I live in Minnesota and purchased these boots to use when I work on my backyard ice rink. There is no doubt that these boots are extremely warm and waterproof. They are a bit bulky. I wouldn't suggest them if you plan to do a lot of walking. My only complaint is that my Carhartt bibs need to be unzipped in the legs to go over these boots due to the width of the boots (caused by extra insulation inside the boot). Overall a great boot for being outside in cold temps for an extended period of time.

Though their claim to stay warm to -148 is ridiculous, these are the warmest boots I've ever put on (and I live where it dips well below zero for most of the winter). On the other hand, they are very heavy boots (a lot heavier than my old Sorels) and there's no hiding these boots underneath your pants. Considering how toasty my feet feel, I'll take the extra workout and the lack of style points.

I was looking for boots for my husband that would be tall enough and waterproof to get him through the deep snow we have had in New Jersey this winter. These fit the bill without breaking the bank. Definitely not a fashionable boot. Very heavy on the body -- which can be a good thing for maintaining balance but not for taking a walk. These boots will protect you at the north or south poles!

Most ridiculously small sized boot ever. I have two pairs of Baffin boots that are fine but these boots run two sizes too small

Living in Canada with it's harsh winters, you need warm winter clothing. I bought these boots for my son. He uses them for ice fishing and his feet stay warm and dry. I have recommended these to my friends. My husband and I also wear Baffins.

I bought the Baffin Titans because my feet seemed to be the one part of my body I hadn't been able to keep comfortable on those single digit days while ice fishing. I did a lot of reading about different brands and different lines within brands. I chose Baffin on the basis of what I read. I chose the Titans because we get a lot of snow and the occasional thaw where I live, near Traverse City, MI. That means we're often fishing on slush covered ice that would often and easily reach leather uppers. With the rubber uppers on the Titans that wasn't a concern. I've worn the Titans twice for fishing, including a day when the afternoon high temp was about 8 degrees. My feet were very comfortable. The only downside of the boots was their size - it's hard to walk a long distance more because of their bulk than their weight. And they're flat out dangerous to try to drive with (as in you could easily hit the brake and accelerator together). I knew that before my purchase and accept it for the tradeoff of warm feet. Regarding Zappos. Their prices were much cheaper than any other retailer and the product shipped and arrived on time.

I am a female that purchased this boot to shovel snow and work on the farm in our PA winters. I wear a women's size 9 and the men's size 7 fits perfectly. This seems like a very sturdy boot that would last for many years. It is also extremely comfortable. Unfortunately, I have to return it because it does not fit under the legs of my insulated bib overalls. Otherwise, this Titan boot would be the perfect winter work boot. I ended up purchasing the women's size 9 Baffin Impact instead. The Impact has the same great fit with a little less bulk up top.

I live in MN and ice fish whenever I can. Used these boots on the last 2 trips and they are incredible. I could not be happier. The sizing chart was perfect for my feet. They are very warm. Obviously big boots but I wore them to class yesterday during the snowstorm and I get around everywhere with them fine. They are great for snowmobiling, ice fishing, shoveling the driveway. My favorite part is how easy they slip on and off. I wear regular ankle socks in them and they are warm as can be. Love these boots, love Baffin, great product. I cannot say enough about them. (Don't work for Baffin, I just seriously like these boots.)

Attention ice fishermen - These are some of the most incredible warm boots you could buy on this planet! They would not fit me, but did fit my son and he no longer ever complains about cold feet. Beware: As identified in the description, these are heavy! Plus, if you have a >EE wide foot and you are large boned then fagheddaboutit! Like myself, you likely won't get even half a foot into the boot before you can't go any further. It seems the boot makers think the only thing that should fit in an ultra-warm boot is plenty of insulation. I have yet to find an ultra warm boot wide enough to accommodate 4E and big bone structure.

These are great boots for warmth! They are a little heavy to walk in, though. I bought them for my son who works at a ski area and stands in the snow all day long and has never had his feet get cold!

These boots are the most comfortable and warm things I've ever put on my feet. I don't use them for much where I live other than shoveling the occasional snow and trudging through mud, but these have been great. They size a bit large, so keep that in mind while ordering.

I'm very satisfied with these boots, had them for 8 years now. Still warm but one of them has some little leaks, the rubber must get old some time. Now the bad news: there is no dealer in Sweden anymore.

I bought these boots because I was looking for a quality rubber boot not made in China. When I got the boot, it's stamped made in Canada on the boot, but when you pull out the liner, it says made in China.

I wear a size 10 1/2, D width men's shoe. Seeing the "true to size" fit description, I first ordered a size 11, planning to wear a pair of heavy, insulated socks under the boots for all-day, sedentary activities (ice fishing, stand hunting) in northern Minnesota winters. The size 11 boots were very tight, even with summer weight socks, when I first put them on out of the box. Winter being many months away, I decided to return the size 11 boots for a size 12 - a size and a half larger than my shoe size. The size 12 fits comfortably and has room for heavy socks. The "fits true to size" designation did not work at all for me! These aren't boots I would use for winter hiking or activities where there would be a lot of walking. They are heavy and tend to pull socks down quickly when walking any distance. They are ideal for sedentary activities in very cold weather, where little walking is planned. A better, fully waterproof boot for winter activities involving lots of walking and movement is a boot like the LaCrosse Alpha Burly with 800 G Thinsulate. It's not rated for the coldest temps, like this Baffin boot, but when you're moving, body heat keeps your feet warmer. The LaCrosse Burly line of boots, because of how they fit around the ankles and heels, has not tended to pull my socks down when walking like pac-style boots such as Sorels and this Baffin boot. That said, they are different boot designs, for different purposes. Each is good for its intended purpose!

These boots beat out other boots that cost a lot more for warmth. I just used them for the first time ice fishing,no cold feet !They are heavy and hot to walk far, so you may want to put them on your sled on the way out fishing, but well worth the warm feet.

I bought these to use ice fishing. I haven't been on the ice yet, but I know I made the right decision. These boots are for cold weather. Had them on shoveling snow with temps about 34 degrees, and they were to warm. A little on the heavy side, but you appreciate the quality as soon as you put them on. I would highly recommend these for anyone needing warm, waterproof boots.
