Cool look. Run a bit small in size -
Saw these shoes at local store...but they were sold out. Funky, but kind of cool looking…you can actually fold them up and pack them to go. I have small feet with a high instep, and they felt great on the bottom of my foot, but tight on the top. Takes a few minutes to get used to the "negative heel"...but feels good once you adjust. But the top kept squeezing my foot. Did not realize there is no tongue on this shoe, fits like a sock. Tried loosening the laces, but that does not help. Considered moving up a 1/2 size in the same style, but decided I'm returning these and trying either: Keen Briggs, Doc Martens 8B81, or Rogue's Burnside. The Keen's look closest to the Birkenstock, Born-ish type of shoe I love (foot shaped/wide toe box) and have a million reviews. The Doc Martens look cool; have a decent amount of reviews. Never heard of Rogue's, have no reviews, look cool. More expensive than the others. Appear the least "foot-shaped."

I was a bit nonplussed at first; I did not know if it would work out. I have had difficulties with my feet for many years: a doctor I saw at a clinic said what I have are called fibroids (not the uterine kind) or fibromatosis, I don't quite remember. Anyway I have plenty of them, for at least twelve -- maybe thirty -- years little swellings of tissue in the foot that can be quite painful as they press on the nerves underneath them. Before I got my Kelso Lite Vegan Earth shoes, I had developed a system of switching off between several pairs of shoes and several different systems of orthoses (a big word for thingies you put inside your shoe before you slip your feet in). This was because each system felt good for some parts of one or other of my feet and hurt for other parts. When I first got my Earth shoes I was surprised at their lightness and was worried that being so light, perhaps they would prove to be flimsy and quickly fall apart. This was one reason why I put off my comments for several months. Of course walking felt a little 'funny' at first, but I expected that, and even looked forward to a change. Still, I wasn't sure that I would successfully 'adjust.' And at first I added them to my rotation: I wore one old system for a couple of days, then the Earth shoes for a couple, then a different old system, and so on. I basically wore one system until the pain got bad -- usually a few days -- and then switched to another which alleviated that pain, but soon -- in a few days -- led to its own pain, and so on. So at first the Earth shoes behaved similarly: they alleviated some pains but seemed to stimulate some others. But they were not bad and I resolved to continue them in my rotations. Only what happened was - since I would switch off according to the amount of pain - that I began to wear the Earth shoes for more days than any of the other shoes, because they weren't stimulating further pain. And I was enjoying the greater energy that they seemed to help engender in me when I walked, as compared with my other shoes (all walking is a joy for me, despite the pain). So that was a plus. And I began to notice, at home, that my barefoot stance was more comfortable. I would naturally stand barefoot the way the Kelsos encouraged me to stand when in shoes, which is relaxing and alert. And after a couple of months I've stopped wearing any other shoes. Really. Foot fibroids cured? No. But I have to say the chronic pain is much reduced; there's no doubt about that. Big plus for me is that they're vegan. I'm stubborn about that: I don't buy animal products to wear if I am aware of it. And they are good looking too. A friend told me over dinner that my new shoes looked good (heck, I've been wearing nothing but canvas shoes for years since I won't buy non-vegan. I've tried a few vegan shoes before, that imitated the leather look, but their surface soon scuffed off, and they weren't more comfortable than the usual shoes anyway). Bottom line, I'm a believer. I will order a couple more pair very soon. Thanks for making these.

I'm a diabetic and very particular about the shoes I buy. The Earth Lazer K is the most comfortable shoe I've ever worn. I currently own four pairs. I am also a devoted fan of Zappos.

If you are looking for a lightweight, comfortable shoe just for kicking around, these are the shoes for you. The arch support is awesome, and the Kalso design really reduces fatigue when having to walk a lot. The down side to these shoes is the light color. It tends to soil rather easily, but running them through the washing machine in the gentle cycle worked perfectly. They also pack quite well, getting squished in the suitcase, but springing back into shape immediately. I am certainly happy with my purchase, and the Zappos service is second to none!

This is simply a comfortable shoe. While it’s labeled D width, it feels wider. And for anyone with wider than D width feet, you know that shoe choices are limited. One note, the shoe tongue is not semi-separate; it’s all one piece with the shoe, for greater structural support in a fabric shoe, I guess. Whatever, it works well. I’ve bought a 2nd pair, having learned the hard way, what I like frequently vanishes from the market.

I could use words like comfortable, durable, and stylish, but the bottom line is... these are the MOST COMFORTABLE,MOST DURABLE, and one day (when finances allow) I will buy many pairs so I don’t have to worry about shoes ever again!!!

This shoes have exceeded expectations. They’re as light as a pair of canvas slip-ons I have, but with the arch support of a supportive running shoe. The pictures on the Zappos web site make the shoe look a little too bulky, but they really aren’t. Finally, I literally got these shoes 16 and 1/2 hours after ordering them. I don’t know how Zappos does it!

Without a doubt the most comfortable and lightest shoe I’ve ever worn. I was looking for new shoes and I didn’t really care what they looked like as long as they were vegan and comfortable. These fit the bill and have a unique design to boot. I’m not in love with it as it looks a bit like I’m wearing a fish on my feet since the vents look like scales the way they are placed and the number of them. Although I wear mine during the winter, they are definitely more of a warm-weather shoe as they offer zero (0) insulation. You’d be better off in the snow wearing a second sock than this shoe, but obviously they aren’t meant for snow/sleet-faring. One final note is that the color shown isn’t near the real color. The Khaki in the picture is a nice dark color, which I wanted. In reality they are actually khaki... many shades lighter than the picture. Not a huge deal for me, but something to be aware of.

Great fit (true-to-size & width), honest arch support and awesomely lightweight. I will get another pair when my earth T-shoes need replacing.

Ordering from Zappos was totally a positive experience. In this case, the size and type of shoe was just fine. It is so nice to know that Zappos will pay return shipping if the product is not what was expected.

I went shopping for shoes at eight different stores in the mall and could not find any I liked. I wanted Earth shoes so I went to the Zappos website. Not only did they have them in stock, but they were shipped within two days. The girl I spoke to on the phone was a lifesaver getting these to be as I was going on a trip. I will recommend Zappos to all my friends.

A great-looking, guilt-free sneaker! These seem much more user-friendly than other Earth styles (i.e., not quite so differently balanced). They were immediately comfortable without socks. They do, however, run large; I had to return my first pair. When I reordered, I ordered down a half size, and the new ones are perfect. They also run a touch wide, but they can always be adjusted with the laces.

The desert color of Earth Lazer K Vegan shoes are my FOURTH pair of Lazer K Vegans. Just as comfortable as my three other pairs. The desert color is great for summer wear. Please be aware that this color of upper shows scuffs and dirt very easily. But, I expected that - so no problem. In fact, I think it gives them that informal, well-worn look. Also, as with all of the Earth shoes that have the Kalso lite sole, the comfort of the footbed is far superior to ANY other footbed I have ever worn.
I'd also recommend:
None - the Kalso lite sole is the ONLY shoe that is comfortable for me.

Comfort!
I had forgotten how comfortable these shoes are! I wore Earth shoes when they first came out when I was a teen. Now I wear them for true comfort. I work in a hospital and am on my feet for 12 hours, and my feet aren't tired after wearing them. I don't see anyone else wearing them so I certainly am spreading the word!

Lazer K-Vegan in Desert Microfiber -
Bought a Float-K to try Earth. Great! Bought these, they look as good as a summer shoe. Extremely comfortable. And as light as a feather (almost!). Great arch I have no need for my orthotics. I have arthritic big toe joints that pain most went bent backward, as in any normal step. I tried Earth's negative incline to see if it would help. It did, greatly. I have 3 Earth styles now. They all look and feel great. The only con is they're made in China. A "Designed in USA" flag sticker on the inside tongue is a slap in the face. Not what we need, now or ever. Get off the globalization wagon, Earth! The shoes are expensive anyway. You just make more profits at others' expense!

I LOVE THESE BOOTS! I wear a size 6 and I love a warm, comfortable boot with lots of tread for the snow - and these work for everything! My feet never hurt in these, the adjustable laces allow for multi-styling and the tread is very heavy duty. Work for skinny or big calves and keep your feet toasty warm, even in negative temperatures. I get more compliments on these boots than any other shoe I own, and I’m buying them in more colors!

Wonderful, comfortable & light!!
I've been a Keen shoe fan for quite sometime, but came across these recently and decided to give them a try. Wow! Very nice in the comfort department. Feels like walking on air. I'll probably end up buying another pair in the future. Sizing seemed true to me, despite other comments to the contrary.

Earth Lazer K - Vegan -
This shoe is beyond comfortable. And lighter than light. I now have 3 pairs (different colors). The Kalso lite footbed is by far the most comfortable footbed I have ever, ever experienced. My only wish is that the Kalso Lite bed was available in Earth's sandals (for warm-weather times). And in boots too. Put Kalso Lite in ALL styles of Earth shoes.
I'd also recommend:

First it was so easy finding the shoes I wanted, Zappos not only sent them free 4-5 days but then took it upon themselves to upgrade the shipping to NEXT DAY AIR for free!!! WOW, who does that with the way the economy is now?? Someone who knows their customers!

Comfy -
I am very happy with the Lazers. I have two pairs of Earth sandals, women's size 11 and they are very comfortable. I ordered Earth "Rockets" in size 12 and they were too small. The Lazers are men’s, size 11, and they are perfect. Lightweight and comfortable for all day, city streets, heavy duty use.

Damn I love these shoes.
These shoes are awesome. I dare say they might be my favorite shoes of all time. Definitely aim a little lower than you might otherwise think in terms of sizing. But incredibly comfortable, and very attractive.

Husband a tough sell -
My husband is one tough guy on his shoes, bunions and all. He is on the go all day, with this well made and extremely light weight shoe; he is not so sore footed when he gets home. Breathable and light weight is just what we need here in the desert. The back did squish down a bit on the inside but it held its shape.

My main shoes.
I have over half a dozen pair of Earth shoes. This is my 4th pair of Lazer K-Vegans. They are absolutely the best shoe I have ever worn. At first I thought they would eventually start to smell like old sneakers, but they haven't. I wouldn't recommend them for running; they are too pliable for that. I have to wear orthotics and they always provide my arches with the necessary support in my Earth shoes. I will never wear any other shoe.
I'd also recommend:

Slip-Ons -
I'm a wood worker and am on my feet all day, everyday. I have flat feet and except for a pair of Earth Shoe work boots I had about 28 years ago, I've never had a sneaker or work boot I could wear everyday. I read the reviews of the Lazer K and thought I'd give them a try. They work! It took all of ten minutes to get comfortable with the negative heel and other than my calves feel like I've walked a bit, there're great. I'm 55 and now walk with a bit of a bounce in my step. Who Knew? Don't let the laces fool you, they're slip-ons. Laces are for show. Very cool.
