I use the product as an alternate to my Teva Flip Flops and open sandals. I used to buy Ecco brand and for the last 7 years I have stayed with Teva. This type of sandal did not meet my Teva expectations.

This shoe is not comfortable like my previous pairs. I sent it back because I don't think it would ever become comfortable on my heel and ankle. It seems to be cut higher in the back.

Looking for a versatile walking shoe for trekking around Greek ruins. Once on, this shoe is snug, almost like a water bootie, but it is simply too difficult to put on. I needed a shoe horn, very tight opening. The heel felt pretty stiff on my achilles, and the straps were tricky to adjust.

The jury is still out on these shoes. I bought them because I do some hiking during the winter months in a hot climate and didn't want to buy serious hiking boots. As far as the hiking goes they will do fine. It's the comfort part that I'm having trouble with. I've been slowly trying to break them in. I worked up some real blisters on my heals the first time I wore them. The left foot is fine now, but I'm still having trouble with the right one. One would think with all their bells and whistles I could make them comfortable by adjusting straps. That hasn't happened, yet. I wish I hadn't worn them outside so that I could have returned them.

Fit is accurate. Foot doesn't slip around. Footbed is fairly comfortable. Very little arch support. And the main reason I am returning these shoes is the heel piece--it digs painfully into the back of my heel. After only a couple of minutes I got a deep mark on my heel not relieved with loosening the strap. Too bad.

I only wore these shoes a couple of times. These are, by far, the most uncomfortable shoes I have ever owned. They rubbed my feet and I ended up with painful blisters. The strap across the instep is tight and does not loosen too much. The same holds true for the heel strap. I will donate the shoes to a charitable organization in hopes that someone else can wear them.

I am so disappointed with these shoes. They are so awkward to put on; the mouth of the shoe is too small and I end up stuffing my feet into them. They are not leather; so, while I expect them to loosen up a little bit, they will not stretch to fit. I actually made a vertical cut through the mesh/elastic heel to relieve my ankles. The toe box is roomy enough and my wide, flat feet like the width, but now I am starting to get blisters on the side of my feet from where the side openings in the shoe. Unbelievable. I was wooed by the number of positive reviews and my experience with the Teva (Hurricanes?) I fell in love with many moons ago. I wish that I would have gone with different shoes. These are so stiff and painful. It has been a long summer of painful footwear.

The design of the shoe was great, but the craftsmanship was lacking. On the inside of the shoe where the footbed is glued to the side, a visible cut of the vinyl remained rough and unpolished. It cut into the foot making walking highly uncomfortable. My husband had a newly purchased pair of Teva's last year where the sole just came unglued while walking. As much as they look nice, twice in a row will nix future purchasing - sending these back.

I purchased this shoe along with others to wear this summer kayaking and hiking, both for short outings and longer weekend trips. I ordered a size 8, which is what I wear in most flat shoes. The toe box was quite large for my foot but the length was just fine. I was excited about the multiple ways to tighten the shoe around my foot. There is cord lacing, a Velcro strap on the top with a quick release buckle and a Velcro strap around the back. However, I did not feel the strap around the heel was tight enough to keep my foot in place. I do not think ordering a half size down would help that either. I also felt rubbing underneath my anklebone which was not comfortable to me. I will be returning these shoes. I am still deciding between 3 Keen sandals for my purpose: Newport H2, Owyhee & Whisper Water Shoe!

Is this the same shoe that had so many raves? Looks fine, as I wanted sturdy. Very hard to get on, has no arch support and I really need good arch support. Got these to wear with support stockings but am returning and will look for something else. The best thing about this is that they came from Zappos, the very best online shoe site.

Very comfortable until you get a rock or pebble inside - then you need to take them off to clear it. The original Dozers were 100% better for rocks - just tilt your foot & they fall out. The soles on the Omnium wore out very fast from daily use on pavement. Had to glue back on the soles several times before tossing them out. Very comfortable on the heel lots of padding, but would not purchase again.

The one thing that is not great is the sock fit at the heel. The elastic may well be too tight, or the curvature into the wearer's heel, too extreme. It causes heel blisters. I've countered this by wearing a durable band-aid on each heel. But this should not be necessary. All else I love so I am giving them a good try, hoping that they will 'break-in' after a time. I saw no other similar shoes available at Teva ( and what is that all about?)

Went Hiking expecting cool air to the feet, but plastic caused sweating, squeaking. Was interested in a good hiking sandal with support but breathable.

I did not like these from about 5 seconds after I put them on. They made my feet sweat immediately. They weren't comfortable. The heel adjustment really didn't do anything. I did like the buckle on the front. I wanted a comfortable walking shoe for my vacation and this was not it.

I ordered these (Omnium W), Keen Owyhee, Keen Newport H2, and Ahnu Tilden IV. I don't usually have a problem with shoes fitting me but when I put these on, the arch was instantly uncomfortable. It was way too high. I'm keeping the Ahnus.

I am a little disappointed with Teva's line up this season. All the sandals seem stiff and are becoming more like shoes then sandals. I miss the wrapter style shoes!

I could not believe that BOTH soles from the sandals came off after using it for 1 month while traveling. It was used on PAVED roads and occasionally on the beach (did NOT even get it wet at all) and the entire sole started coming off BOTH shoes!I bought the product because it looks neat and is very comfortable, great for walking in the summertime, I had to buy some flip flops while gone so I had something to wear in the last days of our trip, since the soles were completely GONE.[*].Carol

I wanted water shoes that I could wear in the water at the beach. This shoe fills with stones and sand and becomes uncomfortable.

Bought pair June 2010 and after a month bottom of sole came apart from upper portion. Return to the store who exchanged them for another pair. After wearing them the rest of summer they were put away till this year. Pulled them out for this summer and same thing happened. Only thing I can figure is the sandals were made at the same time and were held together with bad glue. I am kind of hestitate to purchase another pair to replace them.

I ordered these and the Keen Venice. The Keens were immediately comfortable while these were just not. Love Teva flip flops though! Thank you to Zappos for accommodating such easy returns. Saves me from dragging my little kids to the mall with me to go shoe shopping. Love Zappos. I buy here even if I find a cheaper price on Amazon.

These didn't fit and are going back. They are built for a much boxier foot than mine.

I loved this shoe for its comfort and versatility as a water / outdoor / beach / walking shoe. Sadly, they lasted just through the summer, and then the entire sole fell off the bottom of both shoes while in the middle of our Costa Rican vacation. I would have chalked it up to a one-off bad shoe, but the prior year, my husband had the men's version and his bottom sole layer fell off too. I won't recommend these to use as water shoes and I'm done with Teva, comfortable as they may be.

Great idea to protect foot for hiking shore and rock of beach. But when wet they leave black marks on boat. Even though ventulated they are hot.
