First time wearing these today (Hour #2), and so far they are comfortable right out of the box. I have very wide (EE) and very thick feet (think Barney Rubble) and have a very hard time finding shoes that are comfortable and just plain FIT. My feet don’t bulge out on the sides, and I like that they cover enough of my foot that only my toenails peek out. My only negative observation is that the sole and heel aren’t padded very much (a little stiff-feeling), so there’s not much “give” or “squish” when you walk, and this could become a little uncomfortable when walking/standing a lot on a hard floor or sidewalk. Otherwise, I’m glad I bought both the brown and black; will be keeping both!

I really like this shoe. I wished it could have been a little bit more narrower, but I brought something to make it fit. My summer shoe for all summer wear, jeans to dresses. Thank you for making a narrow width.

I bought these shoes after reading through all the reviews. They are very comfortable, the leather is smooth and flexible, it hugs the foot nicely, makes it look narrow and gives a lot of support. They can be worn with or without stockings and won't slide out. The soles are resilient but have enough flexibility to feel very comfortable. I can wear them for long periods of time with no discomfort. I usually buy regular width but for these the narrow width was perfect for me.Overall a very good purchase.

These shoes are without a doubt, the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. I historically have problems finding comfortable shoes, as I frequently get hard calluses under the balls of my feet. These shoes provide a cloud-like cushion for all-day wear.

I love these shoes. I was afraid the heel would be too high, but they are very comfortable. I have a very wide foot and these shoes fit great. I walked several city blocks in them the first time I put them on. I am very excited to be able to wear such stylish and comfortable shoes!

I love this shoe. I wish it came in navy and brown as well. It can be worn pretty much year round (except in the snow. The small gusset along the top that has elastic has just enough give to keep the leather from rubbing your foot. The heel height is perfect and high enough to be attractive, but low enough to be easy to walk in. I'd buy more if he'd make them in more colors!

Very comfortable shoe - extremely soft leather, mid size heel. Looks great with jeans and slacks. I can wear them all day with no discomfort. Runs a little wide - normally I wear a 6.5 WW, and the 6.5 W fit perfectly.

Beautiful! Comfortable! Super soft buttery leather. True to size, but with the stretch they have built in, they would be great for people who are in between a width or have high arches too. I love them!

I love these shoes. They are very comfortable and well made. I can wear them all day long, and have taken walks in them as well. Professional enough to wear at work. I have bunions, and they do not hurt or rub the bunions, or cause any pain at all. I highly recommend these shoes, and after receiving my first pair, ordered other colors as well. Can't go wrong ordering from Zappos, since you can return, and they have marvelous customer service. Completely satisfied customer.

Walking on clouds!!! I enjoyed my Date Tate's Gloria! It feels like wearing a comfortable house shoe until you look down at the stylish shoe. I can wear these with anything. I would normally have to wear an extra wide 10 but these were wide (EE) 9.5. I plan to order more colors and even pairs as gifts. Thanks, as always, for the quick efficient service.

David Tate's "Gloria" I bought these for my mother who has diabetes. She loves the comfortable padding and fit of this sandal and can walk in them with no problems at all! I recommend this sandal for anyone who needs to take special care of their feet.

David Tate Gloria - Fabulous! Very, Very comfortable. True to size, don't consider ordering a larger size. Needs no break in period, perfect from the start. I hate shoe shopping, but everything about this purchase was perfect. Ordered last minute before vacation with rush order, came on time. Both purchases David Tate, very happy.

Gloria - Great style and comfort, runs wide enough for a med B width for my bunion feet. Highly recommend.
