Great shoe - I love this shoe. It was bought because we bought a kayak & wanted a water shoe that goes from ground to water easily and wouldn't slip...kind of cramped until I adjusted the strings... fit great!!! I even wear them with my jeans shopping because they are so cool & comfortable...

Aqua shoe - I got the parakeet/blue colored shoe, and love it! I had to go from an 8 to an 8 1/2 because they run a little small. It fits like a glove. I would recommend this shoe.

I wore my shoes camping, and I had them on all day & they felt great! I will definitely buy another pair when these wear out. I did get a 1/2 size larger because they run kind of small....and they fit great...

Perfect! Got compliments on them from the very first person I came into contact with wearing them! She is a dog groomer and thought these would be perfect for wearing at work as well as looking good. I love them- they are light, airy and versatile. I wanted a pair of comfortable shoes for a vacation that would look good with capris and performance-wear.

A Very Pleased Customer - I just love my new Aquatooth shoes. They are very comfortable and are great for me in the water aerobics class as I have had both knees replaced. They not only give me better footing in the water, they give me good support and help take the shock off the jumping and marching from my knees. They are great!

Feels like a winner - I am going white water rafting soon and needed a shoe that would work in the water and out that provided protection to my toes. I decided on these and really think they will be great. The shoes are already comfy and look good. I had bought the 8 which is what I normally wear in a tennis shoe but those fit too snug (they are supposed to fit a little tight so they don't slip off) so I sent them back and got the 8.5 which work. I would suggest getting a .5 size bigger than what you normally wear. Plus I want to be able to wear them with socks when needed. Zappos was awesome, of course, about the exchange. Customer Service is the best!

Exactly what I was looking for - I love this shoe. It is lightweight and fits great right out of the box. I bought them to use them for an upcoming white water rafting trip.

Good for hiking and look cute, too - I love these shoes. They recently performed very well on a moderate hike, and handled diverse terrain (road, gravel, loose dirt, wet rocks, etc). I mostly wear them with socks, but they are comfortable without as well. As I do with all athletic shoes, I bought a half size larger than my "street" shoe size, and they fit perfectly. A little more cushioning would have been nice, but overall they were very comfortable. And to top it all off, they look great!

wow, Wow, WOW! I ordered this shoe for tromping around Disney World during the rainy season. I didn't want hot tennis shoes, but also knew I wanted more than flip flops. I mostly wore it with very thin wicking socks, but also wore it to the water park. It was FAB! Comfort out of the box! Zappos price match was great, too!!

One hell of a shoe! I received these shoes right before Lollapalooza; and they held up well!! The fit, comfort and look was up to Columbia's standards as well as mine. This is my 4th purchase of shoes via Zappos and I have NOT been disappointed. Thanks for the reviews on these shoes; it helped greatly. They will be going with me to New Mexico for a white water rafting trip!

Cute, Colorful, and Too Tight - These are cute and colorful, but it was a trial squeezing my foot into it. I thought it was just me and my fat ankles--but my husband also had trouble getting into the men's version. These run at least a half a size too small, and are likely to be too much of a pain to get in and out of while on vacation, so I've returned them. Zappos, however, is fantastic and I will shop with them forever.

Great water/land shoe - Received these shoes a day before going white water rafting. They felt as if I had worn them for years - very comfortable and did not rub on any part of my feet. Worked great on rocky terrain as well as in the water!

Aquatooth review - The shoe fits exactly to size. It is very comfortable and gives plenty of support. I have not used it in a water situation yet, but I know it will be great.

I love these shoes - These are great looking and functional water shoes or for when you can’t wear sandals and it’s too hot for shoes. As for the sizing, I wear a 9.5 in Keens and these seem to fit just like the Keens. The mesh is very soft right out of the box so no breaking in required. All around great shoe and of course Zappos Rocks!!

Aquatooth performs well - Took these shoes to Hawaii to wear in and out of the ocean, hiking on lava rock on the beach and then for kayaking here at home in PA. They have held up very well even after traveling home wet in plastic bags for 20 hours. The drainage holes in the sole do wear into my feet a bit so if wearing them hiking out of water I put socks on. A good shoe to live in all day in and out of water.

Great shoes - After 8 hours of kayaking and practicing water rescues, these shoes did the job. Water drained out well and little stones stayed out. Didn't feel heavy in the water. Need to wiggle to get off and on when wet, but overall I am pleased.

So far I love them - I have a very hard time finding shoes in my size, 12, so this was very exciting to find a cool hiking/walking/water/whatever shoe! I'm going to Hawaii in a few months and can't wait to climb waterfalls in these!

I'd give these an A- I primarily bought these to have in the Virgin Islands for a light-weight hiking shoe/traipsing around shoe that could get wet. The place I didn't like them was when I wore them in the Sea and they collected sand. Depending on what we were doing, I brought a pair of flip-flops as well so I could trade shoes. I probably could have removed the insole but didn't think of it :). They did not dry as fast as I would have liked. They were great for the hiking we did and for walking around town - nice and lightweight; I wore socks when we were hiking just because that's more comfortable for me. You have to make sure to loosen the elastic cord wide enough to get your foot in - that was kind of a pain, but nothing I couldn't live with; using the finger grips helps a lot. I do recommend buying a 1/2 size larger; I usually wear a 5 and ordered the 5.5 based on other reviews. I was glad I did. The coral/melonade color is really pretty, too and went with the neutral shorts I brought. I don't wear orthotics so I don't know if they'd fit in these shoes.

Trail Shoe - This is the second pair I ordered, one for dirt/muddy trails, the other for street walking. Very comfy although footbed padding could be a little more but not bad for me. No rubbing even on first wear.

Way too small - Looking for a light hiking, water resistant shoe but this one couldn't make the cut. I ordered a half size larger (as recommended) and it was still too small and narrow.

Uncomfortable and no support - These shoes look nice but they are very uncomfortable and offer little, if any, support. After wearing these my feet hurt badly and felt stretched out. I don't have this issue with other shoes. They are also VERY HOT. My feet felt like they were on fire sometimes. Not recommended.
