Good product; sole was a little thinner than I thought but overall a comfortable shoe once I got used to it.

Great shoe. Warmer for colder months with the suede outer and the lining - better than a canvas shoe when it's cold outside!

The first pair of these shoes that we received was defective. They ripped out right by the eyelets on the right side. The replacement pair is holding up nicely. Overall a very nice shoe. Would buy again.

Had these shoes sent off to my son at boarding school. He likes them very much and this is the third pair he has ordered from Zappos. He enjoys shopping via the internet on his end and then having me ship the order off to him directly. Shoe is great and Zappos.com is even greater!

this shoe skates really well and it looks good too. i got them about a month ago, a half size too small. zappos sent me the right size the very next day! when i first got them, bending the toe of the shoe pinched my foot a little but after skating in them they loosened up. also after quite a bit of skating in them, i do have a hole that just barely goes all the way through where i ollie. i've had more durable shoes but these are still great skate shoes and would recommend them to anyone who likes shoes. :)

I have bought roughly 20 pair of Vans from Zappos over the last several years. I wear a 15 or 16 depending on the shoe and I find that their selection is always vast... I bought this in a 15 and I would say that it's a pretty good looking shoe. One beef, the tongue on these doesn't come up enough. It feels and looks funny. Also the shoe doesn't offer any real padding or cushion. Very similar to walking in Old Schools or let's say Chuck Taylors. But as usual, I remain satisfied and I will buy from both Zappos and from Vans in the future. I have three pair of brand new Vans still in boxes, just in case the Apocalypse comes... I want to look good while fighting zombies. Skate or die.

Okay, let me give you a review of this shoe from a skateboarder’s perspective. On the whole, this shoe is pretty fantastic. The look is totally classic and they feel like they aren’t even there. Waffle grip is the best, these have amazing grip on a board. ON THE OTHER HAND… when you start to skate these… skate them hard… they fall apart very quickly!

Great looking shoe.It is very comfy but if you have narrow feet you might wanna downsize half a size since they run a tad bit bigger.

Good looking shoe, that is a little too narrow in the front for me. I skate some version of TNTs normally (last 4 pairs of shoes) and got these because I like Vans, but the front is narrow and won't break in. Not so bad that I don't wear them, but just a little warning.

Vans Chukka Low's - These shoe's are awesome for board feel, however they start to shred up very fast. That lining that goes all around specifically closer to the toecap gets destroyed. The sides of the Chima Ferguson colorway are canvas, so it gets pretty scuffed up as well. Overall they start to rip fast but hold up well, at least until your next paycheck.
I'd also recommend:
Vans Half-Cab's, Lakai Howard Select, any other similar shoes by these brands.

If you wear different sizes based on brand, choose the larger size you would wear. For example, if you are 10.5 in some and 11 in others, you might want to choose 11 here. There is virtually no arch support, so you might want to buy separate inserts. Style is great, but quality could be better. After just a couple of weeks of wear (they were a Christmas gift and today is Jan. 14th), they are already separating at the toe. (see pic)

I've had Chukka Low before but they've never been nearly this tight. The tongue was too bulbous / padded --I could barely even lace them in fact. Very uncomfortable (despite my other pair feeling just fine). Had to return them.

I’ve been wearing vans since I was in middle school I buy high tops low tops. Love these shoes, the only thing is just wish for a little more cushion but it’s not a deal breaker for me. It fits great and will last me a long time like my other shoes have.

Poor build quality. Parts of the shoe are already coming apart, especially around the sole. Very long, but thin.

These are a little bit of a let down. These are generally great shoes, but canvas and thin. Also they squeak. These are still a good pair to have as backup shoes.

These shoes look good and are fairly comfortable. They offer very little support and barley any cushion for your feet. If you must skate vans I would suggest the TNT shoes or Half Cabs. These are better for looking cool in your tight girl pants.

Loved the look of these and saw they had the Ultracush liners, so thought I'd give em a whirl. I was initially bummed they don't come with 2 sets of laces like the Old Skool Pros do, but what sealed the deal was the pressure point on the top of the foot. Right at the bottom of the laces where your foot bends the suede bends down into my foot and causes pain. I wore for a bit around my house hoping I would get used to it or it would break-in, but no such luck. Really wanted to love these, but I can't deal with that issue. Also, these are even more flat-footed than the Old Skool Pro. So if your feet need good support, look elsewhere. I will be sticking with the Old Skool Pros as my go-to Vans from now on. Thankful for the free returns and great service from Zappos, as always!

I wore these shoes for about two weeks but the color started to fade where any crease from walking occurred. Now on the front of the shoe there's white lines. If I had had these for at least a year, I would understand, but this was after a short time of wearing them. Very disappointed.

A bit more comfy than a traditional lace up. The extra room in the toe box is a welcome feature for an old fat foot.

Love the green color, matches perfectly with my mtn bike. Love this shoe, perfect grip for mtn biking, easy hiking in the mtns, or just going out for fun

Well it's a nice shoe, just that I didn't get the right size which is my fault.
