Finally - a perfect running shoe. My younger sister recommended Asics to me after her fellow colleagues suggested the brand to her. She loves them and highly recommends them. I took her advice and she was absolutely right. Not only do these sneakers feel very comfortable when wearing them, they also have significant support in the soles and at the forefront of the shoe. When I run, I tend to apply a lot of pressure on the front of my foot; therefore, needing a lot of support in the front of the shoe. These Asics Gel-Kayano 14 do the job! I love wearing these shoes to run, to work out, and even to take care of errands. However, I recommend trying on at least 2 pairs of the same exact size in this shoe as I have found that each pair (even if it is the same size) fits differently. I remember trying on one pair in size 7M and it was too narrow at the front. I tried the other size 7M pair and it fit much better.

Gel Kayano - This shoe fits true to size and is perfect for cross-training, not just running.

Third Pair is the Charm - As a first-time long distance runner, it has taken me a while to find the right pair - three tries to be exact. The Kayano’s have a great balance of cushioning and support. I have a heavier body so it's been difficult to find that shoe that can provide the support my arches need over a long run while cushioning the blow of each step. In addition, I have wide-set feet so the Kayano’s in a wide D is my dream come true. My Reebok Road Plus KFS was a descent pair, but was still a touch constricting at the base of where the laces start - they have a decorative band that doesn't allow for the shoe to stretch and widen. Granted Reeboks are roomy to start with, but when you're getting into 10 miles or more - it's a detail that started to bug me. The Kayano’s flatten out at the widest point just fine. The Saucony Progrid Hurricane is a great soft shoe, and lasted a whole 3 months before it completely gave out. My foot felt hyper extended with each point of contact. Bottom line: the shoe lacked support.

Just as I expected!!! Had Asics before and knew what I was in for. Only the best fit from the first time I placed on my feet till I was through working out. I am a large lady that overpronates and they are the best I've tried for comfort and no ankle turning. I also bought the 1130's for my daughter and she had the same experience I had for not having new blisters, which she is a tender-foot. Only GREAT is what I can say.

ASICS Gel-Kayano 14 fit - Fit is pretty much right on. If between sizes, go for the 1/2 size larger. Zappos service is its usual outstanding.

Great shoe! I am a nurse and work 12 hour shifts. I am on my feet for 11.5 of the 12 hours. This is my second pair. I need a shoe that has a lot of "impact absorption" and so that is why I purchase running shoes. I did not need to break these in and wore them to work the day after receiving them. My feet felt GREAT!! Thank-you Asics and Zappos!

Incredible - I have always been a loyal NB person (1981) and was on my way out to pay for my NB 768 which I thought felt great, when the shoe sales person asked me if I cared to look at the Asics Kayano 14. I had already tried on several pairs of shoes by different makes and was sold on the NB. Wow I was instantly surprised at the comfort level not to mention the extremely good looks. These shoes fit like a glove around every part of my foot. Of course the minute I got home I went for a two mile run and let me tell you I felt like I could go forever.

Just amazing! I have used both the Gel-Kayano 13 and 14. The 14 are just great! They have more stability than the Gel-Kayano 13 and are roomy at the front. My toes never feel tight. I bought my first pair last April and decided to get another one a couple of weeks ago. I use orthotics and these shoes accommodate perfectly. I highly recommend them.

Great Cushioning! These shoes are great if you're only looking for impact cushioning. I'm not a runner. I've had a prosthetic hip for 21 years so cushioning is very important to me. I love these! I needed to buy a 1/2 size larger. I have narrow feet & the narrow width is perfect. Also, the mesh fiber breathes & my feet stay cool. I highly recommend these shoes.

Awesome Shoe! I am a loyal Asics Gel-Kayano fan. I've used the Gel-Kayano for about 3 years and have gone through 4 pairs. This particular shoe is extremely comfortable and worth every penny. There seems to be more cushion and a better "hold" on the foot for running. I highly recommend the shoe and ZAPPOS service is awesome.

Liked Kayano 10 better but still good - I had the Kayano 10 - my first Asics which I loved and wore them for couple of years longer then I should have. I used to have Nikes and always got blisters on my toes; with these I had no blisters at all. Now I run more often; around 10 miles a week and got these Kayano 14s. So far they are great, have great ankle support, and love the front cushioning, I did not experience any discomfort with on my knees and I ran on concrete quite often. The gel was a big buying point for me for the knees. The cushioning in 10 was better I think and they felt so much softer but the 14s are good too. Overall great shoe. But hope Asics goes back to designing the new Kayano more like 10 which felt so puffy. I went with a slighter bigger 8.5 vs my usual 8 and it feels great.

Best support and comfort ever! I have tried many shoes. For some reason I just didn't try Asics until now. These shoes have the best support for running and are extremely comfortable. I am won over.

Best running shoes - I love these shoes. I bought them for running, but they are so attractive I hate to wear them on the road. I have very narrow feet, and I bought the AA, which fit great and almost look as sophisticated as dress shoes. They might be a little shorter than my last pair of Gel-Kayano's, but I don't think I would have ordered the next larger size. These shoes are a splurge--they're so expensive--but for running or just for showing off, these are the shoes to buy.

Great shoe! I've bought Gel Kayano's for several years now and these are just as great. I really like this color combination as it’s a bit subtle w/the chocolate. Very good shoe and I would highly recommend it. I go with this model because my feet are just a little wide (but I don't order the Wides) and I need the arch support badly.

Great running shoe... This is a great running shoe, very comfortable with great support. My only real complaint is that I wish they had more color choices, but that's just a personal preference. Overall a really good running shoe. I would buy them again.

Great workout shoes and they come in wide!

Asics Gel Kayano 14 - This is a comfortable sneaker. I suffer from flat feet and posterior tibital tendonitis. This sneaker provides relief and feels very supportive. Feels true to size. My only wish is that Asics would make some of their comfortable sneakers in darker colors.

Happy - I have been an avid Adidas fan for some time now and was hesitant at first to switch to the Asics, but am glad I did. I have recently tried to get into running, but have had a horrible time with shin splints. A friend encouraged me to get the Kayano's and although they haven't completely alleviated my shin splints, they have helped and they are extremely comfortable. I always wear a size 5, but ordered a 1/2 size larger after reading other's comments, and they fit well.

Tamsin - This is a good, solid shoe for slight to moderate over-pronators. The stability really does propel me forward, and I feel like my form is better. Also good to cruise around town in. Zappos rocks! If I want a certain shoe, and they have it I wouldn't consider shopping elsewhere.

Asics - I love my Asics; they are wonderful and comfortable to wear all day. Because I severely pronate, I needed a shoe that would give me support and the Gel-Kayano does that for me.

These shoes took me a long way - I trained and raced in these shoes for a half marathon and a 189 mile relay race. They were comfortable the entire time. My ankles tend to turn out so these shoes gave me a lot of support. And even running my long runs, my feet never went numb and I never got blisters or lost any nails. By far, these have been the best shoes I have owned. I normally wear a size 7 and bought them in a size 8 for when my feet expanded when running a long time.

Asics Gel Kayano 14 is awesome - The shoes are wonderful, my feet feel great.

Excellent Fit - I have wide feet and bad knees, these sneakers are extremely comfortable and supportive.

Having narrow and long feet that tend to over- pronate, I find it difficult to find athletic shoes that do not look like shoe boxes on my feet. These shoes suit all of my needs and are attractive as well.

Great shoes - It kills me to spend this much on shoes, but I'm hard to fit (11 AA in running shoes), so I take what I can get. They're fairly lightweight, breathable, and accommodate my orthotics without issue.
