I have worn these Spencos for about two years now. These inserts have saved me from chronic patellofemoral knee pain that I couldn't otherwise cure. They are great for you moderate to severe overpronators (mostly who have almost flat or completely flat feet) and it's easy for me to put these into any of my running shoes. I recommend getting these if you have chronic knee pain from an improper foot strike. They are great!

I have had a rough 10 months dealing with plantar fasciitis. In addition to doctors, physical therapy, etc., I have tried several different kinds of insoles, including SuperFeet and custom made ones (these were horrible, painful to my arch). I have also spent a fortune on shoes, with varying degrees of lasting comfort and success. No single thing has helped my condition, but I am happy to report that these Spenco Total Support insoles are the best of the lot. They have the right amount of arch support, a nice built in heel cup type thing, and of course, the comfortable padding which Spenco is known for. Wish I had found these first, as I would have saved some money!

These were perfect for my problem. I over pronate a little but this was causing severe pain in my big toe joint on my right foot. The pain was enough to make me dread my morning 3-5 mile walks. As soon as I inserted these insoles in my sneakers I could tell that the weight distribution in my feet had changed. It seemed like the weight was now evenly distributed throughout my feet. I am virtually pain free since I started using these insoles and can now look forward to my morning exercise walks.

Best insoles! I bought these about two months ago to try due to pain in my left foot (plantar fasciitis). I had used Spenco products in the past with great results, and decided to try these new insoles. I am so glad I did, as soon as I put them in my shoes (New Balance 620s) the pain diminished. Within a week of using these, my foot pain was gone! I have been wearing them in every pair of shoes I have, and have even been to several air shows with lots of walking on concrete all day. Though my feet are tired at the end of a day like that, the pain has not returned. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! And Zappos service is the best!

The Spenco Total Support insole works really well for me. I have what are called "hard feet", which means that I wear deep impressions into the insoles and midsoles after about three weeks. These deep impressions under the heels, toes, and balls, of the feet mean that the padding has flattened out in the places where I need it the most. The best insoles can't help if depressions can still form in the midsoles. I look for shoes with a durable midsole, such as crepe rebber or PU (polyurethane). Zappos wide selection of footwear and extremely high quality service can't be beat.

Unbelievable Comfort - I have suffered from ankle pain for the past three months and after a visit to my podiatrist to correct my orthotic, I decided to try the Spenco Total Support. Upon arrival I immediately put them in my shoes and when I took my first step I could not believe the comfort and support I felt. For the first time in months I was able to walk normally, without any pain. However, as time goes on the pain is slowly returning which lets me know that the problem is beyond this support item. I can still recommend the Spenco Total Support for those in need of immediate pain-relieving inserts and with less complicated problems.

Best support - I have to have a good insole and this one is great. I am flat footed and have to stand on a cement floor for ten hours. I give this one five stars and recommend these insoles to anyone.

Purchased to assist with painful achilles tendon due to overpronation. Has greatly helped in minimizing discomfort, and works almost as well as a running shoe specifically made for overpronation.

Spenco Total Support insoles are great! They have good metatarsal support, and a cushy-feeling heel, yet are thin enough not to take up much valuable space in the toe box of a shoe.

I have wide and flat feet. These insoles are comfortable to wear for long periods on your feet. A little precaution before you buy and these fit well in my work boots but were much too wide to fit into my low top vans without a lot of cutting. One problem I found was the thickness of the insole. In my work boot, It was too thin and wouldn't let me tighten the laces enough to hold my foot securely in place. In my running shoe they where a little thick and prevented my heel from fitting deep enough in the heel cup area. In the correct application these are excellent insoles that are worth the money.

Several months ago, I wrote a review of these Spenco Total Support insoles. I bought them to help with plantar fasciitis. It has now been 1 1/2 years since my foot first developed this condition, and I am no longer able to wear these insoles! At first, they seemed great, but with longer use, I found they made my feet hurt because they were too hard. The arch was a hard lump under my foot. So, I had to toss them.

For the price of these you would expect top quality and style but these just fall short and seem very stiff and mostly unsupportive. They aggravated my feet for a whole week before they broke in completely too, not recommended!

I ordered these for my son and he is thrilled that these insoles in his cheapo shoes are better than the expensive sport shoes that stay in his closet! The price is right, too.

I have liked these shoe inserts very much. They have given me the support I was looking for and I definitely recommend them to those who need extra arch support plus cushion.

Happy Feet!! I have plantar fasciitis and the custom orthotics I had made I couldn't wear because they took up too much room in my shoes. So, I found Spenco's Total Support and they work! Also, the price is right!

I have been running longer distances in the last year (10K to 13.1M) and my knees had started to bother me. I decided to try orthotics since my running shoes were not ready to be replaced. So far, these have helped ease the pain and made my running shoes more comfortable with the heel and arch support that it provides.

I have a very low arch so I typically replace the insoles in every new pair of shoes I purchase. However, manufacturers seem to vary slightly in the placement of the arch along the insole. More often than not, the arch of the insole is behind my natural arch, toward my heel. The Spenco's, however, are pretty much spot on for me and are very supportive. That may be good or bad for you depending on your experience with other insoles. Also, these are fairly wide insoles. While I don't think you would have a problem fitting them in most normal width shoes, if you wear a narrow size and/or have narrow feet, they may not work.

Poor SupportGreat Support
I have walked over 75 miles and can find nothing negative about the supports. They are very easy to insert and remove from your shoe. They correct my pronation and make me walk heel to toe and provide the right amount of support on the left and right side of my foot. They are good for walking, hiking, and running if you wish. Buy and you well be very happy.

Poor SupportGreat Support
My retro running shoes look great but offer little support. These Spencos make up for that by providing pronation control and arch support. Great product!

I purchased these for my 11 year old son. He is starting track and is flat footed and horribly pronates. So far so good. He says they're comfy and not over correcting and causing foot pain.

The environment I train in and I are extremely rough on my equipment. They are sized correctly. Style did not factor in choosing this product for me. Will definately be ordering more of these.

I bought these for replacement insoles for my Merrell clogs. These fit snugly and provide great support. I will be ordering more of these insoles in the future.

Used the Spenco inserts years ago at my orthopedic private practice. Just bought them for a physician who had a foot issue and the worked great. They used to be a little softer, which is the only downside to them. Zappos was great with fast shipping and easy checkout. A+

These are very supportive for my flat feet. I have 2 pairs, 1 in each of my flat knee high riding boots. They provide great support and my my stylish boots feel like tennis shoes. They are substantial in size, so they would not work inside a more dainty shoe, but for boots and other shoes with a more substantial sole and last, these mean fabulous comfort.
