A more low-profile shoe and a bit snug in the forefoot. A bit loose in the heel. Not springy enough as more expensive Asics are. If you are lightweight and only need "decent" cushioning, this shoe will likely work for you. But if you are mid-weight or heavy, it won't be enough. Arch support okay for someone with low to average arches.

Good Shoe - I recently switched from Nike to Asics, and find them much more comfortable. I've always been a competitive sport athlete, and have started to run 3-12 miles a day. So far this shoe has been very comfortable and stable running both on the road and in grass.

Very comfortable - I am very happy with this shoe. I am also pleased that Asics carries so many of their women's shoes in 12. They fit great.

Asics Gel-Oberon - Great price! Shoe was shipped in a couple of days of my order. They are so light weight and I love the color. They are also cute and sporty to wear around town. At first shoes were a bit stiff and snug at the toes. Had to break them in and now they are comfortable.

Great sneaker for the beginning runner! I'm a beginning runner and I under-pronate (supinate) and also have high arches. With these sneakers, my shin splints are gone! I wear a 6.5-7 in most shoes - ordered these in a 7 and they fit well, with room in the toe-area. The back of the sneaker is a little high - I've found that it's more comfortable to wear thin ankle socks with them (rather than tradition cotton athletic socks). Much of the sneaker is made of mesh - your foot might get damp if you run through a puddle.

Awesome exercise shoes - I love this brand for casual shoes so thought I would buy their running shoes. They are great. Sort of snug at the toes but very comfortable and cute looking.

Great Lightweight Running Shoe - Asics never disappoints. The weight of the shoe is feather-like. Excellent ventilation for a sweaty foot and outstanding arch support as well. Superb shoe for the middle-of-the-road runner.

Great shoe for beginner runners - I am just beginning my running regime and ASICS came highly recommended. This shoe has great support and gel shock absorption.

Love these shoes - These shoes are great. They were stiff the first time I put them on but broke in literally in seconds. I do were an 8 1/2 but ordered a 9 and they fit great. Highly recommend them. They look good, too.

Great shoe for a great price! I'm very happy that I bought these! I wanted something I could wear when I walk on the treadmill and also something cute and sporty to wear around town. These are great for both. They were a little stiff at first but after a few walks on the treadmill they feel great. They have lots of room in the toe box which is what I need. I wear a 7.5 medium width and some brands have caused a slight numbness in my toes after about 45 minutes of vigorous walking. I have not had that experience with these or any other Asics I've purchased. I also love that Asics do not come untied. All kids’ shoes should have these laces! I love Asics and Zappos!!

Very comfortable - I love these shoes. They are very comfortable and look great, too. I have had knee problems in the past and these shoes do not bother my knees at all. I am very happy I bought these, especially from Zappos.

Great workout shoe!! These are the most comfortable workout shoes! I wear them everyday and it is like walking on air. They are so light and comfortable. I was really please that the size was right on also. This was my first order from Zappos and it was a great experience. The reviews helped a lot, so make sure you check out those with your selections.

Excellent shoe for the running who under-pronates - I am getting back into running and have a problem with shin splints for the first week or two, and I also tend to let my foot roll out because of the tenderness in my shins (if that makes sense). Anyway - this shoe offers great foot support which is what I need rather than room and cushion. I have had no shin pain or supination running in these. Thanks!!!

Purchased November 2007 - Nice shoe. I ordered a 10.5W and it fits exactly to size. I was excited to find a great shoe at a decent price in my size, it is very hard to find. The only complaint I have is the shoe is extremely stiff. You really have to break it in...it is like walking on wood the first few times wearing.

Great shoe for a great price - I wanted to try Asics brand shoe, and I'm glad I did. It is very comfortable and light.

Great shoe! Very nice. I usually buy the more expensive Gel Nimbus IV and found that this is relatively comparable.

ASIC's Gel-Oberon - recommended by my podiatrist - Its form fitting, & I have high arches, so it works for me. My podiatrist, Jenny Sanders, DPM, in San Francisco, advised me to get them & they really help with my plantar fasciitis. My orthotics fit in there well & the shoe fits to-size. Next, I'm looking forward to a slightly raised heel, to take a slight amount of pressure off my heel soreness. Thank you, Zappos for all your great shoes.

Not so flexible - Although these shoes are quite roomy in the toe box, they do not have the support or cushioning I need. They also feel very stiff and I felt it was poorly constructed compared to the Asics cumulus and the nimbus. Of course you get what you pay for but it reminded me of cheaper athletic shoes. I have a wider foot and a narrow heel and these did feel comfortable until I tried to run in them.

Asics Gel Oberon - I have been buying the Asics sneakers in wide widths after having a fitting at a runner's specialty shop. They fit well and the support and cushioning seem to last a long time.

Gets the job done! These are overall a great running shoe. I ordered a 6.5 even though I generally wear a 6 in dress shoes, and they're perfect. They’re very comfortable, and not too bulky. I'm running 3 miles a couple of times a week, so I don't know how these would work for really serious runners, but they do the trick just fine for me.

A great purchase - I owned Asics Gel nimbus and I loved them. I decided to try these Gel-Oberon, based on other reviews, as they are much cheaper... They feel different, maybe with less support in the front of the foot, but they are very comfortable, they have a nice look and they are much thinner then the Nimbus. I would definitely buy them again!

Too big - These shoes came within two days of my order. I was very impressed with Zappos.com’s service. They were, however, about a half-size too big. I usually wear a 7, and that's what I ordered, but I should have ordered a 6 1/2. I didn't reorder this shoe, because I didn't like the look of them. They were a bit too bright white for me and the silver was too flashy.

Asics Gel-Oberon - I have a really high arch in my foot, and these shoes are not made for that. My shoes had to be broke in, which I’m told you do not have to do- they should be comfortable as soon as you put them on. I’m also a runner, and I’m going back to my much more expensive Asics for running. These shoes are really stiff- almost hard to bend your foot. On the other hand, I have had a lot of compliments on the look. I’m bummed that I wasn’t completely satisfied.
