2 medium, and the 39 fit perfectly.

Great, but - Got lots of compliments about how cute they are. Everything is great about these shoes except where the strap going around the ankle is attached. There is a fairly large metal stud on the inside which rubs against my ankle. I developed a blister on one ankle the first time I wore them. Currently I am taping the inside of my ankles in an effort to break them in. I probably will apply something on the inside of the strap to try to fix the problem for the long run.

I wanted a pair of sandals with more stability than a slip on. These are just like the image. A dark brown with adjustable straps around the toes/front and ankle. As for sizing, I have a regular wide foot and normally wear 8 or 8.5, for these I had to buy 7-7.5 size. I've received many compliments and most people are surprised to learn they're Birkenstock. Great purchase!

I have narrow feet and weak arches and these sandals fit great. I can wear them all day without my feet hurting. The soft footbed seems to give better arch support. I love that they look more feminine than most Birkenstocks.

Thought my sandal search was finally over. Overall, I love the Birkenstock Bali with the soft footbed. They felt great on my sensitive, low-arch, narrow feet. The 40 narrow fit my size 9N feet perfectly. The only problem was the stiff leather that dug too much at the top of my foot. Therefore, they have to go back, and I need to find them in the suede version. Thank you Zappos for your always awesome service!

These boots are BEAUTIFUL! They look amazing with everything! So happy that I found a pair of flat boots that are made with beautiful leather. Well worth the price because you don't want to buy a new pair of flat boots every season and these are sure to last a while! Thanks Zappos for overnight shipping!

Gotta Run! I forget I have shoes on. With the ankle strap I'm not conscious at all of having to keep them on. I teach and do a great deal of walking so with this style I can run if I have to! I cannot walk barefoot and only the soft foot bead does it for me

Soo comfortable - These sandals are everything that I expected and more. Very comfortable, light weight but sturdy!

Birkenstock Bali Soft Footbed - LOVE THIS SHOE: It's so comfortable and looks feminine, which is rare in a Birkenstock shoe. The Birkenstock company should take note of sales and add more pretty shoes and some winter shoes that are not slides. I have back problems that create pain in my leg and foot. Birkenstocks are the only shoes I can wear all day on concrete without pain.

Pretty AND comfortable AND they're Birkenstocks! The title sums it up - Birkenstock has finally made a sandal where I won't be hiding my feet under my chair. They look nice and they're sooo comfortable!

Fantastic sandals! I have to admit, I was never a fan of the way Birkenstock shoes looked. They won me over after I got a pair of the Professional Clogs (I'm a cook - on my feet all day, every day). They are very well made and the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned. I think these sandals are a nice style, too. The toe strap gives them a bit more flair than the usual. They are so, so comfortable. Get them, your feet will thank you! If Birkenstock made a wider line of shoes and boots, I'd never wear anything else! However, I almost always wear an 8 and in this brand I wear a 38.

Very pleased with the service. Received my shoes within a couple of days. The first few times I wore them around the house and the dye bled to my foot, but it has been getting fainter each time. I almost thought of returning them at first, but I'm glad I didn't. Also glad I had that option with Zappos. Love the free shipping policy!

I really wanted to love these. Really. I used to wear Birkenstock all the time while growing up. My mom wears them, my sister wears them, my dad wears them. Huge fans. They are super comfortable, have great arch support and last forever. I was looking for a nice pair of comfortable sandals to wear during my vacation in Japan, where I'll be walking a lot. I first got these in the regular width, size 36, but they were just too wide for me. Not a lot, but enough so they didn't look good. I returned them and ordered the narrow version of them, which looked much better, but my toes would touch the edge of the shoe. Had to return them as well. I've noticed that Birkenstock soles vary slightly from one model to another one. These did not fit me well, while the Arizona and Madrid models do. However, if it fits you well it is a great shoe.

The shoe bed is extremely comfortable, and the styling is unusually "feminine" by Birks standards. Be cautious in sizing, though. I ordered in size 40 because the Rios in size 41 had been too big. But the 40 ended up being too small in this style. I later read somewhere that the soft-bed shoes may fit smaller because the cushion takes up some space. For this shoe, I would order your normal shoe size rather than sizing down as some buyers of Birks often suggest. Also, even though I am a B width (which I verified at a local shoe store), the narrow is too narrow. I wish that I had not paid attention to the note about Birkenstock widths.

The best, kindest to my feet ever, my second pair and with next day free shipping I cannot lose, not ever. I am a long ago Zappos shopper, and I will stay once again!

Really adore these shoes. I was measured at a store for my proper Birk size, and these fit me perfectly. Is my first time with the soft footbed, and I like it just as much.

Love love love!! I ordered a size smaller and ordered them narrow at the recommendations of others. They are a wonderful feminine version of the classic Birks I have loved for so long.
