Thank You Zappos - I have never written a review for anything ever, but thought I had to write one for this shoe and Zappos. I am a marathon runner with under pronation and a 4 EE wide foot. The Asics Cumulus 9 shoe is quite simply the best shoe for this situation. It is light and comfortable and breathes like nothing else. Also, I want to thank Zappos for taking my order with regular shipping and for no extra charge made it priority overnight express. I got my shoes 22 hours after ordering them. Thank You Zappos!

I consider myself a casual jogger and have this shoe at a size 8.5 and the shoe has been very comfortable to jog in around pavement and even off-road on a light trail. It definitely provides a great fit for my underpronation. This is my first experience with a serious running shoe from Asics and I'm very pleased with it so far. Also I was pleasantly surprised that Zappos gave me free expedited overnight shipment even though this is my second purchase from them. :) Once again Zappos delivers!

Impressed - Great fit, felt true to size. I run in nimbus and wanted to try cumulus and I’m glad I did. Shoe feels a bit more "cushiony" than my nimbus. Love them soo far!!!! Zappos has the best customer service bar far!!!!!!!!!!!!

Running shoes - I bought these shoes, plus a pair of trail shoes, for my son, who lives overseas. He hasn't tried the trail shoes yet, but said that he loves these running shoes. He ran about 19 kilometers in them the first time he wore them. I'll get another pair for him when I go for another visit this November.

Asics - I love the shoe. Just bought the second pair. I run daily and these make it easier.

Excellent Shoes - These are probably the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. I purchased these because I needed a good pair of shoes to start my running again. These shoes made a huge difference in how I felt after my run, with my previous shoes my legs always felt really sore, but with these I do not feel sore at all after my runs! They are also extremely light weight, breathable and just feel really good on my feet I have moderately high arches. I love my ASICS!!

Very satisfied - I have been purchasing Asics from Zappos for the last couple of years and have not found any shoe to be their equal for comfort and support.

Awesome shoe - I used to run in NB and got blisters all the time. This shoe is seamless and is super comfortable. I put around 400 miles on them and just finished a half marathon in them and never got one blister!!! I am definitely buying another pair before they're all gone. Very roomy compared to any brand.

Love my shoes! I was hesitant to switch brands (have been wearing another brand for a few years), but I am happy that I did. The Asics are very comfortable, have lots of support. They felt a little snug when I first tried them on but then I realized that I just wasn't used to the support. The "snug" feeling disappeared after a few hours!! I wear these for aerobics/ walking and may purchase another pair for work-- I'm a Nurse and am on my feet all day) PS Also love the color. I have the white/dark lavender.

Great running shoe - I put a lot of miles on my shoes, and the ASICS Cumulus has never let me down. They are light, supportive, and provide just the right amount of cushion. I would recommend these for any runner who has a neutral pronation.

It’s like running on pillows. This is my third pair of Gel cumulus. Won’t be the last I’m sure! I just came from a 10k and I feel great! Love the fact I can get wide sizes.

LBJ Asics Gel Cumulus for treadmill. Cumulus in 2EE or 4EE works very well for orthotics and treadmill usage compared to Nike, New Balance, and others. Considerably less foot, calf and hamstring discomfort with Asics. Probably as close to a "treadmill" specialty shoe as I have found. I have both 2EE and 4EE Cumulus and believe the 4EE works better with orthotics.

Great shoe from Asics - This is my fourth pair of the Asics Gel-Cumulus line of shoes. The Cumulus-9 felt a little narrower than other pairs which I think is due to the exterior leather band now extending into the toe box area. However, after several trail runs, the shoes loosened up and they felt as comfortable as my other pairs. For those requiring a neutral shoe, this is an excellent choice.

Worth every penny. First off let me tell you I have Fibromyalgia, and advanced Rheumatoid arthritis, finding shoes that will allow me to walk without feeling like I'm stepping on glass is hard if not some times impossible. I first bought last year a pair of Asics TN741 4E, and immediately fell in love with the support and comfort. After just trying on and a short walk in the Gel-Cumulus 9 I have fallen in love all over again. Thanks Asics, and Zappos, I was having a really hard time finding anyone around the Springfield, Ohio area that stocked 4E Asics. I bought 2 pair of these. P.S. Zappos is really great to do business with! Fast reliable friendly, honest service.

BUY! BUY! BUY! I was running in Nike Shox and experiencing shin splints, tight calves, and knee problems. I under pronate so I needed a shoe with support and cushion. I bought the ASICS Gel-Cumulus and ran my 1st 10k on April 5th, 2008. No issues! GREAT SHOE!!! I'm buying another pair.

The best! This is my fifth or sixth pair of versions of the Gel-Cumulus. It took me awhile to figure out that men's wide shoes worked better than women's regular for me. I walk 40-50 miles a week and other shoes that felt comfortable when I bought them would start killing my feet by the second or third mile, these don't.

Entry Level Runner - This is the first pair of "real" running shoes I've ever owned and so far they're worth their value. I followed the advice given in these reviews and ordered them a half-size bigger than my regular shoe size and am very happy I did. The shoes fit perfectly, are pretty comfortable and seem to support my ankles well. I have higher than normal arches and the support seems adequate for me. As for the orthotics, please don't take my word; I have no idea if the shoe will accommodate them. I assume as long as the lining on the inside can be removed then they will work with this shoe.

Good Shoe For Supination - This shoe is very good for people with supination. As I have this condition, Zappos website was very helpful in helping me locate a running/walking shoe that feels comfortable.

The 9s are Tens - I love my Gel-Cumulus 9s. I was looking for a comfortable and versatile training shoe for in the gym, on the track, and on the road and these Asics really get the job done. I feel a good balance and stability in them. This is mainly a running shoe, but I find it works well as a cross trainer as well. These are more fitting for me than perhaps a sprinting shoe with less support such as the Asics Speed Star 2s. I give the 9s a 10.

Best running shoe I've run in yet!! I usually bought NB because of the widths but I would get major blisters because of the seams on the inside of the shoe. My local running store said that this shoe is specifically designed to have limited seams. I haven't had a blister yet, even after running a full marathon!!! I will definitely stick with Asics and will probably buy this exact shoe again. Definitely buy at least a half size larger than you normally wear.

Excellent Running Shoe - I’ve always used New Balance, but gave Asics a try and enjoy wearing them. This particular model is lightweight and has a good cushion.

Good neutral running shoe - I bought these for my husband, a runner with a neutral gait. He says that they are very comfortable and cushioned.

Very Nice! This is my first pair of legitimate running shoes. I am a mild underpronator who has ankle and knee problems with regular shoes due to my lack of shock absorption. These shoes are ultra-cushioned and after going from zero to 1.5 miles, I had no ankle or knee pain. If you're looking for cushiony shoes, look no further and order these bad boys! Now if only Asics made a pair that looked good... =/ Oh, I wear 10.5 EE on New Balances. For this pair of shoes, 11 EEEE are the right size for me.
