I really wanted to love this shoe. Looks great. High quality. But the heel slips off my foot.

Very classy comfy work shoe - When I first put this shoe on it felt pretty tight (despite ordering wide), once I got my foot in I thought it was incredibly comfortable. As I walked around the tightness seemed to go away and I realized that with a bit of breaking in this would end up being one of my favorite flat shoes and I was right!

Classic look, but inaccurate size - Ever since I've gotten older, my feet have developed middle age spread! So I ordered the shoe in my usual size (5.5), but in a wider width. The shoe felt wonderful in the wider width, but it was at least a half size longer in the length. Will return this shoe and reorder a smaller size if available. I love the look of this classic loafer!

I just got these shoes and I found them to be too small for my big size 11 feet. I ordered the Bass Waylon with them and I love them, they fit fine. It's too bad because I really wanted a pointier style penny loafer. Zappos will be getting this pair back.

Looks nice, however, fit and comfort was not. Unable to wear, ordered 8.5 like all my other shoes and the Sebago 8.5 was too small. Exchanged for a size 9 and it was entirely too loose. Have to return.

Narrow in the toe box - The quality of this shoe looks good, but it is narrow in the toe box and I was disappointed that it was so tight across the wide part of my foot. I even got a half size larger than I normally do, but could not wear it and returned it.

These are not true to size. Very narrow and half to full size short. The leather is stiff and unforgiving. These are not what I expected for 92 bucks!

Poor quality control Sebego. These have incomplete stitching with a hole on top of the shoe. There's defective stitching on the sole also. I purchased Bass Weejun loafers; they fit more uniformly and are a better quality.

These shoes hurt my feet the minute I tried them on. I wear a 7W but these seemed very narrow. It\'s a beautiful shoe but the sizing was poor.

These shoes are a really nice modern, feminine take on a classic loafer. The arch is pretty solid and the shoe has a nice shine. These shoes were easy to break in and are a great buy.

I will have to exchange it again. I compared the new size I got, and comparing the width of the sole, realized that is is a lot narrower than my regular size 10 shoes. I hope you will carry the size 10 wide.

I have bought several pairs of these since 1997. I wear them until they are embarrassingly ragged. Wonderful that they come in wide width. Dress up or down, well made and they never go out of style. Love them.

Beautiful leather. I was really impressed with the Sebago Plaza. It was exactly the quality I was looking for, and the shoes are very comfortable to walk in. I can walk for hours in my shoes, without needing to break them in. I've owned my pair for about two months, and wear them a few times a week, and often am on my feet during this time. Classic construction, classic reliable look. I owned a pair of Bass loafers before, and the main differences were: -I wear a 6W in Sebago, and a 6.5W in Bass. 6W-6.5W is my usual size range, so that is not to weird. Bass took some breaking in. -I've heard that Bass is known for the quality leather, and I see the Bass line offers different price points. I bought the lower price point of Bass, and paid about the same for both my Bass and Sebago pairs. The leather on the Sebago loafer was definitely far superior. -I would definitely purchase Sebago online again. I would purchase Bass if I could see them in store first. If you want classic loafer styling and high quality, get these shoes!

This is the third paid of Sebago Loafers I have bought. The length is perfect and true to size. However, I was surprised that the width of one shoe was so much narrower than the other. I did have the shoe mender stretch the one shoe and now they fit very well. As one reviewer mentioned the narrow heel is great as the shoes don't slip up and down. I don't think the leather quality is as good as the last pair I purchased four years ago. It is stiffer.

I love the penny loafers. And the dark color. But when I tried them on. My feet were swell. I hope the swelling goes down. But hope you can get back of 7 width.

I had been searching for a classic penny loafer, and tried several brands...too tight, too loose, and finally found these. Who knew Sebago made loafers? Comfortable right out of the box. A little too shiny at first, but the leather ages quickly and beautifully. The rubber soles turned me off at first, but they wear so much better than leather.

I just received these and tried them on and they fit perfect but alas...I realized the stitching was defective and there was a hole where it had come unstitched on the top of the shoe. Will be returning for another pair.

These are the best shoes that I have ever worn. They are comfortable, have just enough support, look great, especially with jeans, but are equally as nice with other clothing as well - anything that does not require a heel. They slip on and off easily, and although they are comfortable from the start, being leather, the more they are worn, the more comfortable they become. Due to the softer leather than some of the other major, more highly priced loafers, the comfort is unmatched. You might say they feel like moccasins but with well built soles and inner soles. Also, as leather does, they take on a slight patina, which I really like. I am presently on my third pair (maybe fourth, I have lost count), and I will keep ordering and wearing these shoes forever, or as long as they are made and Zappos carries them. There is only one negative I have to mention about these shoes, and that is that on two of the pairs that I have purchased, the right shoe has run noticeably narrower than the left in the same size. Again, the width of these shoes is the issue, not the length, the quality or any other aspect. I took one to the shoe repair for stretching and the other I wore to let it stretch naturally. Both worked well. Obviously, I love the shoes so much that having to stretch or have the one shoe stretched a little is not enough of an issue to me that I will ever stop buying them. In fact, if they are ever taken off the market I do not quite know what I will do. I only wish I had these when I was working as a waitress in my younger days.

This shoe is beautiful! If you are looking for a classic, nicely made shoe this is it. I could not decide between the 7 or 7.5 because it is a little tight in the toe box when you first wear it but no slipping on the heel. These will last forever!

I always buy Sebago shoes. They last me for years, literally. They're smart-looking and are extremely comfortable from the first moment you put them on. Never have to break them in, never get blisters or irritation. Usually buy from another site, but they wanted more than Zappos did this time, so I switched to Zappos as they offered the same free shipping and return if needed. Just great!

I was apprehensive of ordering these, since I have never worn Sebago shoes before, but I am so glad I did! They are very comfortable with thin socks, and look nice with dress slacks at work. I wanted a good-looking, classic penny loafer in black -- they are exactly what I hoped they would be. I am very pleased, and may order another pair in a different color.

Love these loafers! I wear them all the time with my skinny pants, black tights and a skirt or shorts. I can wear them casual or a little more dressed up. Very stylish, very versatile, very comfortable. I work on my feet all day long and they are still comfortable at the end of the day.

I bought this loafer at store and loved it. I wanted another pair, but didn't know where to find it. My daughter checked Zappos, lo & behold, I ordered a pair and they were great, wore them out, ordered another pair, but they were so tight I had to send them back much to my regret. I tried to break them in but just couldn't. They were size 8 med. My foot is slightly wider in front, but heel is slightly smaller. The 8 1/2 would be too long. Why aren't they all true to size. I love the cordavan. What would you suggest? The first pair fit so perfect.

I love the quality of the shoe but runs a full size smaller. I ordered a 9.5 W but felt like an 8.5R.
