So excited to find a zip-up boot that actually fits my large calves & ankles. These boots look very stylish as well. Not comfortable for all day wear, but so pretty, who cares?!

Great boot! Soft, high quality leather and the added cushion in the heel is a plus. I ordered a size 11m in black. I am 5'10" and have a 19 inch calf. The boots fit perfectly, not able to tuck jeans inside but leggings are fine and beautiful with skirts.

I love these boots. I have them in brown & black and wear them all the time - even all day. Super comfortable. I get compliments on them all the time!

Beautiful boot. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be any standard sizing with Fitzwell when it comes to wide shaft, or extra wide shaft boots. I will be returning this boot as it's not wide enough for my calf.

I purchased these boots on a Wednesday and they arrived on Thursday! I was so impressed! I ordered an 8½ even though I normally wear an 8 based on previous reviews. I found this was quite unnecessary as I do not have a narrow foot and there is plenty of room in the toe. I have 17" calves and they were difficult to zip at first but they get easier each time. These boots are gorgeous! There is not enough room for jeans but tights and leggings are fine. Thanks Zappos!

I was so excited to receive my wide calf boots. They are so cute. Well, I tried them, on they are way too tight across the instep where strap part of the boot and I couldn't zip boot all the way up my leg! Bummer, I have to return them!

I've had these boots since late September. I love these boots! I wore them for a 13 hour international flight and they performed wonderfully. They are comfortable to walk in and make your legs look long, lean, and sexy. The leather is very soft and seems to be good quality. Overall, a great boot with a lot of style.

I just got these in and they are perfect, exactly what I was looking for. I had to get the wide foot option because it felt a little tight in my foot but I have that problem a lot so I'm not sure if that's the shoe or just me. The boot fits my legs perfectly though, even over skinny jeans. It comes to just under my knee (I'm 5'3) and looks great. I love the built in padding that Fitzwell provides too. Can't wait to wear them and thanks Zappos for the great selection.

I love these boots. I have a narrow foot & wide calves, and they fit perfectly. Not too wide at the ankle. No elastic or gussets, so they look just like skinny boots.

These boots are stunning! I have normally been wearing a size 9.5, but have recently lost weight and my shoe size has gotten smaller. I knew in the back of my mind I should have ordered a size 9, but decided not to at the last minute. So now I have to send back the 9.5 and order the 9's. Anyway with that being said, these boots are beautiful! Soft & elegant. The shaft is generous sized. My calf measures 16 1/2" and these boots fit perfectly! I like the fact that they don't have that elastic gusset at the inside top of the boot. I just can't praise these enough, they are that nice! Yes, I will be wearing these to death! Thanks Zappos, for giving us the shaft measurements, a lot of websites don't give that info. That is a big help when ordering!

After reading reviews, I thought these boots would fit. I am a size 8.5 with a 16 1/2 calf. Ordered a size 9 W and it didn't fit. It was very tight on my ankle and calf. Very disappointed...I guess I'll keep looking...Overall it is a beautiful boot.

Here’s the deal ladies... the boots are AMAZING!!! I have large calves (about 16.5") and wide feet and I have been scoping the site for some new boots for winter. Knowing this is tall order to fill, I ordered a few pairs over the last few months and just couldn’t find anything that worked. Then I got my email that the size I need was back in the warehouse. I placed my order at 9am on Dec 30th and at 1:30pm 12/31 the FedEx guy was knocking on my door. Good thing too because I was on my way to Chicago for a awesome New Year’s! I wore these boots NYE night with jeans tucked in and walked all over the city. The gel support in the sole kept them comfy and definitely dance floor friendly. If you have large calves and you’re looking for a great black boot - THIS IS IT!!!

These boots are awesome! I\'m a generous size 18 and have never been able to find a tall boot to fit my calf. These do, with even a little room to spare. They are comfortable and versatile from work to casual to dressy. Worth the money and worth the wait (it took a full month to get them here in BC).

Wonderful boots! Look great! Ordered them at midnight and received in just 18 hours. Unfortunately calf is not 17.7 (size 11) as indicated but 19, so they are loose on the top. I am very upset, but still try to find some shoe specialist. Maybe they can sew it tight. If not, already crying, will return.

This is a very pretty boot, but the detail hurt my ankles. The calf circumference was listed at 15½" but was actually more like 17½" which was too big for my 16" calves.

I love these boots but have gone through 2 pairs. After wearing each pair for a month, the heel completely snapped off on one boot. The local shoe repair store cannot fix due to its construction.

I had high hopes for these wide calf boots since several pairs of boots I tried last year were hard to zip up over my calves. However, these boots are huge on my calves. The back juts out like a guppy fish belly. They are true to size, comfortable, and cute though. So if your calves are really big these would probably be great for you!

I went according to the other reviews and ordered this boot expecting it to fit my 17 inch calf. It didn't fit. It didn't even come close to zipping. I would say that the 15.5 inch circumference on the description must be correct. I also ordered a wide even though I have never worn wide shoes before and it was still tight in the foot. Needless to say I am extremely disappointed.

I've only worn these once so far but am very pleased. They are very attractive for a wide shoe, in that they look narrow, but fit great. I wish more wide shoes had this nice proportion and fit combo! My feet were pretty sore by the end of the night but hopefully that will lessen as I break them in. The calf width worked for me as well.

Nice boots but unfortunately did not fit around my calf. I suspected it wouldn't but I'm a little too short for the proportions of the boot, I'm only 5'5" with a healthy size calf. The boot extension didn't hit me quite in the right area so I would have to scrunch the boot to make it work... not cute! I'm a tough fit but would otherwise recommend the boots.

I am so pleased about these boots I cannot even tell you! They are just the right height, both heel and shaft and are perfectly accommodating to my athletic large calves! Love them so much I got them in both black and brown!

Love these boots. very soft and comfortable. I could wear them all day. I have large athlethic calves and there was plenty of room to even tuck a pair of pants in. I wear usually an 8.5 and I ordered a 9 and I am glad I did. Would buy again.

These boots are gorgeous! They fit my wide calf, zip up all the way to the knee and even make my calves look thinner. The heel is high and a narrow, but not unreasonably high if you're used to walking in heels. They are a bit barrow in the foot, but I find that after wearing them once they give a bit. My feet are not wide, and the foot part of this boot is quite snug, which is the only drawback. Otherwise, a beautiful and very sexy boot. I wasn't sure about the buckle at first, but am glad I ordered and tried them on. Worth the money.
