These boots are great! They are both cute and comfy while at the same time shedding rain. The lining is soft and felt-like and not too warm. I needed these boots for a wet fall and winter, not a snowy one, and they are perfect for it.

Keen Chamonix Boot -
So far, I love this boot! They're very comfortable (a little give in the heel for me). I love that it's waterproof and breathable.

This is the LEAST comfortable of any Keen I've tried, and I own and love six other pairs of Keens. It's narrow and tight, and extremely difficult to put on and take off, not by any means a casual slip-on boot. But I do like the look of it, it's wonderfully warm and weatherproof, and compared to non-Keen shoes, it's not that uncomfortable.

Keen Boots -
Love the boots. I'm a huge Keen fan anyway. They are pretty much as described. The only thing I don't completely love is the velcro closure. Once your jeans fall over it, you can't see it, but it is a bit bulky. I would recommend these boots for look and comfort.

Funky & functional hybrid -
Funky, a bit sporty, & super comfortable. Because of their simple & sleek style, I think these are a very versatile casual boot. There's no break-in period either, they fit like a glove right out of the box. Great quality, too, I'm VERY pleased.
I'd also recommend:
Merrell Tetra Launch (but the foot is much wider looking).

Great boot!
I get many compliments on these boots. I typically wear them with skinny jeans tucked into them. They're warm and comfortable.

Chamonix boot comfortable -
Contrary to the other reviews, which said the boot was too tight and felt too small, I found it an extremely comfortable fit. Since I love every pair of my Keens, I found this one to be as comfortable and wearable as any of my others.
I'd also recommend:
Any Keen is a good bet.

Like walking in a bedroom slipper -
Other reviewers thought the boot was too narrow. I was looking for a snow boot in Anchorage in September and the clerk said that KEEN ran narrow. I wear an 11AAAAA shoe, yes, a 5A width. Boots NEVER come that narrow. Usually I buy a 10 1/2 AA, then wear a heavy sock, plus several extra boot liners. The 10 1/2 KEEN was too short for me and the store had no 11's, so I went on line with the info the store gave me. I think this boot is sized like a shoe in length; for some reason all boots and sport shoes are always too big in an 11 for me, so I back down to a 10 or 10 1/2. The width of this Keen boot is what makes it work for me. It has no size except length, but the width is shaped enough to hug a bit in the arch and the toe box is just a perfect bit wider, but not out of scale. I'd call this an 11AA. I am one happy customer with this boot so far. The velcro and elastic back closure also make the boot hug the leg; usually only a lace boot does that. I haven't worn it anywhere. Am waiting to field test it in Colorado in a few months. I buy all athletic shoes at the beginning of a season, they don't make many shoes that fit me and if I wait, my size is gone (all three that they manufactured, probably). Rochester, MN has primarily Missouri weather in winter (rain, sleet) this past decade. I will wear this with one boot liner and average sox in Colorado and for MN's annual March blizzard.
This is the first snow boot that has ever fit me that has style.

Great boot, but sizing is wacky -
I have Keen Newport H2O's in size 8.5; they fit me perfectly. My mary-jane Keens are size 9 and slightly big, so I ordered these boots in a 9 thinking they'd fit perfectly with woolly socks. I ended up sending them back for a 9.5 because the 9's didn't fit my size-8.5 feet! Other than that, they are very comfortable and they look great with boot-cut jeans.

Great look. Tough fit -
The boot is gorgeous & made well, but even with a slim foot, I had trouble inserting my foot into the boot. Back they went. So much for fashion over function!

Cute, comfy boot!
This is my second pair of Keens and they don't disappoint. Great style and very comfortable. I tried Merrell and Columbia boots, too and these felt the best on my wide feet. I got a half size larger because my size felt almost impossible to pull on and even the larger ones are a little tough to get on and off. I am hoping the elastic gives a little with wear, but doesn't give out with age. Compared to my Keen Portolas, these have less arch support and a slightly smaller toe box, but my feet still feel good after standing on these all day. I waterproofed the brown leather and they make a great rainy day boot.

Really Keen Boots!
I own about five other pairs of Keen brand footwear, mainly for outdoor & athletic pursuits, so I was so happy to get a pair of *dressier* Keens. It seems a bit bigger than my normal 6B; the shaft feels stiff at first, but softens up after use. They're comfortable; the sole traction grips well; and if it's Keen, it's solid construction. They go with everything, but love, love, love them with any length skirts. Keen shoes are built to last, & this pair will be timeless season after season. Worth every penny!

Awesome -
This boot is so comfortable. I got a half size larger than I usually wear. I have many Keen styles and have been wearing both men and women sizes. In the mens I think I wear a 7. They are wider and I also wear water boots under them for mining in the river...The great thing about Keen is, they have always worked with any exchanges that I need. I do own 5 different styles. I enjoy and they are warm. Thanks Keen. Let me know if you want me to test drive any of your styles. M boys from ages 36 to 16yrs old wear them as well. All together we have 21 pairs of Keen shoes.

Good -
This is a nice boot. I was hoping for the pull-on version but couldn't find it. The ankle is a bit tight but should loosen up.

So so -
I like Keen shoes and find them very comfortable but wasn't crazy about this boot. It seemed like there wasn't as good footbed/arch support and my foot collapsed inward. Not as easily to slide in and out of. Also, I think a good outdoor type boot should be leather and not suede. These black boots were suede; I think only the brown comes in leather. If the arch support had been better, might have stuck with them. I don't think they will wear well.

Fell in love at first sight & had to have these...
Unfortunately, tho', when I got them (and I did order them a half size larger as many Keens do run small) I found them to be quite narrow and sort of stiff. Now I do have trick feet, which is why I thought these would be perfect since the other (sandals) Keens I wear have a wonderful wide, flexible and stable base... but these seemed stiff-ish, didn't feel very nimble so it would have been awkward to try to bend the ankle (maybe they would have become more flexible with wear?) and did push on the vulnerable place on my foot across the toe joints. The length was fine; it was the width that was too tight when I had on a sock. I just wish these came in a wider width. One more thing; if I had wanted to wear them with jeans, it would have been tricky to get them tucked in since the velcro makes them kind of snug against the leg. I still wish they have fit better. Gorgeous looking! And made very nicely!

not sure.. if I knew, I'd order them instead! =)

Love them -
I live on Maui and ordered these boots on Friday and had them Monday! Wow! That never happens here, getting things shipped so fast, and free!!!
The boots looked as good as I had hoped and feel as if I am wearing bedroom slippers, very comfortable. The boiled wool had me a bit worried, but it is really soft and seems like it will be toasty warm. I ordered the army green and it is true to color, just what I wanted.
