I have two pairs of these from past years and I love them. I ordered two more pairs and was very disappointed, so they were returned. The color is not what you see in the picture, they are much darker brown.

These are not my every day boot I wear them every so often. They are not breathable and hold odor. Have not had very long, and already are falling apart that stitching.

This is my 8th pair of Earthkeepers I've purchased. Like the design, look and quality of the old ones. My only complaint would be the sole tread and wear. This new version of the Earthkeepers are not quality! Leather, interior are lighter but not quality. The laces are garbage and already coming apart. I've only have these about a month. Stitching coming out and I'm already fixing. Back strap is nylon and not even leather anymore! Soles that should have been upgraded are still the same

They look like work boots, but don't be fooled. Buy these boots if you're just going to walk around a city or office. Don't buy them if you intend to actually use them for working or hiking.

Runs bigger. Looks worn after a few steps. They wrinkle very easily and look old fast

This boot looks great but is very stiff and rock hard on the bottom. Very uncomfortable. Size runs big!

The grip from the soles wears out very quickly. Last time I owned a pair they lasted just beyond the 30 days of Amazon’s return policy, while a normal pair of boots or shoes usually lasts half a year or more. Not sure how they could be seen as environmentally friendly with that often replacement.

fairly upset. these boats came all scuffed and they scuff very easily, even where my jeans touched the boots. looked good for about 5 minutes.

These boots look great and after breaking in, I'm sure they will feel great. The part that attaches the tongue to the sides of the boot folds inside and rubs on the front of my ankles. At first it was causing a lot of pain but it is breaking in and is not so stiff in that area anymore. The biggest issue I have with these boots is the waterproof membrane. It is not breathable at all. It causes my feet to become very hot and sweat worse than any other pair of boots I have owned. My socks are soaked after any full day of wearing these and that is not a usual occurrence for me with any other footwear. I would return the boots in exchange for a different pair if I could, just because of that. But now I am stuck with boots that will likely cause problems with my feet due to having no breathability. It would be nice if timberland would provide me with some solution to this issue.

Boots feel and look great. However I returned them to Zappos once because the stitching in the tongue came out after a few weeks. Got the second pair and the same thing happened in less then two weeks. I can’t imagine I’m the only one with this issue after it happened twice. Design flaw.

I was so excited about these boots. However, there was a tear/scuff in this boot after just two wears. Unacceptable for the alleged quality.

Nice shoe. Did not come the same color as pictured. Seems durable enough. Paid for 2 day shipping but received the package 4 days after ordering. Waste of money on shipping.

I've walked about two miles in these and they are only comfortable when left loose and untied. The folds on the side of the tongue that connect it to the main shoe dig into my ankle bones when tied. Frankly, I don't understand how this is not the number one complaint. It's instant discomfort and I should have sent them back prior to even walking on them to see if they would break-in. My upper ankles are raw - even with long merino wool socks. I'm tempted to cut the tongue away from the shoe to eliminate the fold and thus the main problem. Why is that even there?? I guess it's for added water protection. I would give it one star but I do like the styling and the scuffed look.

I ordered this based off the picture I saw over and over for the color style. I was confused when I received these as the color style description was different than what I ordered. However the style code was correct. What I received was very different than the picture - instead of a fashionably worn look, this was a solid red leather boot. I was really excited for the purchase, and when received I felt really let down and torn like I should keep the boot and see what happens... but now I'm feeling like I need to return wasting weeks of my time.

This is a great boot that I've bought before but it doesn't look like the picture. Leather is darker and sole is not light brown/tan. Much darker than the image.

I ordered red brown burnished and got medium brown nuback. I called customer service and was told that discriptions vary but I got what I ordered. I'm very dissapointed since I already have owned a pair and just wanted to replace them. Not the same look at all

The boots are nice but any thing you do cause a scuff and I do not even know how to fix it. I wore them for approximately 3 hours and they are completely scuffed. Previous reviews mentioned this, but I trusted the Timberland brand name. Very dissatisfied.

I bought this product a few weeks ago and have only worn them a handful of times. The tongue has already ripped and I am seeking a refund or replacement from customer service.

I bought a pair in fall of 2017. The sole on one boot just detached one morning recently. They look great and leather really weathers well. The real rubber sole is great for traction... for a few months. The rubber was worn flat after one year. I continued to wear everyday for work because they look good and I didn't need great traction. Unfortunately, the entire sole just detached one day. I'll continue to purchase timberlands because they've been the most durable boots for me in the past. This wasn't their best work

The tread has 3 layers for no reason. They want to separate from each other soon after purchase if you wear them often and expose them to weather and regular rural life. The leather is great and they are very comfortable which is why I didnt give 1 star. All they need to do is have one layer for the tread and the problem would be solved.

I love the boots but it didn't fit me. It was to big on me. If you have it I need a size 6 or 6.5 but more size 6 .

Had this shoe for 3 months. Loved it, but it fell apart. Sent it in to Timblerland to repair it, cost around 20 dollars to ship. They sent it back to me and claimed that it was over 12 months old. I guess I could send it back in with the receipt? They didn't even contact me to ask for proof of the date of purchase. Should have stuck with Danner, as their shoes are truly built to last and they are fair to their customers.
