Love these shoes - I just got these shoes in black last night. Put them on immediately and fell in LOVE with them. Super cute and very comfy. I read a bunch of reviews about them running a size small so I took that advice and ordered up a size. Perfect fit. If you are looking for a stylish yet practical shoe look no further. I have 2 pairs of Dansko clogs already and once again Dansko impresses me.

Perfect! I have been looking for a comfy yet attractive Mary Jane for a while. My foot is wide and I walk a good deal so I like a good solid shoe, however, I still like some height and to look feminine. The Nelly has a classic, timeless appeal. These shoes are so comfortable that I can wear them all day and I enjoy walking in them (have a nice bouncy feel). I wore them (without tights) straight out of the box - no rubbing or blisters. I normally wear a size 41 shoe but I read some reviews and I went with the 42 for the Nelly and they are a perfect fit. This is only my second pair of Danskos but I can't imagine buying anything other than Danskos again!

Dansko Nelly - This shoe is amazing! It is everything I've ever wanted in a shoe and more. This high-heeled platform Mary-Jane is not only very fashionable, it is also super comfortable - probably one of the most comfortable pair of shoes I own and surely one of the only pair I can actually wear comfortably all day long. However, as all the other Nelly reviewers have said, it definitely runs about a full size small. This is my first pair of Danskos, but based on the way this shoe feels on my feet, it certainly wont' be the last pair!

Perfect! I was looking for a comfortable, versatile, pretty everyday shoe that would give me some height. The Nelly does it all beautifully. They are easy to walk in and stay comfortable while I chase children. You can wear them with anything, as they go from casual to dress nicely. They are slightly narrower and less chunky than typical Danskos and they do run small. I normally wear a 40 but had to exchange them for a 41. Zappos continues to spoil us with their speedy shipping and great customer service!

Get the height, without the Pain! I just discovered these a couple of months ago, and I like them more each day. I use them for business to provide me the height that I need, and have found that my feet do not hurt at the end of the day like most other heels. In fact, I feel like I'm not wearing heals at all. Go, Dansko, (!) for discovering, and responding to, the need with a stylish and comfortable heel. The only downside was that I feel like I need to polish them sooner than I would have expected (but maybe because I have ended up wearing them much more often than thought). On another positive note, the little visual interest on the toe box is a nice way to break up the shoe, giving it a bit of distinction from 'just another black shoe'.

Runs small, order next size!! I have about a million pairs of Dansko sandals and clogs. I really like these shoes, but I had to exchange the first pair I ordered for a larger size. I always, always wear 39s and I had to order a 40. Nice and high, yet comfortable. I've given up heels forever, so these are a nice alternative. Very sexy.

Let me begin by saying that this is the most comfortable, higher heel shoe I have ever worn. I like it so much that I ordered it in a second color. I love Dansko shoes so much that Dansko is about all I wear. My life and my job require me to stand or walk for long periods of time, so comfortable shoes are a must have. I have terribly painful flat feet, a high instep, and my feet are wide. I wear orthotics as often as possible, but most shoes don’t accommodate them. Danskos, including the Nelly, allow me to end my days pain free. I have yet to find a Dansko shoe that fits with my orthotics, but most of the time I don’t need them in Danskos. Overall I give this shoe 4**** it’s cute, comfortable and versatile, but it’s a bit disappointing in quality and requires some break in time. That said, here are my specific ratings for the Nelly. Cuteness: 5 ***** They aren’t as clunky as most Danskos. They are feminine, slimmer, and fun. Wearability: 5 *****I can ware these with almost everything I own, from skirts to jeans, and I can do almost anything in them. For example, I can dance in them without foot pain and without them falling off of my foot. Comfort for a cute, high heel shoe: 5 ***** after break in. Break in: 4 ****. They hurt my feet the first 2 times I wore them (unlike in my previous Dansko experiences). They didn’t hurt the arch of my foot, which is why they earned a 5***** in comfort for a high heal shoe. They are a Mary Jane style shoe and they hit the top of my foot, near my toes, in a different way and that caused pain and rubbing. After the first two times of wearing them, I developed a little callous, and they stretched a bit. Now they are fine. Comfort in general: 4 ****. They don’t compare to Dansko professional clogs or quality athletic shoes, which would get 5 stars. The arch support in the Nelly is also 4**** which is very good for such a cute shoe with a high heal. Fit: I wear a 7 – 7 ½. I’m perfectly between a 37 and 38. My Dansko clogs and sandals are 37s. My closed Dansko shoes are a 38. I opted to buy the Nelly in a 38, which is a 7 ½ - 8. The 37 would have been too small. The 38 is a little bit big, but that’s okay. The higher heel causes my foot to slide forward, and it’s nice to have a little bit of extra room in the toe area. Also, since I’m on my feet a lot, they tend to swell by the end of the day. A little extra space in the shoe is fine. In general, I find the heal to be a little bit big, but not excessively. Quality: 3 ***. I had to give lower marks because after wearing them the first time, the leather on the toe scraped off a little bit (not just a scuff, but a scrape). The same thing happened the second time I wore them. For a shoe that was over $120, I would have expected MUCH more in quality. I also would not wear them in wet weather because I'n not confident in the leather.

This is a terrific shoe - I have the Nelly in the dark brown and the black. I love them. They look great on and they are extremely comfortable for a higher heal. Dansko should make more high healed shoes like these. These shoes arrived within one day of the order! You can't beat Zappos.

Comfortable and Cute - I have been looking for a shoe like this for years. With a few bunion surgeries under my belt, I have quirky feet, but I yearn to be tall and stylish. These definitely fit the bill and I wear them all the time. Order up one size as other buyers recommend and add insoles or a heel pad in case they slip just a little. Those adjustments made mine fit perfectly. I hope they bring these back next year so I can buy the black!

What a cute shoe. Looks absolutely fantastic dressed up or with jeans a must have for flexible feet.

Great! This is the only 3" heel I have ever owned in my life and I love them. My only complaint is that the right one squeaks sometimes when I walk. I'm not sure why it happens, but it can be annoying at times. I ordered one size above what I usually order in Danskos.

Stylish and comfortable - Another great product from Dansko. These are so comfortable and its fun to be a couple of inches higher but not unsteady or uncomfortable. I am really enjoying the Nelly.

Excellent shoe - perfect for work - This shoe makes you want to walk! It is very comfortable with a nice bouncy feel. Very nice style as well. Highly recommend it.

What a Cutie - This is the most comfortable 3" heel I ever worn. It is great with my jeans. True to size. Made well. For me this is an investment. These cuties will take me a lotta miles this winter.

Dansko does it again!! I ordered the Dankso Nelly as a pair of shoes to wear for dress hoping that Dankso would continue their comfort in a heeled dress shoe....I was not disappointed. I wore these shoes right out of the box for a whole day. I love that they go with everything: pants, capris, dresses, even jeans. Felt true to size, width and comfort. Good job Dansko!!

Great shoe, I love Danskos - I really loved these shoes when they came but they were at least a size too small. I gave them to my mom and she loves them! A really comfortable higher heel shoe that's dressy enough to wear with a skirt and casual enough to wear everyday.

Great shoes - I love these shoes. I bought them to wear to a wedding....wanted something dressy enough for that occasion, but also wanted to be able to wear them for other things as well. I got what i wanted, they can be dressed up or down. I also like the fact that they are sort of dressy, but also have a sort of funky appeal to them.

Wow - I had a foot injury and was looking for shoes I could wear to my first day of working without looking schlumpy - I found out-Granted my foot is better I don't think I could have worn these earlier but I am really happy. They are extremely cute. I don't like to wear heels because they hurt my feet but I'm always looking for height. These are comfortable for what they are: 3 inch heels - No its not like walking on pillows but yes for a 3 inch heel it is really comfortable. I am a 7.5M I got the 38. The area above the big toe seems kind of small - but I think going bigger would be too big - so I just hope to stretch the shoe a little bit. I almost feel like getting the black too.

You can't go wrong with Dansko - As per usual, Dansko makes another great shoe. I followed other reviewers' advice and ordered a size up, which fit me perfectly. So comfortable for such a high heel! Very stylish.

I love these shoes! They look great with a dress or jeans. They are cute and very comfortable. I have very sensitive feet and my feet held up well after wearing these many days in a row on my last trip. There was a little break in period, the first night I wore them and walked a mile, they were rubbing on my toes but the next few days that pain went away. I went 1/2 size bigger (wear 7.5 chose a 38- which is size 8).

I love Dansko!! These are so comfortable, that I wore ‘em four days straight, right out of the box. They did rub a bit on the top of the toe box (just a little shallow for foot) but they look great and now are a perfect fit, in less than a week!

Dansko Nelly - Great looking shoe. Most of the comfort and support of my trusty Dansko clogs but much more stylish. They are tall so if you don't wear heels be warned, but I have run all over my school with them and felt comfortable. I got the black -would consider getting them in another color as well.

Dansko Nelly - I love the style and comfort at the same time. I have bunions. So picking a right shoe is always has been a big issue for me. Nelly has a high heel but you won't notice. Love that! Looks great on anything. LOVE IT and excellent FREE over night shipping. Unbelievable. Thank you!!!

Great shoe - This shoe is very good looking. I found it to be less comfortable than Dansko clogs, but more stylish and very wearable. Better on the comfort than most shoes with this heel. I would love another pair in black.

Comfort and Good Looks - I love my new Dansko Nelly! It fits well, is comfortable and looks great with jeans and skirts.
