This is my second pair. My first pair had a little separation at the toe cap, so we'll see about this pair. They feel like athletic shoes which is good on a PRT test. The delayed some is good off-road and on good floors. The fit around the ankles is good and not too rigid.

The best pair of boots I've ever owned. A boot that fits like a running shoe, but gives ankle support. Great fit, lightweight, excellent traction, long lifespan and great for all types of weather.

My husband loves these shoes. This is the second pair I bought him. They are true to size. He uses these shoes with his uniform.

Excellent boots! I have worn several different brands of tactical boots and these are among the best!

I work in law enforcement and I walk a lot, I purchased a pair of the Adidas 9.2 boots, they are very comfortable. They make walking and running feel comfortable. They are worth the money. If you have very wide feet you might have problems fitting these boots. That is the only thing.

I wear these when riding my motorcycle on the streets of NYC. With jeans on, the form factor is such that it doesn't look like you are wearing boots, but they do give you a little height. The grippy "nubs" on the bottom of this boot are fantastic and give traction on asphalt and painted asphalt dry or wet. Highly recommend and ride safe!

First off Zappos had the lowest price on these boots! Believe all the reviews on these boots, they are awesome! And as comfortable as slippers!

I own an auto repair shop, and have been searching for the best tac boot for everyday wear. I'd been through a half dozen or so before I bought these. Toughness of a boot, but wears like a sneaker, I can't recommend it higher!

I've had a pair of these for almost 2 years. They are heavy, which goes with supportive and warm. I used them for hiking in arizona in february where they were really comfortable, tough, protective, and supportive, but hot. I can not sit around the house wearing these. They are too warm for inside. I pretty much leave them in the closet during the summer. They are good in dry snow. Good in light rain. They will get wet in slush, wet snow, or deep puddles. Someone said they don't breath at all. They breath a little, but not a lot. I love these as boots. I spend a lot of time working in a garage with 50 degree floors. These are great in that garage, but when it gets really cold I switch to the Sorel -50 boots.

The perfect boot. True to size. I am size 12 to the maximum. A few millmetres short would be a problem for me, but these are fine. A review I read said water resistant, but from my own experience I thought they were waterproof. Truly the most comfortable boot I have ever worn. Usually I like to break a pair of boots in and add inner-soles for that extra comfort. No need to with these, comfort from the first step. As has been said in these reviews, they are a true sneaker/combat boot hybrid. The best of both worlds.

I have worn the GSG 9.2 for about a year and a half as a security guard. I walk in these boots about five miles a day on various terrain. They have great water resistance. They are so light weight that you could play basketball in them. They are designed as tactical boots with special features for fast rope repelling and while I never used them for that feature I would continue to buy them as duty boots. I have yet to find another brand that has a more attractive style with the same qualities that make these my go to boots. Sadly, there is one feature that I am torn over. The tread wears out quicker than I would like. It is soft and grippy which has a great benefit but at the same time it wears out way too quickly for heavy daily use. Conversely, the upper seems to be bullet proof. If you were actually a member of the GSG and were issued these boots for free as part of your uniform then you would not care. But as some regular security guard who has to pay quite a bit per pair then you might go elsewhere unless you could afford it. Foot comfort is the top priority for me in being able to do my job so I will continue to buy these boots. Plainly, these boots are cool.

I have been wearing for over a month now.These boots arrived at the perfect time had first snowfall of 2 feet followed by down poor of rain than another 2 feet of snow in a two week period my feet did not get wet at all stayed fairly warm was working in very cold weather. the support is the best of any boot i have ever wore.the best part i don't have to re adjust my boots all day great on all surfaces.also feel really good to run in .i work in route sales i am in and out of all kinds of stores all day.i never paid $150 for a pair of boots but i will be buying these agian.i little work putting on but it is well worth the comfort all day long.

Pros: These boots are really great. They are very comfortable and light for how sturdy they feel. They are comfortable both tightly laced and completely untied and keep your foot warm in the winter. For a high laced boot, they are quick to get on and off. Also, as hiking-style boots go, they are surprisingly quiet. Most boots of this size have a heavy footfall, but the footbed on these is flexible and quiet. These boots are also quite comfortable over long periods. I’ve spent all day standing and walking in them and they are very comfortable, very tennis-shoe like. Con: The only thing that holds them back a bit is the all black styling. They aren’t ugly by any stretch, but with no contrast on the whole boot, they aren’t the best looking boot out there, they are unobtrusive and a little bland.

I love these boots! I am stationed in Germany and I purchased them to run the fire breaks in the winter. They are warm, waterproof, comfortable, and the traction is great. I wear a size 10 boot, and these fit perfect right out of the box. I will recommend these boots to everyone!

Fits great, very comfortable, and priced right. Grips very well on slick floors, too. Ever since that incident at the Nakatomi building where I ended up with no shoes on, I do not leave the house without these.

Great Boots! It took no time to break in, very comfortable shoes and very light. I'm on my feet working 8-10 hours on concrete floor and I find it very comfortable and supportive, flexible too. I think it's a durable pair of shoes, too. Plus Zappos rocks! Very nice service. I'm loving it!
