Okay, I just got to test drive these boots today. We had 5 1/2 inches of very wet slushy snow rain temp was about 32 degrees and I did not wear any heavy socks at all. My feet were toasty warm, close to hot, but I need boots that really keep my feet warm because I'm on blood thinners. I worked outside for about five hours tonight I have to say these boots are great. Where I work at we use a lot of calcium chloride, it's great for that because you just rinse them off and not worry about leather drying out real fast or becoming un-waterproof. I can't wait for more heavy wet snow to test them more. People say these are heavy and bulky but they are Winter boots! Note: Zappos rocks, customer service is top notch! I ordered mine a half size smaller and there is plenty of room for my feet!

These boots are awesome in the cold and snow in NE Montana! -20 and 2 feet of snow doesn't make me flinch anymore. And Zappos surprise me with free shipping upgraded to rush and was great! Thanks, Zappos!

These are great, they are completely warm and completely waterproof. The sole is flexible so you can feel the contours of the ground which is helpful in uneven terrain and unusual in a winter boot. I got these to replace a pair of 10+ year old Baffin pac boots and couldn't be happier. My first time out I stood in every puddle of icy slush water I could find and asked my friends if any of their boots could handle that (they couldn't) the temperature of my feet never changed no matter how much ice water I stood in they were warm and dry. They do get very warm if you are walking a lot. There is a pair here somewhere with less insulation. If I'm going out for a short period of time, I sometimes wear them without socks and they are still perfectly warm. The tops tie which I also like. I feel like they stay tighter than with the plunger lock thing (I don't know the technical name) that was on my previous boots. Made in Canada.

NW Montana work outside in neg zero weather 8 to 12 hours a day wearing moderate socks never ever fear the weather in these bad boys, any weather over freezing you will want to wear summer socks. Feet will sweat in these boots requiring taking out the lining at night to air dry. Love these boots, a little bulky but I'm not complaining. I want warm feet, I got warm feet.

Outstanding!! I spend 8 hours in 14 degree weather in the middle of Central Park NYC, out in the open the whole time. Unbelievably, I felt it was 70 degrees and at times around 80. In fact, I had to stand still to cool down a bit every now and then. I wouldn't have believed it if I didn't experience it myself. My feet tend to sweat no matter what, which creates a problem in the winter but not with these boots, regardless of the conditions, I never felt cold at all. I stayed a few extra hours to really test them, I was so amazed that I felt I had to write a review. Truly well done! Bulky but do to its flexibility it does not restrict movement at all, they're very comfortable as well, in the end these boots are worth every penny.

I deliver home heating oil in the northeast. I bought these boots two years ago and they're holding up great. My feet have never been warmer or dryer. I've been doing this for 15 years and these boots have lasted longer than any other boot I have owned. They take a beating getting in and out of the truck all day 12 hours a day 6 days a week and they're easy on the feet. Good job Baffin.

Great wet and cold weather boot! I spent a 10 hour day in a deer stand at 15 degrees above zero. My feet were as toasty warm as in front of a fireplace. Wish I could have said the same for my hands!

Working on an unheated dock in the winter requires extremely warm footwear. Baffin has always provided the product and the Titan is top of the line. Been wearing Baffins for decades and will continue to do so.

I have had a pair of these for three years. the first time I bought these was to work with the pipeline while it was going through northern minnesota. Some days it was -50 F. and through it all my feet stayed warm.

These boots are amazing! They keep my feet so warm while I am shoveling and working outside. The footbed is so cushy, it is like walking on clouds. They are a little hard to drive plow in (stiff), but you get used to it.

Easy to slip on without hands, very comfortable and extremely warm. The only downside is sometimes I don't get to wear them because one of the boys grabs them first.

I am very pleased with these boots. Here in Michigan we get some heavy snowfall and the snow collar works well to keep the snow out and your feet dry. They are also easy to get on and off with no laces to get untied and/or caked with snow. This is nice if you are wearing snowshoes and these boots seem to fit in the snowshoes well. I just purchased them a few days ago and therefore cannot comment on their durability, but they seem to be well made with thick material. They are also warm and waterproof. Overall, a good boot for hunting, etc. in my opinion.

I have had Baffin boots before, and they are the warmest and the most stylish. The boots I ordered were for hunting and I wanted them to be completely waterproof, so there not the most stylish, but very functional and warm. Zappos was great too.

These boots are the best I ever bought...and I have bought many a pair! Easy to put on and extremely comfortable. My only regret is that I bought it at the end (almost of the major snow season). I would strongly recommend these.

I bought these as a replacement for a different pair that broke... These boots are great! The color we bought was hunter-black and they are not black they are more of a really dark forest green. They are really tall (they come up past his knees), roomy in the calf area and warm on the cold days. My hubs likes them because they are no fuss and they slip on and off. They are quite heavy though and are not the kind of boots you wear out and about but they do the job...

I have owned a pair of Baffin Hunter boots for a few years in size 11 and they are awesome. I wear size 11 in most other brands of shoes too. My father-in-law tried on my Hunter boots and liked them, and thought they were the right size for him too but he wanted something with more insulation. I ordered these Titan boots for him but he told me to go ahead and size them up to a 12 because he expected they would feel tighter with the heavy insulation. When they arrived, even in size 12 they were so tight he could barely get his feet in and they were not very comfortable. I ended up returning them and was able to find size 13 Titan boots in a physical store not too far away as a replacement because I needed them ASAP. The Titan boots in size 13 fit him perfectly with a pair of wool socks, but he normally wears a size 10 to 10.5 shoe for what it’s worth.

If you have wide feet definitely go a couple sizes bigger than you normally wear, haven't got to try them out yet but they feel really warm

I usually wear a 13 wide and I find the 13 medium to be a bit snug in every direction. I think I will only be able to wear thinner socks with these boots. I'm hoping they become less snug as they break in. Also, walking around the house is a little awkward. It's not the size of the boot that's the problem, it's the motion of rolling from heel to toe. Hopefully the snugger fit won't interfere with the warmth this boot is supposed to provide.

I live in Minnesota and purchased these boots to use when I work on my backyard ice rink. There is no doubt that these boots are extremely warm and waterproof. They are a bit bulky. I wouldn't suggest them if you plan to do a lot of walking. My only complaint is that my Carhartt bibs need to be unzipped in the legs to go over these boots due to the width of the boots (caused by extra insulation inside the boot). Overall a great boot for being outside in cold temps for an extended period of time.

Though their claim to stay warm to -148 is ridiculous, these are the warmest boots I've ever put on (and I live where it dips well below zero for most of the winter). On the other hand, they are very heavy boots (a lot heavier than my old Sorels) and there's no hiding these boots underneath your pants. Considering how toasty my feet feel, I'll take the extra workout and the lack of style points.

I was looking for boots for my husband that would be tall enough and waterproof to get him through the deep snow we have had in New Jersey this winter. These fit the bill without breaking the bank. Definitely not a fashionable boot. Very heavy on the body -- which can be a good thing for maintaining balance but not for taking a walk. These boots will protect you at the north or south poles!

Most ridiculously small sized boot ever. I have two pairs of Baffin boots that are fine but these boots run two sizes too small
