I love this skirt! I bought it for my honeymoon in Hawaii, where we planned to be hiking. It was great and cool. I wore it through the spring as my waistline grew, and now am wearing it as it shrinks--had a baby in August! Because of its stretchy waistband, I can wear it when thin and thick. Also, it bridges casual and formal, so I can wear it on the trail and to church.

This skirt is great! It's flattering, wrinkle-free and comfortable! I also like that the waistband essentially allows you to wear the skirt in different ways; on your waist, hips or whatever. I suppose if I were a more petite build I could even wear it as a dress. In any case, it's a lovely, simple skirt, and the quality is very good. I expect the fabric will hold up really well.

I bought this skirt to wear as a strapless dress to a wedding and it was a hit! Everyone loved it and thought it was so cute. I am only 5' 3" though and it might be too short (as a strapless dress) for those taller. It is so versatile and could be used to pack on trips. It is also very comfortable and can be dressed up or down. I first bought the forge gray, which was cute but much less dressy looking.

The skirt is extremely comfortable. I wear it without folding the waist band so it elongates and makes you look slimmer. You can wear it casual or dress it up. The two tone (stripes) keep it from being boring. Two thumbs up!

Just got this skirt today. Hangs beautifully, very flattering, although the tech fabric would not be my first choice (too slippery). I am a size 6 (5' 7" and 140 pounds). The waist band is a bit tight, but I'm guessing a size medium would be too large, based on their dress sizes.

I ordered the Patagonia Morning Glory skirt in size large. I also ordered the matching top both in black. I had an issue with which size to get, but with the fast fabulous service of Zappos, had one back in the mail and exchanged within a matter of a couple of days. This top and skirt in black make a great backdrop to put fun colorful cardigans and jackets as well as draping of color in scarves, and what could be easier to throw on some great jewelry and a jean jacket. Couldn't be easier, very versatile.

Love this skirt! I have unfolded the waistband all the way and it is perfect to also wear as a bandeau dress! Super cute.

I love this skirt: the fabric drapes beautifully and feels great. It's a good travel item, as it doesn't wrinkle, and I have it in elegant black and cool light blue -- goes with everything!

Although most of the reviewers used this skirt for outdoor activities, I bought it for work. It looks good with boots or flats. I plan to wear it with a sweater this winter. The fit is true; I wear a 4-6 skirt and the small is perfect. I am just under 5-8 and it falls mid-calf on me.

This skirt was exactly what I was looking for. It's a perfect casual skirt for everyday. I ordered this in two sizes, medium and large. Both fit me around the waist because of the stretchy material but the large was longer which I preferred.

Soft, cool and comfortable - The skirt is a true fit, very soft and cool for the very hot day. I do not wear pant so I'm always look for the cool in the summertime and warm in the winter, this is the most comfortable skirt I have purchased in a while for the summer and I probable will order in all colors.

Love the skirt. Great weight, very swirly. Can be worn with both flats or dress up with heels! Looking forward to taking it on vacation!

I’m pretty particular about how my clothes fit, so I was pleasantly surprised. This skirt looks really nice. It’s stretchy but still fitting in the waist. It’s very comfortable and hangs/flows nicely. It may even be slimming. It’s a nice dark blue (i.e., it doesn’t look black). I was afraid it would be too casual, but it’s not—it will work just fine for work. I think I’m really gonna enjoy this skirt. I recommend giving it a try.

Great Skirt - Comfortable, stylish, fabric doesn't wrinkle.

The fabric surprised me - This 'tech' fabric is definitely different and not something I expected (I've never owned Patagonia tech before) but is versatile and something I think I will enjoy. You can dress it up or down. It isn't as stretchy you would expect with the wide waistband, so I'm going to have to order a size larger than I normally would.

It looks better as a strapless dress than a skirt. However I wanted a skirt. Therefore I'm returning it. I usually wear a 12/14 and the large fit nicely as a dress but when I pulled it down to wear as a skirt it was not as flattering in the stomach area.

Stretchy lycra skirt, hits below the knee. Heavier material, not so breathable but definitely wicks away sweat. Roll down waist to shorten length.

The size I order was correct but much too long. I am short so a petite option would have save me the trouble of hemming the skirt.

This is a great casual skirt and the fit is perfect. I'm fairly tall (5'8") and the skirt is really long on me, so anyone shorter should expect a skirt that comes to their mid to low calf area. My only complaint about the skirt is the color. Because of the material the black isn't a true black. I would love to be able to dress this skirt up with a black cardigan but the black in the skirt will never match any cotton cardigan in black.

Great skirt for travel, or just being comfortable at work. I picked a large based on the customer reviews, but that being said I could have gone with the medium. Does wrinkle a little more than I expected, but overall I am very pleased with my purchase.

This is my new favorite skirt, but I'm giving it 4 stars because the sizes seem smaller than they should be and I can't tell from the tags how it's supposed to be cleaned. As for the fit, I'm normally a size 8 or a medium, but after reading the reviews I ordered a large and it fits perfectly around my hips just like in the picture. And as for the fabric, it is like a swimsuit, which might not be readily apparent from the description or the picture. I guess I should just wash it in cold water and hang it to try to be safe. It is really soft and very comfortable and breezy. I love the way it drapes, very flattering. The video review was a great help too.

I like the way it fits in the waist, but the length is a bit awkward for my height (I'm 5'4"). It hits about 3 inches below the knee and isn't a particularly flattering length for me personally. The color is nice. The fabric is a bit thicker than I expected it to be, so it doesn't drape quite as flowingly as I thought it might. Overall quite comfortable, nicely made, but for me wasn't a total perfect fit.

I love this skirt! The foldover waist allows some adjustment in the length of the skirt without being bulky. I am typically a jeans person, but this skirt is comfortable. I don\'t know if it\'s wedding worthy, but it can definitely be dressed up a little, or just work with a tshirt.
