Comfortable walking shoe - This is the most comfortable walking shoe I've had in a long time. My foot needs a lot of room in the toe area and this shoe has it, with a nice broad front and high toe box. I subsequently ordered a pair for my mother and she is anxiously waiting to try them.

Comfortable sneaker - I have a narrow foot, but need space in the toe area. This sneaker has a rounded toe and is very comfortable. It has great arch support.

Long Lasting Walkers - I bought some New Balance walkers and have walked five days a week, two and a half miles a day in them. They were finally showing a little wear so I checked on Zappos to see when I ordered them. It was three years ago! They lasted so well, they are just showing a little wear on the bottom and the shoe lace broke, but other than that, the toe stitching is still in place. So, I bought another pair. They are well worth the money and so comfortable to walk in!

NB 576 - This shoe is true to size and accommodates orthotics that are quite thick due to the difference in height on one side. I always wore NB 926 but thought I would try these as they were cheaper. I am very pleased and will get another pair as soon as they come in gray.

Wore these to work and shop almost every day for 2 1/2 years before they finally wore through the heel. Great shoes.

These shoes are the first ones that I put on and walked without pain in over five years. They are excellent for difficult feet.

This shoe is remarkably comfortable on first wearing. It feels good, and it looks good. Also excellent customer service.

It took me a little while to break these in (they felt far too narrow for their size at first), but once I had, these were just wonderful. I have a job that involves nothing but walking and climbing (usually while carrying heavy loads) so I need a good, durable walking shoe and this filled the bill. Seems just perfect so far; here's hoping that lasts.

Looked high and low for a shoe that would be comfortable and wide enough. I found it with the help of great Zappos person.

Initially I chose these because of the price and because, at the time, they were the only pair in the size and width I needed. Then they sold out and I was out of luck. So I would just like to say 'thank you' to whoever returned my size :) I was less concerned with how they looked until how I received them and realized that not only were they not that bad, but they're actually cute. If nothing else they appear very well made. As another reviewer mentioned, they were quite stiff. I thought this might be a problem but, being a person with stability issues, these actually give me more confidence. They're solid and seem like they'll last quite a long time. I've not purchased New Balance before but width and sizing are on point, so I see myself getting more in the future. Overall, great purchase.
