My son is a soccer coach. These shoes are perfect for this job - highly recommended on sites for coaches. Have some cleats for occasional playing with the team.

I'm usually a street 9.5. Size 9.5 in these were way too long. Size 9 is perfect length, though I'm ending up with a slightly narrower than desired shoe. Turf cleats are much nicer on the feet vs. cleats. As other reviewers noted, kangaroo leather really can't be beat for touch and feel. Profile is a bit higher than more modern indoor shoes, but I'm mostly on turf, and these guys provide great grip without having to deal with cleats. Finally, quality is superb. Stitching upper to the last is great, and I expect to have these shoes for a decade.

Nice soccer shoes, durable. Buying for 2nd time. I had a couple of soccer shoes before and this one is the best. I tried the cheaper ones and can tell the differences.

Excellent shoe!I bought one for indoor soccer and feels good playing with this shoes.The only problem is a size larger than the regular shoe.

I just went into my Zappos history and reordered this pair of shoes after wearing them for SEVEN YEARS. And they didn't just live in my closet either. I've been playing soccer at least twice a week for those seven years. I didn't even shop around. These were perfect and I would have kept wearing the old pair if they were starting to wear thin where the leather meets the sole (Nothing worse than wet feet on a rainy day).

When it comes to soccer cleats and shoes, you definitely get a better product if you pay more. This is an example of that. The quality of the shoe, and specifically, of the leather, are very good and much better than other shoes in the $40-$60 range. I have wide feet, and these are more accommodating to wider feet than other shoes.

After having plantar fasciitis for 10 months from playing on hard surfaces, indoor and outdoor, I decided I needed turf shoes instead of cleats. I was hesitant about the price at first, I just play rec soccer for fun, but I'm SO glad I purchased these. Best decision ever. My plantar issue is completely gone and these are super comfortable. I'm a female and ordered according to the Zappos size suggested half size down from my dress shoe. I have wide feet and no issues there. Def recommend this shoe and would get again.

There is not much to add regarding these shoes which have been considered a "classic" for years. I'm not sure that this is a striker's shoe because it is bulky and not super light. I wear them now to coach and I wore them years ago as a keeper when we played on turf. They are comfortable and easy to break in.

Love the shoe. I have pretty wide feet, so the break-in part was literally painful for the first few outings, but since they are very forgiving, they stretched. I thought about returning them, but I'm glad I kept them. I even had to go up a size to get them wider, and they were still really narrow. Sales clerk told me they would stretch, and he was right.

Great shoes so far. I use for coaching on grass fields. Leather very soft right out of the box. Minimal break in needed. Size seems to run normal to a little snug.

I've owned many, many kinds of turf shoes over the years, and these are my absolute favorite. This is my third pair. I love them. They offer the perfect amount of grip so that I can start/stop on a dime, but they aren't so intense that I worry about stressing out my joints because I "get stuck" (which has happened with other shoes). I also seem to have the best and most accurate touches with these. And they're so comfy for my foot (which is fairly narrow and has no special arch issues). Size note: I was little stressed about the size. I didn't believe a Mens 7 mapped to a Womens 8. I'm a Womens 8 and was afraid a Mens 7 would be huge. The truth is that they're a tiny bit big... but it's so close that a half size smaller might have been too tight. Kangaroo leather stretches, so perhaps a half size down would have been a better choice. I know some folks like their cleats as tight as tight can be before they're broken in. Just something to think about. I've had no problems on the field, though.

Great turf soccer shoes. Didn't even need to break them in. So soft wore them first time in an all day indoor tournament.

I bought these for my 11 year old daughter who plays indoor soccer. I did think they were a bit higher in price but after looking in all the local sports shops and not finding her size, she wears women's size 8 ordered men's size 7, we had to get them. My daughter loves them. She says they are the most comfortable soccer shoe she has ever worn and she wants to wear them all the time. They were totally worth the price!

I have owned a pair of these in the past and will never buy another brand again! Very comfortable fit and last forever. I also love how quickly I received these...Zappos has great customer service!

These turf boots have soft leather that molds to the foot, classic styling and is an all around great shoe. Very good on the artificial turf and also durable (this is my second purchase in the last 5 years).
