Love them!
I already owned 4 pairs of keens and love them all, but this is the first pair of sandals. I wasn't too sure about how the bumper toe would look on sandals...but now that they are here, I think they are very cute. I live in the desert and I think the bumper toe actually helps to keep the sand out. I bought the yellow with lupine flowers and the flowered webbing is beautiful They fit perfectly and the back strap is velcro which provides additional adjustment. Cute and comfortable.

Zerraport -
This is a good alternative to a Teva sandal ...very light weight with moderate arch support. I usually take a size 9 1/2 but I found that the 10 was a perfect fit. I wear a 9 1/2 in the Bronx.

Nice, adaptable little shoe -
This is a very comfy shoe that recently performed equally well walking stinking hot city streets as-is and hiking cool, rocky mountains with socks on. Nice sticky sole for all terrains and even boating, and they have held up well to mud, water, and dust. Hose off like new. I have the blue, and they fall squarely into the so-ugly-they're-strangely-attractive category. With my flat feet, I have a hard time finding technical shoes that don't have too much of an arch bump in exactly the wrong place. These are just right. Only one complaint is that the top straps are not as adjustable as I might like -- I had difficulty with the right shoe finding the sweet spot between having them so loose they didn't stay put and so tight that I got a dull pain on the top of my foot & ankle after a day of walking. But that may be more an issue of my narrow heels than the shoe design, and I did not have the same problem on the other foot. Be warned, if you're not used to Keens, that the soles can be strangely hot and get smelly fast. Fortunately, these are open enough that it's not as much of a problem, and they clean up like a charm.

These shoes feel great! I even prefer wearing them to going barefoot these days! I was actually bummed the other day to have to take them off. They have great support and still let my foot breathe. My toes feel protected, and I know they won't fall off my foot. I got them for biking around town. I've been wearing them for so much more.

OSHA, eat your heart out!
I am required, for safety reasons, to wear closed-toe shoes at work. In the heat and humidity of Kona I would rather be barefoot. This has presented a challenge. The Zerraport has good safe toe coverage, an ankle strap to keep me from kicking them off whenever I sit down, and a great tropical feel.

Not the Newport or Venice!
I was excited to try this shoe, as it is a little more feminine looking than the Venice or Newport. Although it is still a nice shoe, it does not compare to the Keen Newport or Venice in comfort. Overall, ALL Keens are more comfortable than other shoes of this type, but I'd recommend sticking with their other two water sandals.

All most perfect!
A very nice sandal with great looks except for the height of the toe box area is short causing pressure on the large toe nail. Most Keens are great shoes but had to return these.

As Keens go, this is a pretty comfortable sandal. I have a narrow foot so the adjustable straps work well. The toe is fine except if you do a lot of walking your toes get a little sore from hitting against the hard rubber. It looks nicer that most of the Keens shoes and I do get a lot of compliments on the style.

Cool and comfy -
My Zerraports are great. They're durable and rugged but they're also fun to run around shopping and doing errands.
The only complaint I have is that the back strap has velcro that closes up to secure my foot. The shoe seems to be the right size, but the velcro strap seems too long and doubles over itself too much leaving me with extra strap and less secure closure.
I manage in spite of that and have worn them every day for the last 2 weeks that I have had them. I may try to check with Keen to see if we can do something about the back strap.

Tried and True -
I love my Keen Zerraport! Wore the shoes everywhere. Went to the beach, hiked around Cape May and rode my bike with my shoes. The shoes were put to the test and they passed with flying colors. I would truly recommend these shoes to anyone.

Only sandal I can wear!
After some "botched" corrective surgery on my feet 30 years ago, I've never been able to wear sandals in the summer. When I saw that these had "toes" I jumped at the chance to try them.
I'm thrilled to say...I can wear these. When I received them, I loved that I could tighten the strapping to "corral" my big toes...(which were left with no capsule control from surgery).
I own a garden center and my feet are ALWAYS wet, and these dry out so fast!
My only concern is that the strapping after a couple weeks, has stretched to the point that I can't tighten it anymore and the sandals have become sloppy now. I may have to take them to a shoe repair to have the colored strapping shortened. Oh did I mention that after receiving the first pair, I immediately bought a second? That's how thrilled I am...love and peace...

Have to have pretty feet and long legs -
I rated this an overall 4 because it would be a GREAT shoe if you have very pretty feet and long legs - otherwise you look like a duck. Also, for me the strap rubbed up on my ankle - but that might not happen for everyone.

Function and Fashion -
Very comfortable shoe. Love the covered toe for water and outdoor activities. Whacked many a toe when kayaking or rafting when wearing tevas. These are more comfortable than my Chacos. I feel safe and secure in these. They look cute too. Function and fashion.

Adorable and comfortable!!
I am borderline wide width, and the width on this is great. I think it's a bit shorter than I thought it would be. I ordered a 7.5 but it feels more like a 7. It will work, though. And I love them!

Blistered toes - I bought these shoes for a month long trip and luckily decided to test them at home despite the raving reviews. Initially they felt amazing, then after half an hour the rubber top started rubbing the tops of my toes raw! I had to take them off and walk barefoot because it hurt too much. I didn't even try to work through the pain, for that price I'll get a better shoe.

They are a great looking shoe but I rubbed a blister on a toe on my left foot. I'm trying to adjust the shoe to avoid these problems but it’s a little tough yet. I don't know if I would buy this style again.

Allergic to smell of shoe material -
I loved the comfort of these shoes in the heel, arch and open webbing. However the footbed under the balls of toes is rather thin which is where I tend to get sore feet after long walks. But the main reason I'm returning these shoes is that I can't seem to air out the rubbery smell. For some reason, it's very potent and made my nose run every time I was near the shoe.

Poor little toe -
I am not fond of the way these look but I thought they'd be a cool alternative to Newports, which I can't wear because my little toe pops out of the strap.
I was disappointed by these, the footbed seems to have the usual Keen comfort but the toe box area is odd. My two littlest toes are exposed and the tip of the pinky toe is rubbing on the edge of the rubber toe box.
I also just don't like the Teva-like hippie look of these, I thought I could get over it for the comfort, but I can't.
One plus with these shoes if you don't think you'll have the toe issue, they have an adjustable heel strap, which is perfect for people with narrow heels like me.
I ordered the Keen Bali's in the same order, and I am in love. They are much cuter and more comfortable, my pinky toes are happy. I'll be returning the Zerraports.

Snazzy color, but not for me.
These look very weird on my feet, and make my feet look like paws (wide and stubby). My little toe peeks out the side, so the toe cap doesn't do a whole lot by way of protecting it, and the angle of the straps, and the contrast between the blackness of the back and the massive amount of structure at the heel makes the proportions of my feet look odd. I absolutely adore the orange color, and hope Keen continues to broaden its color palette.

Looks neat but not comfortable -
This shoe falls short for a Keen shoe. I've always liked this brand but the strap is awkward and uncomfortable. I was looking forward to the toe coverage with a sandal shoe. This does not deliver!

These shoes are vanilla scented. An interesting idea, but I just can't stand the smell. They do fit my narrow foot well. I ordered a half size larger than normal and my toes still hit the end. There's no quick release buckle so you have to use the velcro at the heel to enter the shoe.

Keep them in the city; not on the trails -
I read so many great reviews about the Zerraports on several online sites, I was excited to have them replace an old pair of Teva Terra Fi. (I love the Tevas, but the fact that they get so odiferous is their main downside). I normally wear a size 7 or 7.5, so I originally bought the Zerraports in a size 7, which was way too small and my heel hung over the back. I then ordered the size 7.5, which turned out to be too big and my foot slops around in them, so their sizing seems questionable. Also, the toe cap does not fit well: It rubs on the tops of my toes and chafes the top of the knuckles. The toe cap on the women's style does not cover the little toe, so if I'm walking strongly, the tip of my little toes catch painfully on the edge of the toe cap. They also don't seem to have any instep support and feel like walking barefoot on a hard floor. The shoes will gather debris and dead skin in the toe cap, icky and noticeable when taking them off. Also, the velcro on the heel strap is not placed well; when the heel strap is fastened - even after adjusting it several times - the male/female sides of the velcro don't match up well. Only about 1/4" of the velcro sticks together and the rest of the strap hangs freely, so it doesn't feel very secure. I bought the shoes for extended hiking, camping, and woodland use (what I used my Tevas for) but I'll only be wearing the Keen Zerraport for errands around town and bicycling since they'd be a liability to the health of my feet for anything more strenuous.
These points pertain to the women's style Zerraports by Keen. My husband has the men's and he likes his, but the men's version seems to be built differently (different material on the sides, toe box goes back further and covers all the toes, more velcro on heel strap). I would not recommend the women's Zerraport shoe except for casual wear in the city, or anything not requiring a lot of walking on natural terrain.
