After owning several pairs of Gel Kayanos (earlier models), I tried some different brands trying to find a good shoe for over pronation at a lower price. I'm back to Asics for good. Nothing compares. I'm flat footed and walk about 30 miles a week. In other shoes my knees began hurting shortly after I began using them and later my hips and ankles followed suit. The Gel Kayano seems to be the best for keeping legs in proper alignment. Freedom from pain and injury is well worth the price!

Great Shoe - Will Order Again - Compared the Kayanos to a pair of NB 1223s. 1223s are more of a Motion Control shoe. Plus, they hardly have any upper top toe support. Gives it a very spongy feel when you pick up your feet. Loved the Kayanos. Perfect for mild overpronation. Will definitely order again after these are done.

The shoes feel great on my feet and provide the most comfortable feel in a running shoe. This is my second pair of Asics Gel Kayano and I love them; will never buy a different style of running shoe.

Great shoe! Great support and control. Really helps with my plantar fasciitis.

Will be running sneakers going forward - Have always used Asics 2120, 2130 after finding that Asics sneakers are the right shoes for me. However, putting on these shoes for the first time it fits and feels better than the 21 series. May be a little more money but for your health down the line - priceless.

Looks don't matter - Heavy old guy 200# 35 year runner with sore feet. What great shoes. No heavy legs and feet feel better. I bought a half size larger.

Fabulous shoe! I love these shoes. I wear them for every day use as well as exercise. Before I bought these, I was having a lot of trouble finding shoes that were wide enough in the toe area. I was told to try a men's shoe even though I am a woman. I love them and now I do not need to wear orthotics.

Excellent shoes for a dentist on his feet all day - Dear Zappos, these are tremendously comfortable shoes that can be worn all day without any discomfort. I am going to place an order right away for several more pairs in different colors. Thanks for the great, prompt and courteous service.

Awesome service and quality of goods - I order these for a late Xmas gift. Due to the size they are hard to find. Above all these are the best shoes on the market. Comfort and fit and durability. Zappos once again came through. Will not order anywhere else online. AAAA+++++

The Best - This is a great shoe. I switched from Nike Shox to a pair these and there is no way that I am going back. I am a moderate over pronator so this shoe is perfect. I have not had any quality problems. I probably have about 1000 to 1500 miles on mine so I think I am going to get the 14s when they come out.

Knee Easy - Wanted best shock absorbing running shoe to reduce impact on joints. Needed wide width, stability shoe. Tried on several but judged this gel heel better than same class Brooks or New Balance (both PU foams) for lowering impact. Also has slightly better arch support than New Balance. Found the colors and use of "shiny" metallic stripes a bit cheesy but these are serious runners not fashion statements so no big deal. Biomorphic fit and support are excellent.

My second pair of gel-kayanos, and another good pair. The heal feels a little lose for now, but I think once I break it in it will be good - I think the heal might have a lot more padding than I am used to. I have pretty narrow feet and the shoes feel fine for that. I have only run on them a few times but they feel great so far - they rock well into each step, have great stability, and breathe well.

JK... Very nice performing shoe with great comfort. Loads of cushioning and excellent stability control through the entire gait cycle. And as an added bonus they look great!

ASICS KEYANO 13 - AWESOME SNEAKERS!! A TRUE RUNNING SNEAKER!! My first pair of ASICS and NOW I'M A DIE HARD FAN! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND A PAIR OF LIGHTWEIGHT DeFeet Socks to complete the experience!!!

Asics Gel - These shoes are well worth the money! They are comfortable and great for walking and running. I have flat and wide feet and for years I have had problems finding a shoe that fits me properly. I finally found a shoe that doesn’t feel or look wide. They have a wide toe box so your toes don’t feel crunched at the bottom when you walk.

CONVERTED FROM NB TO ASICS... GREAT SHOES! I used to only buy New Balance but my last four pairs of shoes have been Asics and I will never go back. Asics give great arch support and are very stable on uneven surfaces. My feet are so appreciative of my recent convert.

Like no other - Shoes are great, perfect fit excellent look. You can buy them blind. Best shoes I ever wear.

Love Them!! I bought these for my husband who took up running recently. He loves them, very comfortable and supportive.

On my third pair - I jog/run 2-3 times a week, nothing too ambitious, 8 1/2 mins/mile on my best day, 4-6 miles a run - maximum distances I've run 17 miles. I replace the shoes every 6-9 months. I can run in these shoes the day they arrive without fear of blisters or discomfort. Besides the comfortable cushion they provide, the best feature is the sizing - they are comfortable with feeling tight and that’s important since your feet swell during the run.

Great shoe - Fantastic shoe overall, definitely pricy, but what can you do.

Comfort zone! This is my second pair of Asics Gel-Kayano’s. The Kayano 13 is very comfortable on the first run. The more you run and the longer you run, you can feel the cushion and support.

Outstanding - My son wears these shoes. He is an elite runner who needs the most out of his shoes. Kayano has delivered a fantastic shoe. He has absolutely no complaints he has a medium arch and is a neutral runner which makes the Kayano a perfect fit. The best part as the customer is Zappos outstanding customer service SIMPLY OUTSTANDING!!

Motion Control You Can Run In - The Kayano 13 is a great shoe for people who need some motion control and/or are larger runners. I am big ( 6'4" and 225) and overpronate and had been wearing New Balance 1122, which was recently redesigned as the 1221. The old NB was stiff and heavy, but the new one is even stiffer--like running on boards. The Kayano 13 is like running on air by comparison. Great fit, great feel, flexible but with plenty of control and cushioning.
