Teva brand came highly recommended so they were the only shoes I took on a week long trip white water rafting in the Grand Canyon. After three days my heels developed painful blisters which made for a miserable week of hiking and rafting. No amount of bandages or adjustments to the Velcro helped. Expensive and awful experience. Very disappointing.

Bought this shoe for my husband specifically for our trip to Maui which is perfect for walking and water activities. On the second day he wore the shoe, the soles came off!!! The whole thing came off first on one foot and after an or so the other one came off too!! It was so disappointing because we have heard many good reviews about Teva; that their products last for years and years. Unfortunately, it did not for this pair!

This is a great shoe, comfortable, great for walking, hiking etc. as long as you DON'T EVER GET THEM WET!!!. They don't dry well and the glue holding the soles on dissolves!!! Bought these for my husband and they fell apart the first time they got wet. I bought a pair for myself at the same time and the same thing happened to mine! They fell apart on me during a 6 week trip to Chile and I did not have another pair of walking shoes. NOT RELIABLE!!!

Sizes are not consistent between Teva models. The side straps are high and rub against ankle

I wore these ONE time and came home with blisters on the backs of my feet. These dug into my ankles and were painful after just a short time.

I bought these after owning a pair of Teva sandals that I love and had for three years. After having them for a month and pretty much wearing them every day the bottom layer of the sole started to separate from the upper section while I was at scout camp with my son's scout troop. By the end of the week the sandals completely fell apart and I was stuck wearing my hikers for the rest of the trip. I took them back as soon as I drop off the troop gear wearing my uniform. The store exchanged them for another pair. This pair lasted the rest of the summer. I went to put them back this May and they fell apart just like the old pair. I would like to get another pair but I have concerns.

Spent [$] on these from the salesperson's word that they won't give off odor, that was at Cabella's. Wore them about a dozen times and they smell like I've worn them non-stop through the Andes' for three decades.I should of spent less elsewhere, and bought 2 pair. Not happy.

I bought this shoe for my daughter. The very first time she uses the shoes, as we are gearing up for the 10 mile mountainous hike, the lace up strap broke but we cobbled it together and began the hike. One hour into the hike, the other strap broke! Incredible. I will never buy this shoe again...nor from Teva. How can you possibly stand by this product?

The shoes smell terrible. I'm sot sure if it is the rubber or the canvas. I like Teva shoes, however these are a no!

Sole came off after few days of light use. Seems to be a generic problem with the technology.

Worst pair of shoes I've ever bought. The soles came off after 2 days of wear. Looks like I'm not the only one with this problem.

Despite very little wear on the shoes both soles fell off on days 3 and 4 of a 7 day kayak trip. It is apparent from other reviews that this is a problem for Teva. When I contacted the distributor in Canada they said this was not a shoe that there were glue problems with. I'll replace them with another brand.

I bought my first pair of Teva Omnimums July 14, 2009. I purchased these specifically for a trip to Jamaica. I was looking for amphibious shoes I could wear while on vacation. My Tevas started falling apart almost as soon as I got home. The heel on my right shoe came loose. Not that big of a deal. It made a 'flip-flop' like sound when I walked. Nothing I couldn't live with.Last night after work I walked to my car with no problem. Drove 25 minutes home, then nearly tripped and fell when I got out of my car. The sole on my right shoe had come nearly off.I've had these shoes 17 months. They are out of warranty. I'm so disappointed. I love these shoes. Truth be told I own 9 pairs of Teva Omniums. This really sucks.I called Teva today. [...]

Wore these just a few weeks each summer for 2 years. Wore them while wading in shallow water. Thought that was what they were designed for. Sadly disappointed. They are junk. Don't buy these!

This is my third pair where the sole has come unglued from the foundation. The first two pair I have used Gorilla glue to reattach the sole. This pair I will not waste my time, or glue. In the trash and I'll be looking for a new brand.
Need better quality control for adhesion.

I liked this product.Nice fit many adjustments etc.Wore approx. 50 times when the "Spider Rubber" sole detached from the main body of the left shoe. Used rubber cement to repair. Shortly thereafter the right shoe followed suit. Repairs didn't last.Read other reviewers detailing same problem. Obvious defect. For what we payed, replacement should be offered!!!

The shoe looks good and feels good, but after wearing these only a dozen times, the sole fell off. Disappointing considering how expensive they were.

Haven't even taken them for a proper trail, worn maybe 4 times for short periods while taking the dog to the beach, and already bits are coming unstuck...would not recommend...my old Dozers are holding the fort much better after 2 years including a trek through India, not a good replacement.

Not enough arch support, and the sole fell off after 1 year and 9 months of casual wear--I wore them once a week. They are out of warranty and they cost too much in the first place, so I really cannot afford to have them fixed. Will not buy another pair.

Poor sole design and craftsmanship. Sole seperated on both shoes. Shoes were very gently used and taken care of. I would not recommend this product. A lot of money for junk!

Unfortunately these shoes wear out abnormally quickly. I have been a die hard TEV fan since they began and have had a number of their products in my doorway and on my feet continuously for years. I bought the Omnium water shoe for light river touring and trekking and found that after the FIRST exposure to fresh water in Japan they completely delaminated along the perimeter of both shoes. Multiple attempts to fix the item (both through TEVA customer service and individual efforts) failed and I gave up on the shoe. It has turned me off from the brand. TEVA used to be bulletproof and inexpensive. Now they are low quality and cost an arm and a leg. Shame really.
