I operate a dairy farm, and have found these boots to withstand all the rigors of the job while keeping my feet toasty. Even in sub-zero temperatures my feet have remained comfortable.

The Baffin Trapper, they got it right this time! Used in western Maine during the winter of 2014 1. Warm,dry feet 2. The size is accurate 3. The style is fine, however not to worry in Maine!

These boots are awesome! I wish I had gotten them long ago. They are equally functional in both the city and country where I've worn them regularly during this awful winter. dry, warm, with traction.

Speedy shipping! I wish the boot had just a little more arch support for me but it is a good warm boot.

The best winter work boots I've ever owned. They have awesome tread and the insert breathes nice and keeps your feet warm. Runs a size big so keep that in mind. Really rugged, good height and warm. Hands down the best winter boot.

These boots are great - I bought them for my boyfriend when he needed snowboots, and they turned out to be the perfect solution! They are wide enough at the top for him to fit the pants in if necessary, but slim enough to look normal when under his pants. He has been outside a couple of times already shoveling snow and reports that they are super comfy! The inserts are also super cushiony and can be removed if need be. He is a 12/12.5 usually and I ordered a 12 - they fit him perfectly. Zappos had perfect timing as always! Ordered them in preparation for a coming snowstorm and got them right before the snow started!

Good, Waterproof and Warm winter boot. I wanted a warm boot and this was it. It does not have a lot of support and is not great for walking long distances, but if you need a nice warm boot for shoveling snow and such in the winter time, this one does quite well, and keeps you warm while doing it.

This is the 2nd pair of these I have purchased - one for my husband and one for our son. I never hear I have cold feet ever! and they are out in these for 8-12 hours at a time, in weather in the single digits.

Excellent boot, very comfortable. Super warm; I wear these for hunting and they work great. Very well made to say the least. Highly recommend if you are a treestand or bowhunter and want scent-free warmth.

These boots are amazingly comfortable in cold weather thanks to the removable liner. Even after leaving these boots outside in sub-zero temperatures overnight I can still put my bare foot in the boot without any discomfort. Usually in the winter I wear two layers of socks, and these boots are a little bit over sized which accommodates layering or super thick socks nicely (however, they also stay on my feet fine with just one sock or in bare feet, too -- usually I wear 8.5, but my pair of these boots is size 9). They also have ridged heel-kicks on the back of each boot which makes taking them off without untying the top much easier. With other boots I've had my toes will get cold after being in the snow for a few hours, but I've been outside for 3 hours straight in these boots and my feet have stayed toasty without overheating. The drawstring top does a pretty good job at keeping snow from working its way into the boot, and even if it does the liner is somewhat water resistant and dries quickly (and still keeps my feet warm when damp). The outside of the boot is completely waterproof and sealed perfectly, and the boot itself is flexible enough to make walking comfortable. These boots also have pretty good traction on compacted snow and ice. I wouldn't wear them on a slick icy surface like a pond, but for more irregular icy surfaces they work great. I also haven't had any foot fatigue or discomfort after standing and walking in these boots for hours at a time. There isn't a ton of arch support, though, so if I was going to spend all day in them I would probably put an insert in for additional comfort. Overall one of the best shoe purchases I've ever made and definitely the best boot purchase.

Since last year's snow fest I have been trying to find my husband a great pair of boots at a great price. These are the ticket! Even our "ever the outdoorsman" brother-in-law was impressed!

The Baffin Trapper boot functions perfectly in keeping me warm and dry. The specs are listed to 40 below zero, but 10 below zero is closer to the truth. These boots are very comfortable, which makes all the difference! I am a forester and this gives me lots of time in the woods during weather and ground conditions of all kinds.

I help my husband do cattle chores twice a day and these really keep my feet warm.

After reading the reviews, I decided to try them. Glad I did. These boots have been outstanding. I have worn them many times now while ice fishing in 0 degree weather with wind chill to -20 degrees and my feet were very warm and comfortable. I recommend them to anyone.

I purchased these boots as recommended by my hunting and fishing partner and found them to be one of the best boots that I own. For a rubber boot, they perform excellent in this northern Wisconsin weather while being worn ice fishing. Your feet do stay warm. I wear two pair of socks so make sure you order one size larger than your regular shoe size. The tread grips the snow and some ice good, but on smooth ice one still should wear some type of ice cleats. If you ice fish and drill holes, you know how the water comes pouring up and out over your feet well these boots take care of getting wet boots!! Dealing with Zappos was easy and the delivery time was excellent. I will certainly look to Zappos for further purchases. I might add that I do use a clam type fish shelter with small heater so I’m not out sitting on a bucket exposed to the cold so if that is your means of fishing perhaps you might need to toss in a few foot/toe heater pads for extra comfort if really cold, like below the teens… good luck fishing and enjoy a good pair of boots. Baffin also offers some higher degree of insulated rated rubber boots if that is your concern or need. P.S. They also work great for deer hunting so you get two types of usage for the really great low price.

Great boots. Extremely warm and comfortable. Easy to slip on and off. Only negative is that they do need more arch support. I put arch supports in them, which helped and it also adds to the temperature rating. It just one more layer between your feet and the ground.

These are excellent boots. They are very warm and 100% waterproof. This is my second pair. I use them for ice fishing and hunting in northern Minnesota.

Warm, waterproof and windproof. Very flexible sole (no arch support). A big boot. I live in Minnesota, and my feet have stayed pretty warm, even on hour long bike rides at zero degrees (F). And my feet are not good at staying warm, generally. It is a bigger boot than I was hoping for, a little hard to walk in.

They will keep your feet dry and cover human scent while walking but sitting for a while, I'm talking tree stand deer hunting(5 to 6 hours) at 32degrees F. my feet did get cold. maybe a thicker boot liner. The toe area mostly.

My friend from work told me about the Baffin trapper boot. And he was right; the boot is warm and very comfortable to.were in a cold climate and the boot is warm just like my friend said and also you can were them out in the mud or water, and snow too, great boot.

A great pair of boots. They are very comfortable. They are very flexible (even in very cold weather) and move easily with me as I walk. They keep my warm and dry. I did add my own insole to give me a little more arch support. Overall, I found them to be a great value.

Very good fit, very warm and comfortable, totally satisfied. I recommend this boot to any and everyone who wants the best in a cold weather, waterproof boot!

I went through 3 or 4 different pairs of boots before I found these. Had 2 pairs of Kamiks and 2 pair of Mucks. The Kamiks were similar to these, very comfy, but just way too big. The Mucks did not feel as comfortable. Finally I get these in a size 10 (I'm a solid 10.5-11). They were tight at first, but just a little. After wearing them a day on the ice (ice fishing) they broke in nicely and were very comfortable. Like slippers comfy... I'm very happy with the purchase and they're 1/2 the price of some of the other boots I was trying. Only advice if you get them and they're a little tight in the toes at first give them a day. Or take the removable shell out of the boot. If the shell fits your foot well, they will break it some and should fit.
