Bugs in My Teeth -
These are great boots--comfortable, very sharp, sturdy. I've wanted a pair since about 1957 when they were still called engineer boots. I wear them only to ride, and find them ideal. Redwing makes a great product.
Drawback: I'd wanted steel toes with the traditional soles--just DON'T like the feel of deep lugs on my footpegs!

Terrific Boots!
They fit true to size, are extremely comfortable, and I would recommend them to anyone considering them.

Excellent cycle boot -
These are great for riding. The sturdy sole and heel, and thick leather are excellent, while at the same time very comfortable. I tried all the other Red Wing motorcycle boots, and 968 are the ones for me.

Love the boots -
This is my second pair of Red Wings and they are exactly what I've come to expect. The boots are comfortable and fit perfectly. I actually prefer them to my first pair of Red Wings. I haven't gotten a chance to ride with them yet, but am looking forward to it!

Boots -
These boots look and feel great. The only problem is the left foot bottom, it feels like there is a bump there. I can live with that. Could be my uneven feet.

THE Boot -
I have never had a boot--and I have ten--that is so well made and so study. This will probably be the last boot I ever need or buy.

Very Pleased -
I tend to have a hard time finding boots that aren't too narrow for my legs. The adjustable top really made a difference. They fit my legs and my heels don't slide up when walking.

Excellent quality at a bargain price.
These boots exceeded my expectations given the modest price. The photos don't do them justice. Everything from the heavy yet subtle leather to the metal badge and buckles is top notch. The workmanship is excellent throughout and they are extremely comfortable. The styling is clean and understated without a lot of tacky bling. I previously owned the Harley-Davidson brand, but the Red Wings are clearly better. The irony is that I originally intended to buy the H-D's but they were not available in my very small 6.5 boot size. I'm so impressed that I decided to also buy a pair of Red Wing lace-up waterproof model 980 motorcycle boots, and probably my next pair of work boots will be Red Wings as well.
I'd also recommend:

Good Motorcycle Boots!
This is my 1st pair of Red Wing boots, my last pair of boots were the Harley brand. Those lasted me 6 years. I really like the way the 968 boots fit and how they look. They grip, I don't slip on the foot pegs and I don't slip on any road surface that I have been on so far. So the only thing wrong with these boots is the buckle at the top. It looks cool, but the edge of the cutout rubs on my legs. I had to glue some leather on the inside of the boot to cover the cutout. Now there is no more rubbing and it does not show from the outside. These are very comfortable, I have been wearing them all day at work with no sore feet :) If you like the look, get them. If you buy anything on the internet, you are going to be Super Happy with Zappos.com. They are amazing, fast and super professional. Give them all the business you can.

Review of Red Wing Motorcycle boots -
The boots were exactly as described. A great buy. I was particularly impressed from Zappos service; placing the order just took a couple of minutes and the boots came the next day!

Quality boot -
The 968s are a very good quality boot. I have narrow shins so boots are always an iffy fit with me, but they fit well and there is a slight slip on the heel when I step which is always the case with boots. You can adjust the two straps, but they don't really do much. The boot looks nice, but isn't going to grab any attention. I look forward to riding with them.

Good, but could be better -
I remember when these were U.S. made, oh well.
Thick leather makes for long lasting boot, but also a long break in period. These keep my feet warm on cold morning rides. Overall, I'm pretty pleased with these, I just try to buy U.S. made when I can. My first order was the Chippewa engineer boots, but they were steel toe... too uncomfortable for me.
I'd also recommend:
Chippewa, non steel toe if you can find them

TBH, I do not have a motorcycle. I was looking for a black boot that looked good. I was disappointed in the dull flat-black color of the leather. The boot style is bulky and formless over the top of your foot. Red Wing boots are well-known and many riders may disagree. But for me, it was just not what I was looking for.
