I was looking for an old school sneaker like I had when I was a kid, but didn't want Chucks (too little padding in the insole, no arch support). Heard they had brought back the "Posture Foundation" sneaker and tried them on for size. These shoes are the deal! All-day comfort and they look different than your average Chucks. If you want comfort and a conversation starter (What, they still make those?!), these are the sneaks for you!

Way more comfortable than Chucks! I cannot believe I don't see more people wearing these! I love them so much that I got a black pair too. I also got some of the high tops. Maybe PF Flyers needs to do better advertising to get their shoes to sell!

These are much more comfortable then Converse Chuck Taylor's. I used to think so 35 years ago and I still do today. They're wider, have more cushion in the soles, and unlike CT's, they actually do have some arch support. I'll wear these and Pro-Keds, but I try to stay away from Chuck Taylors because they're so uncomfortable. I buy a lot of shoes and I'd say that these fit true-to-size. That's regular shoe sizing and not Converse sizing, by the way. I normally wear a 10.5-11 and the 10.5 fit me perfectly. In Chuck Taylor's, I wear a 9.5.

Great shoes. These are the 2nd pair I have. Takes a bit to break them in but once they are, very comfortable.

Shoes are great, feels like chucks but slightly different. I decided to get a size 7 in these but unfortunately I got a size that were too small. I usually wear a size 8 in vans and a size 7 in chucks, but I believe these run in between. For future customers I would recommend you get your true size or just a half size down.

These shoes break in quickly and comfortably. I can walk all day in these with much less discomfort then other traditional sneakers. I also like the top lacing, makes them easy to take on and off.

Cool pair of sneakers and a nice alternative to Chucks. They will get DIRTY though, but once they did I just switched them to more of a schlepping around shoe. My one complaint is that the rubber outsole is splitting pretty bad around the ball of the foot. But hey, it's rubber and canvas. Overall, very stylish shoe and decently comfortable.

I bought my PF Flyers to replace a similar pair of Converse that had fallen apart WAY too quickly. I’ve only had them a few months, but so far, I’m fairly pleased with them. The very top layer of the insole has come unattached from the heel, but I doubt that would have happened if I didn’t wear them five days a week working as a restaurant server. I have very high arches and narrow feet, so I still need to use arch supports in them, but the sole is much thicker and more comfortable than other shoes I’ve had. Converse have all of the cushioning of a pair of flip-flops, but PF Flyers are much more substantial. They also have better traction than shoes I’ve had in the past, although they still aren’t the best. At least the soles seem like they are holding up pretty well, and will take quite some time to wear down flat. Overall, I would recommend them to others and buy them again myself.

I'm really happy with these shoes. My only issue is part of the interior sole has already started coming up from its glued position. But it doesn't bother me enough to return them.

I really like these shoes a lot. They are much more comfortable than my old Converse Chucks which tended to hurt my feet/back after standing around in them for a while. If I were to rate them side by side, my Chucks would get a 2 and these would get a 5. Overall, a good shoe and I would purchase them again.

Was looking for something like Converse but a little different and am mostly happy. These are nowhere near as comfortable as my last pair of shoes though, and the soles are hard plastic material and loud! It almost seemed like I was wearing dress shoes when I first tried them out.

My (Better Than) Converse Substitute -
My feet are just a little too wide for All Stars and Jack Purcell's a fact that has long frustrated me as I love the classic style of those shoes. I've been looking for a substitute for ages. I bought these PF Flyers on a wish and a prayer —and a half size larger than I would normally, and they are PERFECT. Not only that, the detail, stitching and overall quality of manufacture of these shoes are significantly *superior* to the current batches of Converse. They don't have a lot of arch support, but there aren't completely flat inside, either, so they totally meet my comfort criteria for office work and walks to lunch.

I can fly with my PF Flyers -
I remember the commercial like it was yesterday. They are the cool boy's play shoes that my mother never let me have... because they were boy's shoes. I have a wonderful pair in blue now. Although I have a slight foot injury and my podiatrist suggested strongly that I wear something with more support until it's healed.

Adidas Originals Classic Vulc Lo... the arch is kinda hard though.

Not as much arch support as the sandlot model. The addition of the suede heel on the inside is superior to the sandlot as where this is where mine wore out first. Insole isn't removable so forget putting your own in.

The P.F. Flyer is merely "adequate." It is not suitable for any athletic activity. The only reason I bought it was because Zappos was out of Adidas Stan Smith. Highly recommended if you like overpaying for outdated tennis shoes.

I really wanted to like these shoes and they are really good looking! But they were not comfortable. There is no cushioning at all, no arch support. And a narrow toe box and low instep meant there wasn't enough room to add any arch support inserts. Oh well, the search is still on for comfortable and stylish street sneakers!

They got dirty real quick, not like regular white shoe dirty… I mean wearing a white shirt for shoes dirty. It’s a for fun looks shoe and it serves that purpose well, but too wide of a foot can cause pain and no socks might rub on your Achilles.

So I love PF Flyers. I have been wearing these for years. I think this is my 6th pair of Flyers 4 of which have been Bob Cousy's. They fit well especially if you have wide feet. If you need something that looks classy with a pair of jeans in a semi-casual work environment where you are wearing a lot of jeans or khaki's they don't look like tennis shoes. They are also extremely comfortable. I wear these a lot on days where I am going to be out and about because my feet don't hurt so bad at the end of the day. But yet I still look stylish.

Loved these shoes. Loved the fit and feel like is wasn't going to step out of them. Wore the shoes out because I wore them all the time.

A classic. I'm on my third pair after wearing the other two into the ground at my summer job. An extremely comfortable pair of shoes that goes well with pretty much any outfit. I like the side straps, and the build quality.

Love them! They fit perfect - pretty true to size as far as length. May run a bit narrow as I am a female with a pretty narrow foot and they fit perfect on the sides and heel but have room in the toe area which is comfy. Finally wore out my old Cole Haans and found these, cute as can be! And I had them the next day! Thank you Zappos!

So cute and comfortable! I was worried about these not being comfortable enough for longer walks, but they are great! Only thing is the white canvas gets dirty easily and is a little hard to clean. I've been using a magic eraser and that seems to work well, at least on the rubber parts. This was my first pair of PF Flyers, but I'll definitely buy them again. And as always, Zappos is the best!

I simply love these PF Flyers; they're classic, cool, and extremely versatile. This is my 3rd pair of these is the exact color; why you ask? Because they are that darn cool. Try them if you haven't. You can thank me later.

I like these for their clean, classic look. Great for weekend errands and summer days at the park! I preferred this rounded toe to the longer toe on the Chuck Taylors, and I'm quite happy with my purchase.

These shoes are tremendous; nostalgic yet relevant. They are extremely comfortable while being funky stylish. They take me back to a wonderful time of riding my bicycling and pretending to be on a powerful motorcycle. Now I wear these while riding my powerful motorcycle and pretending to be a kid on his shiny bicycle.
