Great pair of shoes - Great shoe ... elegant, stylish ... buy it with confidence.

Howland Penny - Unbelievably comfortable, but a bit delicate. Leather could use a protectant, as it spots with water. Also fragile around edges, gets scuffed easily. I don't expect my loafers to remain pristine, as I wear them out and outside a lot. Great looking shoe. Feels great, too.

Great shoe, BUT they are a quarter of a size too large for me. This left me in quite a quandary, so I decided to just keep them. Might have been a bad decision, but the aesthetic quality of the shoe was too much to turn down.

The best loafers - Forget the other loafers that are poorly constructed, don't have any arch support, and rub the skin off the back of your heel. These are the most comfortable loafers I've ever owned. They don't have a wear in period and has great arch support. One thing I will mention is that at the very bottom tip (near the toe), there will grow a slight scuff mark due to its contact with the floor.

I ordered these for my fiance... just walking around the house with no socks, he said the leather rubbed one of his toes, so I am sending them back. They are good looking shoes though and I will keep ordering other Cole Haans for him to find the perfect fit!

Very nice shoes - These Cole Haan shoes follow the tradition of great looks, comfort and extraordinary craftsmanship, I get compliments on the shoes wherever I go, they are very comfortable and look great with sport slacks, I got the tan color, the leather is soft, supple and looks great.

Cole Haan awesome - This Cole Haan shoe is so comfortable and stylish. I work in NYC everyday where you need to look your best. Now I know this is isn’t the ideal dress shoe. But in the summer it’s alright even in NYC to dress a little casual. So this shoe fits right in. you can wear this shoe as a dress shoe and certainly with cotton pants or jeans. It’s comfortable so I don’t feel like taking them off first thing when I come home from work. And I get compliments on these shoes all the time.

Cole Haan – I returned the 1st pair because they were too small, but these are perfect.

This is a great looking spring/summer shoe. I bought it for my son who has trouble with a high instep and yet though tight at first, the soft leather soon gave enough to fit comfortably.

Great Shoes - This shoe fits as great as it looks. I have many pairs of Cole Haan's and this is my new favorite pair.

Maximum Comfort, Excellent Quality - The Cole Haan Howland penny loafer styled driver is the most comfortable slip-on shoe I have ever owned. The tumbled leather is soft and pliable. The interior of the shoe is a molded "cradle" shaped sole that is perfectly cushioned. If you wear a 13 in Donald Pliner, you will take a 13 in this shoe. Well worth the price.

First thing's first: Everyone saying to order a size up is correct. I'm pretty firmly a size 14 (including in some other Cole Haan shoes), but I ordered 14 and 15s based on the reviews. 14 was too small, 15 fits well. Otherwise, so far everything is great. I just got them this morning and comfortably walked 1.7 or so miles to work. I walk a lot, and part of the reason I ordered these is because CH shoes tend to be pretty comfortable and the driver sole looked pretty solid. So far that seems to be the case, though I'll update if they end up not being as sturdy as they seem. Otherwise, happy with the color, shape etc.

9M was very tight. It is odd since I own a pair of Cole Haan 'Zeno' Slip-On size 9M and they fit just fine.

I ordered the size 9M prior to ordering the 9W and it was very tight. After reading the reviews, it appeared the 9W would be sufficient but after trying the shoes on for extended periods of time, the wide version was still tight. Nice looking shoe, but the exact same size in the exact same model shoe in a different color fit perfectly, and this one was much too small I couldn't get it on my foot.

Very comfortable. Sizing was just right when I first got them but they've stretched a bit after break-in. Not bad, but they're a little looser than when I bought them a couple weeks ago. Overall, very good and I'm quite satisfied.

I really like the look of this shoe, but the fit is weird. I tried a 13, 14, and 13 Wide... the 13 Wide fits best, but it's a little wider than I like at the opening, and a little more narrow at the toes. These should be a pretty good fit once I break them in, though.

Shows fit great, the service from Zappos was 1st class. I'm buying my next pair of shoes from them.

This is a fine pair of shoes. I ordered size 7½ medium and found them a little bit too tight, I returned it for exchange to size 7½ wide, this time they fit very well and I found it very comfortable. I took it to Shoe Whiz to add a protective black rubber pad at the tip of shoe to keep the tip part from getting scratched when walking. The shoes are light and beautiful.

I had purchased this shoe before at a high end department store. I like the shoe. It has one design flaw. There is no protection for the overhanging leather at the toe and this leather wears out quickly. There is protection at the heel. The sole comes up the back.

The toe area wears externally quite quickly. I had to replace my initial pair as they wore through. This is a design flaw in that the rubber needs to extend further towards the toe on the bottom. Nevertheless, they are comfortable, the leather is beautiful, and the style is great, so I continue to wear them until I find something I like more.

Great Shoes - These shoes look and feel awesome. Very comfortable and I love wearing them.
