Sturdy, non fussy, waterproof shoes that'll make you walk faster and more confident through the streets or through the woods. I'm an 8-8.5 length wise but I normally wear a size 9 because I have wider feet. One caveat is 9s leave too much space between my toes and the tip of the shoe and I look like I have big feet for a girl my size. I bought the 8.5 in Wide thinking it might be too big but they fit me well with a good wiggle room at the toes. It's waterproof so you can't open up the tongue all the way (and people complain about not being able to get their feet in, but I was able to get mine in just fine, with my very wide feet), and I imagine that it'll become easier with wear. Overall, a great buy for this pricey boot. Comfortable and cozy for the winter! Note, I live in snowy Chicago and will use these to trudge through the snow.

I ordered these boots 3 times; same size, style and colour. The first time the left boot was significantly wider than the right boot to where it felt a size bigger. These boots were stamped on the inside to be "made in dominican republic". The second time the boots were both outrageously wide compared to the first pair I ordered to the point where my thickest sock wouldn't be enough to make them fit. These boots were stamped on the inside to be "made in china". The third pair I ordered were longer than the first two and felt like they were actually a size 7 (I had been ordering size 6.5). These boots were stamped on the inside to be "made in thailand".
I'm extremely disappointed with the consistency of quality in these boots, as the sizing is so varied and random it was impossible to find a pair that were properly made. I'm not sure why all the boots had different location stamps on them but I feel this contributed to the inaccurate sizing. I had always considered Timberland to be a reputable, high-quality brand until I tried to buy a pair of these boots.
Do not order online, try on in a store to ensure the boots you are purchasing are equivalent in size measurements.

Just wanted to give everyone a heads up that these are genuine hiking/work boots. As such they are very very heavy and not very soft. They will take a beating. But as I was looking for everyday casual boots in this style they were too much for me.

I'm a true size 8 in Doc Martens boots. Sometimes I fit into 7.5 for other brands. After reading some of the other reviews saying to size down, I went with 7.5. Received the boots only to find them to be WAY too small! I can't understand why some reviewers claimed these boots were "huge." Yes they're bulky, but they're BOOTS! I returned them and got a size 8 instead, which fit just fine, although still a bit snug. These shoes are pretty narrow without much wiggle room inside (width of my feet is average). They're also a pain to take on/off. So if you're between sizes, go with the bigger size so you can wear some thicker socks. As for style, these boots look very cool and do surprisingly well in winter weather. I went out with them in several inches of snow and they stayed nice and dry.

I love Timberlands. I find them very comfortable with my orthotics. I did order wide based on other reviews. I am glad that I did, they fit perfectly. They are a good Springtime boot in pink. The stiff soles are a plus to prevent plantar fasciitis and joint problems and sore feet for me. I will order brown or black in the fall. As always, Zappos rocks!

Had to order 3 different sizes to figure out my size, my regular size was way too small and super narrow. My feet are typically a little wide, but I don’t usually need a wide shoe. Ended up going up a full size in regular width. Great boots otherwise! Classic timberland style.

I wear a size 6 to 6.5. Ordered these in a 6.5 and they fit perfectly. They are very comfortable and I would wear them everyday if I could. The wide toe box and arch support feel amazing, and the lug soles and stable for winter walking. I am excited that they are waterproof too. The padded collar around the ankle made them quite comfy out of the box and I had no break-in time.
I love the darker leather as opposed to the usual Timberland "yellow." The color is gorgeous and scuffs buffed right out of them. I look forward to wearing them for a long time.
I highly recommend them!

Classic, you can't go wrong with a pair of Tims. I normally wear a 9.5 and Ihave wide feet. I ordered a 8.5 wide and it worked. Granted I can only wear trouser or other thin socks. Which is fine because these are water proof and warm without any extra clunkiness.

I had high expectations for these boots and they did not dissapoint! Great quality and they hold up well in snow and rain. With a little waterproof spray (also bought on the Timberland website), you can't even tell they were wet. I know I'll have these boots for a long time; they're well worth the investment!! Also, the brown color looks really nice with blue and black jeans.

I had my first pair at aged 15. 38 years later I am still wearing this style. This is a diehard boot. Love the fit I have a narrow foot and don't have to wear an extra pair of socks. I am a landscaper and in mud, water, sand, fertilizer, you name it easy to clean and look great again. I highly recommend this product.
Oh buy the way this is probably about my 23rd pair. Have had them in every color.
That speaks for itself !!

Originally I ordered Timberlands Teddy Fleece Fold- Down in my normal Size 8 W, got them looked at them tried them on and nope they were too tight. Going through Zappos and reading the reviews and suggestions I then requested 6" Premium and as some reviewers said this boot runs small, I ordered them in 8½ Wide and you guessed it - too big. I am starting to sound like Goldilocks here I know. A fast call to the 800 number and I request and 8W and they are perfect! And I got them in perfect timing as we are expecting a major snow storm today! Zappos you totally rock!

These Timberland boots fit very well and would I'm sure have become quite comfortable once broken in; I also loved, loved, loved the fact that the lining is 100% leather! (My feet cannot abide those squooshy fake fiber linings. ) There was a wrinkle in the leather lining by the ankle on this particular pair that would have necessitated an exchange for a replacement pair. As it was, I decided to go with a pair of Merrells, instead, because the Timberlands were so much heavier. One day perhaps I'll try these again. (Also really liked the black-with-black-sole look of this pair: much dressier than brown with tan sole.)
I'd also recommend:
Merrell

This is pure nostalgia and functionality for me. Everyone wanted/wore classic Timberlands when I was a teenager. As an adult, I appreciate the versatility of the boot. I also needed a reliable and waterproof boot that I could wear with jeans as well as sweats without looking like I was going for a trek in the woods. I'm also a huge fan of their Chelsea style boots. Love my Timberlands!

I decided to buy a new pair of winter boots since my previous pair (from a different brand) kept giving me blisters. One of my professors used to be a Timberland exec and he always raved about the quality of the shoes, so I decided to try them out.
I ordered 2 different styles of winter boots, each in 2 sizes. I didn't love the roll-top boots, so those promptly got returned. I ended up keeping the size 9 of the 6" waterproof -- the boots had a clean look and the leather is well sewn and finished, I've worn them to work and they don't look out of place with my button-up shirt and slacks. The boots feel a little heavy while wearing them, but honestly I prefer that since they feel more durable and rugged. I've since worn the boots both with and without thick winter socks and had no problems. They were comfortable from Day 1 and haven't given me blisters.
My biggest gripe is that the shoelaces are too short - even when I lace the boots as tightly as possible, I am left with maybe 3-4" of lace to tie with. The 6" roll-top boots I returned had longer laces than these despite having a similar style, so this was a disappointment.

I walk 2 miles in the park with my dog nearly every day. These boots are warm, waterproof and provide excellent traction. I have had Sorel and UGG boots but they 1. Are not actually waterproof 2. Not durable. Timberlands are really the best boot. Mine are well-used!

I cannot say enough how much I LOVE these boots. The Women's 6-Inch Premium Waterproof Boots are so comfortable and perfect for almost any look. One of my favorite features about this boot is its durability and waterproof feature! Durable and waterproof boots are sometimes hard to find during the winter months, but these are the perfect ones to keep you warm and dry this winter season!

I've been wearing Timberland's for years like since my late teens. I'm now 40+ and still love the comfort, durability and versatility. I normally wear an 8 1/2 in all of my shoes. I previously ordered the Susan G. Komen Pink in the men's size 7. Huge mistake I should have ordered Tyne women's like I usually do but I think they were sold out of my size but I desperately wanted these so bad. Well they were slightly a little bigger than I expected/wanted but I was stuck with them because I really wanted them and I figured I would make it work and order some pad inserts. Long story short this time for the Love Collection I ordered my usual size 8 1/2 and these fit perfect!! They're not tight at all. I don't have narrow feet and they aren't wide either. I'd say just average. I tried them on with a pair of socks ( not thin but not very thick. I guess socks you'd wear with a pair of sneakers. I still have about 1/2 in left at the toe. And they were still very comfortable and did not need breaking in. I am writing this review to hopefully help others to decide on the correct size. I'm glad I followed my instincts and decided to purchase my normal size and not size up or down. Hope this review helps.
