I wear a woman's 8 wide in my work shoes and in my Brooks Dyad sneakers. I bought the girls Keen Whisper, the girls Keen Newport both in a youth 6 and the men's Keen newport in a 7. the Whispers were too short (my toe really hit) but the newports were perfect length and width wise. the men's fit length wise but is really not for wide feet as I could hardly get it on. I was surprised the 6 youth fit so well.

We love Keens. I gave comfort a 4 because my daughter has narrow feet. She has to wear socks because there is too much rubbing by the ankle. The strap with the velcro isn't long enough to be tight around her ankle. With that said she still wears them every day. Super cute.

Great Kid Shoes!
I bought these shoes for my 6 yr old daughter. She loves them... doesn't ever want to take them off. She is very much a girly girl so we got the pink color. I love the fact that her toes are protected for when she is running outside… riding bikes etc. They are easy for her to get on and off also. I did find they ran smaller. She is normally a size 1, and she got a size 2 in these.

My 2 daughters ages 6 and 8 have now had several pair of these Keens and they love them. In each size they've been the perfect summer shoe. They're just GREAT for all summer wearing and they last and last, can be cleaned up with a hose and water, go through streams, mud, hiking, ocean...virtually anywhere. They also fit wonderfully, are adjustable, and the footbed is like a cloud but with more support than regular sandals. This particular style is our favorite because the closed in heel means less dirt, gravel, sand etc can sneak into the shoe. My girls wear these in pink and they look truly sporty, but more importantly they are truly sporty. They're much cooler looking than some of the other bulky girls functional sandals. Also these hold up better than those I've paid less for. My kids wear them all day to day camp too. We like them so much that we started buying the winter boots and other shoe styles from Keen as well.

One of the best shoes ever made!
This is the second time I have ordered these sandal keen's for my daughter. The first time was for a month long trip to Bali and they held up great. After that trip she wore them constantly until she finally grew out of them. We handed them down and they are still being worn to this day. Now we have her second pair to wear to Disneyland and then the rest of the spring and summer. We ordered one size up as they can run small, plus she'll be able to wear them for a long time. I was a little unsure about the look of the new velcro strap. But it really does make them easier to get into and doesn't detract from the look at all. If you are hesitant to order this shoe. Don't be- it is a great shoe.

I purchased this pair of shoes and after the first time I wore them the seams at the back of them split on both shoes on both sides. I have to send them back and I'm bummed.

My daughter loves these. Wears them every day. She has narrow feet, and while the shoes aren't narrow, she still finds them comfortable. Very rugged.

Keens are so well made, and these ladybug covered purple ones are a big hit with my 5 year old! They are as good as tennis shoes for playing outside, but are great for beach, pool, and sprinkler too!

My daughter loved this new style! We had to order a 1/2 size larger, but they fit her great, especially for a wide foot. Another hit from Keen. And, thanks to Zappos, we got them the very next day! Thanks, Zappos.

These are very comfortable. The footbed is softer than the Whisper model. I can wear these all day with no problems. I love these so much that I bought four different colors!

My slow-growing 9 year old daughter has been wearing the same pair of Keens virtually every day for a year and a half! The puppy chewed a strap - we had it repaired and she continued to wear them for another 9 months. She is finally out growing them and of course we are buying another pair! We love Keens!

I love these shoes. The durability is awesome. I buy my daughter a pair every spring. We do a lot of hiking and camping during the summer months and these are the only shoes that are versatile enough and durable enough to last. Every year at the end of the season the sandals are still in good enough condition that I pass them along to a friend with a younger daughter. Well worth the money, because you would go through 3 pairs of "cheaper" sandals.

Our first Keens and right from out of the box our girls had no blisters, no discomfort, that's without socks and walking 2 miles! They want to wear them, they look good. I was so impressed that I started looking for sandals for me!

These are my 9 year old's new favorite shoes. We got them 2 weeks before a long vacation with a lot of walking in the hot summer sun and we had no blisters! Especially like that they are a sandal but offer support and foot protection.

My children have worn Keens for the past five summers. I love them because they are so durable, they protect their toes and forefoot and they can be worn for anything. Hiking to church-going. We are heading to Alaska this summer and this will be the only pair of shoes they'll need. They can wear them with/without socks depending on the temperature. Thanks, Keen! And Zappos service is fantastic and the shoe arrived within 48 hours with no shipping cost.

An awesome shoe for active kids. Bought pairs for my 6- and 7-year-old girls. They can wear them barefoot (no blisters) and with socks (hikes in the woods). Lightweight so they aren't slowed down while running around the playground either. Pricier than I usually spend on their shoes, but these cover lots of bases so worth it.

Our 5 year old granddaughter, Kaitlin, has worn this shoe since she could walk and it has become a summer tradition. These shoes offer safety & support, go in the water, dress up & down, and work beautiful in the washer. These are the perfect summer children's shoe, although the adults in our family wear them too. I have just recently found out about the excellent service Zappos extends, needing an exchange I had to new shoes overnight without charge or hassle. Thank you Zappos - we will be back often!

We love this shoe! Very nice colors and perfect for spring and summer. They have already had a wash in the washing machine after a muddy day and they still look new. Very comfortable and durable. They are made for tough kids. Would like to see other multi color options. My daughter typically wears a wide and they worked perfectly.
